This study tried to investigate how Persian translators manipulate children’s literary texts in translation. To the purpose of this study, the researcher chose the model presented by Lambert and Van Gorp (1985) which was used for the comparison of ST and TT literary system and the description of relations within them. The researcher applied the model to the translation of children’s literature and presented a description of how translators might manipulate the original text in translation. To this purpose the first two sections of the model, preliminary and macro-level data, were selected and applied in the available Persian translations of the children novel Anne of Green Gables (1908). The results showed that the three Persian translations of the novel, translated by Hefazi, Modarres and Ghadiani, included some manipulations at different parts of the novel. They made changes in translating the title of the novel, titles of the chapters, and the way of punctuating; they added metatexts to the translations in the shapes of footnotes and prefaces or even omitted some parts of the novel. These manipulations, whether recognizable by reading the translation alone or along with the original novel, led to a more visible status of the translators.

In determining meat yield and sensory attributes of 12 weeks old guinea keets, ninety guinea fowl keets (Numida meleagris) at one-week old and of equal weights were fed conventional diet based on maize, sesame and groundnut meals (210.4 gkg-1 crude protein and 11.95 mJKg-1 ME) up to 12 weeks of age, then their meat parts yield, skin colour measurements and sensory characteristics were determined. The dressing percentage gave a mean value of 68.28, while the mean carcass parts yield showed he highest relative weights for the breast (28.1) followed by the back and neck (27.9), drum sticks and thighs (27.54) and the lowest for the wings (14.86). Hunter guinea fowl’s skin colour measurements showed higher values, coinciding with the observed dark dressed carcass skin colour. Sensory properties scores for the tasted attributes showed that guinea meat have slightly desirable colour, moderately desirable flavor with moderate juiciness and tenderness.

In recent days, the Fiber Reinforced Composites have replaced many of the engineering components and the composite material manufacturing area is experiencing substantial growth. FRC’s also have replaced materials used in the civil construction area, sporting goods, automobile and aircraft parts, and boat and ship hulls. The composites in general, offer many advantages over homogenous materials like high strength to weight ratio, less weight, flexibility in design, structural and dimensional stability, corrosion and wear resistance along with low tooling cost. Because of the anisotropy in nature, machining composite materials is a complex process especially operations involved in in drilling and milling. Therefore, dry drilling operation on composite materials affects the performance of the drill tool. Hence the present investigation focusses on the study of effect of the machining parameters such as spindle speed (1200, 1500 and 1800 rpm), feed rate (0.1, 0.2 and 0.3 mm/rev), drill diameter (6, 8 and 10mm) on HSS drill tool wear in the drilling of Glass Fiber Reinforced Polyester (GFRP) composites. The present work also aims to optimize the machining parameters in drilling to get minimum flank tool wear. The experiment is designed using full factorial design of experiments. Measure of land width was used to assess the Flank wear of HSS drill. The process parameters are optimized to reduce the tool wear using Response Surface Methodology (RSM). Mathematical model was generated by through regression analysis by developing a Regression equation for flank wear of HSS drill.

In this study, corporate law will be discussed based on the interests of shareholders and creditors. We hypothesized that, based on the reason-based choice of maximization of corporate value by reputation, the use of the Nudge does not eliminate the inefficiencies caused by increased transaction costs for interest adjustment. Conventional financial evaluation is treated as a separate index. In addition, we assume high transaction costs for the interest adjustment of shareholders and creditors. However, it is possible to set forth the same goal of creating corporate value by reputation, suggesting the possibility that conflicts of interest eventually subside. In addition, we want to develop the idea of interest adjustment of parties as reciprocal altruism through behavioral economics.

In recent times, among of the major problems in oil palm plantations is the lack of proper interpretation of yield maps for site-specific management. The ability to determine and diagnose leaf factors that influencing yield variability of oil palm will benefits in managing the plantation for better yield. A study on spatial variability of N, P, K, Mg and Ca in oil palm leaf was carried out at the Dusun Durian Estate of Golden Hope Plantations Berhad in Selangor, Malaysia. The aim of this study is to obtain accurate and timely information on the spatial distribution and status of N, P, K, Mg and Ca in leaf using semivariogram analysis and geographical information system (GIS), and its correlation to oil palm fresh fruit bunch (FFB) yield. The collection of leaf tissue data was conducted using systematic sampling. A GPS device (AgGPS Trimble) was used to precisely determine samples locations. Geostatistics software and classical statistics were used for data analysis. Correlation analysis was used to determine the strength of the relationship between nutrient content in leaf tissue and FFB yield. From kriged map, results indicate that about 32.2% of the area is low in yield, 51.6% is moderate and 16.2% is high in yield, respectively. Correlation analyses shown the total of N and available of P in the leaf have strong positive relationship (r2 = 0.84 and 0.83) with FFB yields. Thus, result implies that N and P in leaf tissue can be used to determine the FFB yields for oil palm production.

Plastination is a technique for the preservation of human and animal tissues of body parts for teaching and research. it used more than 40 medical and dental colleges in throughout the world. The plastinated specimens are more use full in the field of anatomy, pathology and surgery and all so the plastinated specimens can be displayed in all museums for the public. A three dimensional eco-epidemiological model consisting of prey, susceptible predator, infected predator species, is proposed and analyzed in the present work. From infected predator, the disease is transmitted to the susceptible predator species. Differential predation rate is considered due to disease in predator as the infection reduces the predation ability of infected predator. The recovery of infected predator from disease is incorporated; therefore, an SIS model is taken for predator species. The dynamics of the system is analyzed mathematically and conditions for existence and stability of disease free equilibrium point has been found out. Also conditions for disease to be endemic in predator species are obtained. Numerical simulations have been carried out to justify the results obtained.
