Globalisation, urbanisation and construction are unstoppable in nature and so are the risks associated with construction. Construction in 21st century demand timely completion and has pressure on the stakeholders to mitigate the risks during and after the construction project. Survey was conducted globally for the assessment of impact of construction documents and records on project management. 103 responses were recorded from Qatar, U.A.E., U.S., Kenya and many cities of India. It can be briefed that documentation and record keeping should be an integrated part of the respective firm in order to avoid time overrun, and cost overrun. Efficient recordkeeping and documentation help for management of risk related to process, legal, material, quality and at same time are supportive for better decision making leading sustainability in project management.

The study focused on the design of an acoustic enclosure for 12.5 kVA diesel generator with an objective to minimize the noise level to a moderately loud sound level. Factors which affect noise reduction and heat management were considered. The study revealed that the loss in transmitted sound amounted to 20dB from the initial 95dB without an enclosure, with the insertion loss being 48.6%. The analysis of the transfer of the sound wave revealed that the frequency of the incident wave was lower than the critical frequency of the enclosure, this signifies that the enclosure will not resonate during operation. The heat generated within enclosure is 19280.806kW and this will cause the maximum temperature of the cylinder head to be exceeded. To avert this, acoustic holes where designed to allow a mass flow rate of 0.57kg/sec of air to pass through the enclosure, conducting the excess heat away.

In-service teacher professional development includes a wide variety of programs designed to promote and support the professional learning of teachers who are already employed and working in classrooms. The goal of in-service professional development is to improve the knowledge, skills, and commitments of teachers so that they are more effective in planning lessons, teaching, assessing students’ learning, and undertaking other responsibilities in the school community. Achieving this goal is critical because the teacher’s role is one of the most important factors contributing to high-quality education and successful student learning.

In this analysis, the viscous dissipation and heat source effects on free convective boundary layer slip flow due to induced magnetic field is studied. The governing partial differential equations are converted into ordinary differential equations by using the similarity transformations. In which the coupled non linear differential equations are solved by using regular perturbation technique. The effects of various parameters on the velocity, temperature, induced magnetic field and also the local skin friction, the rate of heat transfer are presented through graphically and tabulated values in detailed.

This paper serves as a platform to discuss and bring out the concept of kernel, separation axiom and continuity of ?gb+ and ?gb+ -closed sets, under the light of simple extension topological spaces.

The study was conducted on the morphological aspects such as shell shape and shell dimensions of freshwater snails Bellamya dissimilis and Lymnaea acuminata. The shell of B. dissimilis is globular in shape with broad ovate mouth and 4-5 whirls that are dextrally rotated. Shell length and shell width ranges from 2.3-3.9cm and 3.2-5.9cm respectively. Snail B. dissimilis gives birth to a large number (120-130) of fully developed young ones measures up to 0.2-0.5cm in length. The shell of L. acuminata is tapering conical with 3-5 whorls that end in dextral opening of shell. Shell length and shell width ranges from 1.2-2.7cm and 1.9-3.5cm respectively. The snail is hermaphrodite and breeds almost throughout the year, this snail contains the egg clutches and each egg clutch contains 170-180 eggs.

Phytoplanktons are primary producer of the aquatic ecosystem and constitute the base of food chain in any aquatic ecosystem. The qualitative and quantitative fluctuation of phytoplankton has a great effect on the aquatic life. The present region of Hardwar lies between approximately between approximately latitude 29º58' North and longitude at 78º13’ East. There are six aquatic bodies have been selected for study because all of the study areas are situated along the Ganga river bank and due to anthropogenic activities they were heavily polluted .Phytoplankton were observed in the first and third week of each month for two years for six different study areas. It was recorded that phytoplankton found in River Ganga mainly consisted of Bacillariophyceae, Chlorophyceae and Cyanophyceae. It was recorded that phytoplankton were maximum in winters and minimum in monsoon period almost in every study areas.

The last 15 years of post-conflict activities in Liberia had witnessed series of struggles for sustainable peace and democratic system due to mis-conduct in governance that has become barrier to the peace and security of Liberians. This study examines and analyses issues on post-conflict peacebuilding and democratic governance from1997 to 2012 in Liberia. Internet explorations, magazines, newspaper cut-out, books and journals were the instruments of data collection. Improperly disarmed, demobilised, rehabilitated and reintegrated of the ex-combatants and displaced populations coupled with different scales of human suffering and rights violation, corrupt practices, absence of true democratic governance, sustainable economy plans, etc. were identified as factors that proliferated insecurity across the country. Failure of government to impact democratically on social system metamorphosed into different agitations and protests. Poor visionary and committed leaders were attributed to the parlous state of post-conflict situations to the extent that citizens found it difficult to vote for any candidates due to lack of trust and confidence building. Suggestions for sustainable peace and true democratic practices were proffered.

This study was conducted to evaluation of satisfaction with using Sheliver cleansing distilled product in fatty liver patients. A validated questionnaire for fatty liver disease was utilized to assess for a relationship between using Sheliver liver cleanser distilled with disease remission. A total of 120 patients responded to the questionnaire. This herbal medication included extract of Borago officinalis, Taraxacum officirale, Silybum marianum, Cynara scoolymus etc and produced by Parsiteb Company. Consumption of this product is 100 ml per day. According to questionnaire it was determined that, 78%, patients showed Satisfaction in relation to appearance and packaging of product and medication effect value. 67% of patients had “good” answer about satisfaction of healing period, but one of the things that patients were dissatisfied with the product price. According to our results and patients, Sheliver product made by Parsiteb Company is the best choice for fatty liver disease in compare to chemical medications.Key words: Fatty liver, Sheliver , questionnaire

Studies on the physico-chemical properties and selected heavy metal profiles namely; Temperature, pH, Dissolved oxygen (DO), Total suspended solids (TSS), Total dissolved solids (TDS), Turbidity, hardness, Nitrate (NO-3), Chloride (Cl-), salinity and Cadmium (Cd), Lead (Pb), Manganese (Mn), Chromium (Cr), Nickel (Ni) and Zinc (Zn) in the water of Woji Creek respectively were investigated. Samples of the water were collected from five sampling stations along the creek on a monthly basis, for twelve months (October, 2012-September, 2013). Water samples were collected at 4-5cm depth below the water surface using clean, well-labelled 50cl plastic bottles and taken to the laboratory for further analysis. The metals in the water were extracted and their concentrations determined by flame Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometry, (AAS). The mean total values for the physico-chemistry were as follows: Temperature 28.1±0.140C, pH 6.95±0.01, DO 2.72±0.1, TSS 8.23±0.81,TDS 5432.027±401.23, Turbidity 6.042±0.0.20, hardness 4158.40±342.80, Nitrate 4.268±0.40, Chloride 8790.143±693.38 and Salinity 7.36±0.30. The mean total dissolved solids (TDS), hardness and chloride levels were very high and above the permissible limits recommended by the World Health Organisation (WHO). The mean total values for TDS, hardness and chloride were 5432.027mg/l, 4158.400mg/l and 8790.143mg/l respectively. The mean total Dissolved Oxygen (DO) level (2.720mg/l) was low and well below the permissible limits according to WHO. The mean total concentrations of Cd (0.002mg/l), Mn(0.026mg/l), Ni(0.059mg/l) and Zn(0.009mg/l) in the water were within the permissible limits as recommended by Federal Environmental Protection Agency (FEPA)(1991) and U.S.Environmental Protection Agency, (USEPA) (1986), while those of Cr(0.408mg/l) and Pb (0.163mg/l) were higher than the permissible limits. The presence of these pollutants in the water indicates that the water is polluted and under stress. Fish from this creek are therefore not very safe for human consumption. Bioremediation and regular monitoring of the water body in order to restore and maintain the water quality of the creek and ensure the safety of the organisms for human consumption is recommended.
