The effects of distributed generation in the Nigerian North East zone is discussed in this paper. DG capacity installation in the power system was modelled using NEPLAN software. Network loss reduction, reduction in transmission line losses and congestion as well as voltage profile improvement for the nodes of the network were some of the observed advantages in the results.

Bringing the concepts of narratology and optional shifts together, the present research elaborated on Iran-Iraq War’s translated narration through a case study of a novel on this war. We analyzed the English translation of the Persian novel, Journey to Heading 270 Degrees, to examine how Iran-Iraq War narratives were translated and if and how the different narration of the translator affected the narratological aspect of the source narrative. To this end, Pekkanen (2010)’s model was applied to explore into the formal dissimilarities between the source text and the target text at the micro-textual level through a linguistic comparative analysis aimed at identifying optional shifts. Optional shifts were then categorized and the most frequent optional shifts, which made a pattern in the translated text, were identified. As the final step, the narratological aspect(s) were studied in the light of the optional shifts. Our analysis revealed that the optional shift of expansion-additions which were the most frequent shift type with 203 instances, contraction-deletions with 112 instances, and optional shifts of miscellaneous cases with 36 instances affected the degree of the specification as a narratological aspect in this study.

Dwarf varieties of Helianthus annuus, Tagetes erecta, T.Patula and other plants belonging to Asteraceae are cultivated as ornamental garden plants in Nepal and India. Leaf spots and blight, downy mildew, mycoflora of floral parts, collar rot, Necrosis, charcoal rot and other of Asteraceae already reported. Leaf spots caused by the pathogen Albugo spp. bring 12% loss in productively. Akoijam & chandel (2010), Bhatia et.al (2005), Biga(1955), chander (2003), Dube (1985), chavhan et.al (2008), kumar & Dewivedi (1981), Kulkarni et.al (2007), Lakhmod et.al (2007&2007), Mayee & Datur (1986), Pandey & Tewari (2017), Singh et.al (1999), Kulkarni et.al(2007), Singh et.al (1999), Singh (1980) , Sinha (2011), Suryawanshi et.al (2015) & Thirumalachar et.al (1949) have well studied Asteraceae and possible pathogens in their own ways.

Macro benthic invertebrates are an important and integral part of any aquatic ecosystem as they form the basis of the tropic level and any negative effects caused by pollution in the community structure can in turn affect tropic relationships. These can include those that feed on them directly or indirectly such as fish and bird populations, respectively. In addition, aquatic invertebrates have the ability to clean rivers as they utilize the organic and detritus matter. According to Carlisle etal., 2007 macro-invertebrate populations in streams and rivers can assist in the assessment of the overall health of the stream. During the present Survey of at Mansarovar talab 32 species of Macro invertebrates were recorded which belong to represented 11(eleven) species of oligochaeta, 2(two) species of Hirudinea (Leeches), 8 (eight) species of Gastropoda, 3 (three) species of pelecypoda (Bivalvia), 4 (four) species of insect 2 (two) species of ostracoda and 2 (two) species of Branchiopoda. The Present study was carried out at Mansarovar Talab of Jeerapura, Dhar (M.P.) during a Jun 2014-July 2015.

In this work, a class of new computational methods for solution of variable coefficients partial differential equation was developed at step numbers j = 2; resulting into a Trapezoidal rule spectral based computational scheme as reported in Lambert (1973). The accuracy, consistency, stability and convergence properties of these methods were determined. The methods were implemented on some sampled problems that involve both constant and, variable coefficients parabolic partial differential equations; and evaluated by comparing them with some existing difference methods. The results obtained are found to be more rapidly converging as the step lengths h and k approaches zeros. This work provides better alternative numerical solutions to a class of dynamical problems having time dependent boundary conditions. Higher ordered parabolic partial differential equations with defined theoretical solutions to given boundary conditions can be solved directly using this method. 

The overriding problem with analyzing unbalanced data which leads to heteroscedasity models is that many methods are available and deciding between them can be a matter of some difficulty. Heteroscedasticity is a problem because ordinary least squares (OLS) in regression assumes that all residuals are drawn from a population that has a constant variance (homoscedasticity). When conditional heteroscedasticity is present, the practice of reweighting the data has long been abandoned in favor of estimating model parameters by ordinary OLS, in conjunction with using heteroscedasticity consistent standard errors. However, we argue for reintroducing the practice of reweighting the data, since doing so can lead to large efficiency gains of the resulting weighted least squares WLS estimator over OLS even when the model for reweighting the data is misspecified. The idea is that, the estimator can also be accompanied by the help of type of proportionality condition on cell sample size using harmonic mean. Special emphasis is given to nested model and on the unbalancedness in the data due to heterogeneity in the environmental conditions of experiments. Estimators of the parameters for this model are found to be independent of the weights under this condition.

A field experiment was conducted to evaluate the influence of organic fertilizer application in the production of organic onion. The study was conducted in a fully converted organic field at CLSU RM-CARES using the following treatment; treatment 1 was the control or no fertilizer, treatment 2 was the organic fertilizer at 8 t/ha applied before transplanting, treatment 3 was the vermicast at 8 t/ha applied before transplanting, treatment 4 was combined organic fertilizer and vermicast at the same rate of 4 t/ha applied before transplanting, and the treatment 5 was combine organic fertilizer at 4 t/ha and vermicast at 4 t/ha, half of each fertilizer material was applied before transplanting and another half was applied 30 days after transplanting. Results revealed that combined organic fertilizer vermicast application as biofertilizer had no influence on the diameter size and weight of individual bulb after harvest. However, application of combined organic fertilizer and vermicast at the rate of 4 t/ha of each fertilizer materials applied before transplanting significantly increased the production of marketable bulb, yield per plot and computed yield per hectare. On the other hand, nitrogen and phosphorus uptake of onion was observed a comparable results to all fertilizers applied. Moreover, plants fertilized with combined organic fertilizer and vermicast at the same rate of 4 t/ha each of fertilizer materials applied before transplanting significantly obtained the highest potassium uptake with 2.36 t/ha . Follow up studies on the effect on growth and yield of combined fertilizer material should be conducted to confirm and further explain our findings.

The new Trade Practice and Consumer Protection Proclamation of Ethiopia come into effect in Ethiopia in August 2010 i.e. Proclamation No. 685/2010. Therefore, that, after three years of the effective period, Proclamation No. 813/2013 repealed it. The Trade Practice and Consumer Protection Authority is the regulatory body, which also has a judicial mandate, oversees the implementation of the law. The law regulates trade practices by protecting businesses from anti-competitive and unfair trade practices to ensure a competitive business environment. Henceforth, this research analyses the effectiveness of these two proclamations since their ultimate goal is to secure the healthiest trade environment in the territorial hemisphere of Ethiopia. On the other side, since the two laws have their own positive impact on the economy of the country, substantially this research gives due consideration for the empirical effect of these two proclamations extraordinarily in the Eastern Zone of Tigray.

The noninfectious disease, diabetes increases the risk of the infectious disease TB. In developing countries TB remains a major cause of mortality and in these countries the prevalence rate of diabetes in increasing rapidly. In this study, totally 1200 number of TB clinic attendees were included and blindly screened for the diabetes. Random blood sugar was checked for the selected population. Blood samples were tested by glucometer. Out of 1200 TB clinic attendees, diabetes was diagnosed with 750 patients (63%). From our study, we conclude that the TB clinic attendees are at high risk and showing high percentage of DM. We also suggest that the danger of the co-existence of TB and DM should be explored and to be taught to the society especially to the TB clinic attendees to ensure the effective treatment.

Organizations came to the realization that it is not economically feasible to maintain the increasing maintenance costs of maintaining data centers with large floor space. One of the main concerns associated with Cloud Computing is the security of the service is that sensitive and important data is no longer only under the control of the data owner as the service provider also has access to that data. In terms of the methodological approach used by this thesis, this thesis will utilize the use of the qualitative method in answering the research questions posed by this thesis. The systematic literature review has shown that there are novel and innovative ways for organizations to mitigate the inherent risks associated with the use of cloud computing.
