Effect of Se on the yield and Se status of Brussels sproutsgrown in hydroponics
Influence of Selenium (Se) concentration in the nutrient solution on yield, quality, and Se status of Brussels sprout plants (Brassica oleracea, varGemmifera) was evaluated. The Brussels sprout plants were treated with six concentration of Se asselenate sodium (Na2 SeO4., 0, 2, 4, 8, 16 and 32 mg L-1).Treatments were arranged in a completely randomize design with four replicates. The highest concentration of Se in the leaves, buds and stem was observed at the 32mg L-1 Se concentration. The total Se accumulation in percentage differed among different parts of plants. Total Se for the differ parts of plants ranged from 2.44 to 65.93% and old leaves accounted for the greatest proportion of total Se, followed by stem, young leaves, roots and buds in descending order. Increasing Se concentration increased Se allocation to the roots, while reduced the Se allocation to the buds. The size of buds increased by increasing Se concentration from 0 to 8 mg L-1. However it was reduced in 16 and 32mg L-1 Se concentration. It can be concluded that Se supplements (8mg L-1) improve yield, and Se concentration in the bud.

Hydrogen Adsorption on Sodium-attached Graphene
First principles calculations based on Density Functional Theory were carried out to study hydrogen storage capacity of sodium doped graphene. The pure graphene exhibits low hydrogen storage capacity hence we modified graphene by doping of sodium. Sodium occupies the empty (hollow) position on graphene with average carbon sodium bond-length of 2.64 Å. This investigation predicts that positively charged sodium atom on graphene physisorbed maximum six hydrogen molecules with the average adsorption energy 0.20 eV/H2 amounting gravimetric density of 9.2 wt%. Mulliken population analysis shows that the charge transfer from sodium to graphene is responsible for higher hydrogen uptake than the pure graphene sheet.

Comaring the effect of emotional intelligence on the marketing of economic firms and marketing intelligence of managers (Case study: Bu Ali industrial estate of Hamadan)
This study, entitled "Investigating the Effect of EQ and marketing intelligence on the success of marketplaces in marketing" was conducted with an overall objective and 5 sub-objectives in the Bou_Ali industrial estate of Hamadan in 2013. This research is a descriptive-analytic study in the form of a causal - comparative survey. The research population consists of 180 individuals and includes all the managers and persons in charge of the manufacturing and service factories in Bu Ali industrial estate. The sample size was measured at 123 by Cochran's formula and it was randomly selected. Data were collected through three questionnaires. One standardized Sherring EQ questionnaire with 33 questions and two researcher-made questionnaires for marketing intelligence and marketing success, and were analyzed using SPSS software version 19 and by multivariate regression. Face and content validity of three questionnaires were measured and then assessed by Cronbach's alpha coefficient, which in all questionnaires was 0/70. Results showed that EQ had effect on the success of marketers and marketplace. Accurate results suggest regarding the three factors of the overall success in marketing, analyzing the market, and selecting target markets, the EQ was stronger than the marketing intelligence. But the marketing intelligence functions more strongly than EQ only in two factors: fusion of marketing elements and efforts in marketing

Learning Objects: Teaching with Technology
Learning objects provide easily accessible and individualized learning facilitated through flexible deployment of networks of small, reusable components from multiple sources. A good learning object helps students understand a worthwhile concept accurately, concretely, and well-presented. They also take students through a structured experience that draws on creative pedagogy. Despite their time-honored use and discussion in the area of information technology, learning objects are still the Cinderella sister of the other materials and objects used in education. The aim of this article is, therefore, to investigate the role of learning objects in enabling and enhancing learning. Firstly, learning objects are defined and the evolution of the learning object movement is explored. Then the need for learning objects is considered and the attributes or characteristics of learning objects are examined. The structure of learning content and the issue of granularity is also investigated. Finally, the benefits and risks associated with adopting a learning object approach are considered and learning object repositories are investigated.

Granulometric, Heavy mineral and Field studies of the Lokoja Bassanga and Fugar Sandstone outcrop sequences on the Benin Flank of the Anambra Basin, Southeastern Nigeria
Field study of Basaanga and Fugar Sandstone was embarked upon in order to determine lithostratigraphy profile, their relationship and laboratory studies including granulometric, heavy mineral, and petrographic analysis. The research studies were aimed towards understudying stratigraphic stacking pattern, textural parameters such as grain size, sorting, transportation history, paleoenvironment of deposition and provenance. The Bassanga Sandstone revealed angular grained basal conglomerate deposited on basement rock by flash flood (fluvial) processes deposited close to the source; overlain by fining-upward sequence in cyclic manner with azimuth of ~2500 paleocurrent direction. Laboratory data deductions show that the average grain size (-0.05 to 2.67 ?) vary from fine to coarse; sorting (0.18 to 0.86) varies from moderately sorted through moderately well sorted to very well sorted; skewness (0.16 to 4.15) varies from fine to strongly fine skewed. ZTR index (10.0 to 43.2%) from heavy mineral study suggests submature to matured sediment while thin section analysis shows texturally and compositionally mature to sub-mature sublitharenite tending strongly to quartzarenitic rock. The Bassanga sediments were transported by southwest paleocurrent and deposited in fluvial setting. However, Fugar Sandstone is fine grained (2.14-2.98?), herringbone structured, fairly bioturbated unit deposited in marginal marine environment; very well sorted (0.18 to 0.28), and strongly fine skewed (2.78-4.5). ZTR index varies from 35.9-50.0% suggestive of mineralogically immature sediments sourced from metamorphic rock (NW) and deposited by paleocurrent in southeasterly direction.

Efficient Ratio-Cum Product Estimator using Stratified Ranked Set Sampling
This paper proposed a modified ratio-cum-product estimators of finite population mean using information on coefficient of variation and co-efficient of kurtosis of auxiliary variable in Stratified Ranked Set Sampling (SRSS). It has been shown that this method is highly beneficial to the estimation based on Stratified Simple Random Sampling (SSRS). The bias and mean squared error of the proposed estimators are derived. Theoretically, it is shown that these suggested estimators are more efficient than the estimators in Stratified simple random sampling. The results have been illustrated by numerical examples.
