Intrusion Detection System (IDS) has been used as a vital instrument in defending the network from this malicious activity. With the ability to analyze network traffic and recognize incoming and on- going network attack, majority of network administrator has turn to IDS to help them in detecting anomalies in network traffic. The gathering of information and analysis on the anomalies activity can be classified into fast and slow attack. Since fast attack activity make a connection in few second and uses a large amount of packet, detecting this early connection provide the administrator one step ahead in deflecting further damages towards the network infrastructure. This paper describes IDS that detects fast attack intrusion using time based detection method. The time based detection method calculates the statistic of the frequency event which occurs between one second time intervals for each connection made to a host thus providing the crucial information in detecting fast attack.

Overview of root system may clarify some aspects of breeding crops under saline stress condition. In an experiment studied 8 genotypes of wheat (spring cultivars) consist of Quds, Shiraz, Sorkh-Tokhm, Sistani, Mahooti, Falat, Bam and Arg at 3 levels of salinity stress with six replications. The present work, conducted in green-house of Zanjan University in the process of constant condition (T=27±2 °C, L:D= 16:8, RH=60±5 %) in 2011. Variation of few root attributes such as, Shoot Dry Weight (SDW), Root Dry Weight (RDW), the Ratio of Root Dry Weight /Shoot Dry Weight (R/S), Root Area (RA), Root Volume (RV), Root Area Per Volume (RAPV), Root Density (RD), the Average of Root Diameter (ARD), Root Area Index (RAI), Special Root Area (SRA), Root Area Density (RAD), Root Volume Ratio (RVR), and Specific Root Mass (SRM) evaluated before pollination step. The results showed that Sistani and Sorkh-tokhm Genotype Showed Highest resistance in compare to other cultivars. Therefore, selection and breeding traits on wheat would be possible to find the more consequential types for further crop products.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the influence of transformational leadership by head teachers in Sotik Sub County and its relationship to teacher job satisfaction. This study was conceived after the realization that there had been increased cases of teacher attrition (transfers and resignation) in the past three years. For example, teachers’ transfers had been increasing by 5.2 percent annually while teachers resigning from their jobs had been on a steady increase. The objectives of the study were to establish the extent to which head teachers apply intellectual stimulation approaches and individualized consideration, on teachers’ job satisfaction in Sotik Sub County primary schools. The theoretical framework for this study was based on transformational leadership theory developed by Burns (1978) and elaborated by Bass (1985). The study adopted an ex post facto and descriptive survey research designs. The study was conducted in Sotik Sub County, Sotik County. The target population for the study comprised of 52 head teachers and 667 teachers employed by TSC. The sample size studied comprised of 16 head teachers who were purposively selected and 200 teachers who were selected using stratified and simple random sampling methods. The study collected data using revised MLQ and MSQ questionnaires by Bass and Avolio (1997). The research instruments were tested for validity and reliability prior to being used in the field. The data collected from the field was analyzed using mixed method approaches. Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS Version 20) aided in data entry, coding and analysis of quantitative data from questionnaires. In presenting analysed quantitative data, descriptive statistics indicating frequency, percentages, means, and standard deviations were executed to analyze the data quantitatively while inferential statistics: multiple regression analysis and T-test correlation were used to check on the relationship between various transformational leadership strategies and teachers job satisfaction. For qualitative data, themes and sub-themes were used to classify data from interviews. Tables, graphs and pie charts were used for presentation of the analyzed data. The results of the study showed that 58.3% of teachers’ job satisfaction was explained by transformational leadership style exhibited by head teachers in public primary schools in Sotik Sub County. Correlation results on the independent variables showed that there was significant correlation (p<0.01) between; individualised consideration (r=0.613), and intellectual stimulation (r=0.735) and job satisfaction of teachers. The study recommends that head teachers should be role models, they need to be ensuring effective communication between them and teachers, they need to provide and articulate clear vision to teachers and support continuous professional development programmes for teachers in their schools. The study is significant to head teachers, teachers, school board of management, and Ministry of Education and future researchers.

This study was conducted to evaluation of different formulations of Betanal Progress OF herbicide on weeds control of sugar beet field. The experimental design was factorial on the basis of randomized complete block with four replications. Treatments consisted of four different formulations of the herbicide Betanal Progress F (Iranian, Spanish, German and Chinese) with four different doses (3, 4, 4.5 and 5 liters per hectare). Evaluated traits included frequency of weed and dry weight at 15 and 30 days after spraying. Result showed that German formulation and 4.5 liter per ha Betanal Progress F had highest weed control at sugar beet field.

In this paper, the new extended -expansion method is used for constructing the new exact traveling wave solutions of nonlinear evolution equations arising in mathematical physics namely, the (2+1)-dimensional modified Zakharov-Kuznetsov equation. As a result, the traveling wave solutions are expressed in terms of hyperbolic, trigonometric and rational functions. Moreover, these methods could be more effectively used to deal with higher dimensional and higher order nonlinear evolution equations which frequently arise in many scientific real time application fields. It is shown that the method provides a powerful mathematical tool for solving nonlinear wave equations in applied mathematics, mathematical physics and engineering problems.

This paper attempted to explore vocabulary learning strategy use by English Translation students. It also aimed at studying the participants’ level of creativity. Moreover, it attempted to investigate the relationship between students’ vocabulary learning strategy use and creativity. In addition, it tried to examine the impact of students’ level of education and gender on the relationship between their vocabulary learning strategy use and creativity. Sixty four English Translation students took part in the study. The vocabulary learning strategy questionnaire (Jones, 2006) was utilized to investigate the participants’ vocabulary learning strategy use. In order to measure their creativity level, Torrance test of creative thinking (Torrance, 1999) was administered. It was explored that dictionary and social strategies were reported as the most frequent strategies utilized by all students and study preferences were the least frequent ones. The result also showed that the participants displayed a low level of creativity. Their creativity level had no significant relationship with their vocabulary learning strategies except for the guessing strategies (r= .282, P< 0.05). Freshmen and seniors’ level of education did not affect the relationship between the two variables while junior students displayed a significant impact on the relationship between creativity and vocabulary learning strategy use with respect to guessing strategies. Finally, it was explored that gender affected their relationship with regard to guessing strategies and social strategies for females and males, respectively.

The proposed concept of Fpga based design and Implementation of image Architecture Using Xilinx System generator. Recent advances in synthesis tools for SIMULINK suggest a feasible high-level approach to algorithm implementation for embedded DSP systems. An efficient FPGA based hardware design for enhancement of color and grey scale images in image and video processing. The top model – based visual development process of SIMULINK facilitates host side simulation and validation, as well as synthesis of target specific code, furthermore, legacy code written in MATLAB or ANCI C can be reuse in custom blocks. However, the code generated for DSP platforms is often not very efficient. We are implemented the Image processing applications on FPGA it can be easily design.

Effect of glass grid as high tensile strength layer in rigid pavements /runways has been studies using model slabs of low slump value and high strength concrete M40 (40N/mm2) with flexural strength of 4.4 N/ mm2,desighned for 1800kg gross load with 1200 repetition casted over the same sub grade on which runways was to be reconstructed .The slabs after subjected to loads shows that there occurs least number of cracks with less width and propagate to lesser depths and non –continues in nature by the use of glass grids as secondary reinforcement also there is considerable arrest of reflective cracks in case of rigid overlays over cracked pavement.

The global electrical energy consumption is rising and there is a steady increase of the demand on the power capacity, efficient production, distribution and utilization of energy. Power electronics, the technology of efficiently processing electric power, play an essential part in the integration of the dispersed generating stations for higher efficiency and better performance of the power systems. This project deals with the simulation of grid connected inverter for Photovoltaic applications. Space vector pulse width modulation (SVPWM) technique has been adopted for generating pulses for the two level inverter. The entire system comprising of Photovoltaic array (PVA) and two level inverter has been developed in Mat lab-Simulink. The PVA model characteristics including the effects of temperature and solar irradiation change on maximum power point are also presented in this paper. The inverter output has been synchronized with the grid using d-q theory and the power flow is controlled at 200kw. Finally, the inverter has been tested in grid connected mode.

The present study intends to evaluate the haematological parameters among the rural population of Vaijapur tehsil. During a period of four months i.e. June 2011 to September 2011.During this period of four month total number of 800 samples was examined for Haemoglobin deficiency (Anaemia), out of which 381 samples of male and 419 samples of female of different age groups. The percentage being about 65.09% and 84% in both male and female population were anaemic in rural population of Vaijapur tehsil.
