Impact of Financial Leverage on Profitability of Automobile and Allied Companies of Pakistan
Financial leverage is an index of how much company uses equity and debt to finance their cash-flow and improving the financial condition of the company. The objective of this study is to empirically investigate the relationship between the leverage and profitability of 13 Automobiles and allied companies listed on Karachi Stock Exchange companies from year 2010 to 2014. A Cross sectional random effect estimation for the dependent and independent variables were carried out in order to understand the direction of the impact between them. The results indicated a negative correlation between the leverage and profitability for automobile and allied companies of Pakistan.

Implementation of blind adaptive filtering using VLSI technology
We are living in a very congested world where there are more and more vehicles. The noise and interference produced by these vehicles are enormous and their unwanted amplification of noise causes irritation. We aim to present a blind technique, enhancing speech, attenuating any kind of noise, by designing an adaptive filter depending on the nature of noise. The differentiation between speech and noise is made. This characteristic is used to derive a cost functional for speech enhancement. Adaptation is by changing two sets of weights. The simulation and synthesis of the above technique/algorithm is implemented using Verilogger pro and Leonardo spectrum.

Implementation strategies of the re-entry policy of teenage mothers to school in Bungoma County. Kenya.
The Kenyan government developed the policy of the re-entry of the teenage mothers to school in 2001. The policy allows teenage mothers to re-enter schools after delivery. Despite the policy being in place, very few teenage mothers have been returning to school. This study sought to assess the implementation strategies of the re-entry policy of teenage mothers to school in Bungoma County. The main objective of the study was to assess the implementation strategies of the re-entry policy of teenage mother to schools in Bungoma County. The critical theory by Habernes was adopted as the theoretical framework. The convergent parallel mixed method research design was used. The research population comprised of teenage mothers, student girls, head teachers, principals, Guiding and Counselling teachers, Sub County Quality Assurance and Standards Officers. The main data collection instruments were Questionnaires and Interview schedules. Questionnaires were administered to the Teenage mothers, school girls, Guidance and counselling teachers, while the interview schedule were administered to Sub County Quality Assurance and Standards Officers and head teachers. Pilot study was carried out in Trans Nzoia County. Reliability index of 0.79 was obtained. Quantitative data was coded and presented using tables and analyzed through frequency distribution and percentages. Qualitative data was organized and broken into themes synthesized to search for patterns and meaning. This study was significant for it identified various strategies that are used in implementation of the re-entry policy. The study revealed that there are a number of strategies that are used in articulating the policy, support that are given to the teenage mothers and the enforcement of the policy. There is need to harmonise the implementation strategies so that the various stakeholders are reading form the same script.

Information and communications technology (ICT) adoption and Nigerian banks performance
The use of ICT in the banking industry is now a global phenomenon. For over a decade now, Nigerian banks have imbibed ICT culture. Hitherto financial and business transaction in Nigeria is largely cash based. This study examines the role of ICT in banking operational activities, appraise the impact of ICT on the sectors performance, determine the level of customers’ satisfaction and identify the problems with the use of ICT. It was found that ICT devices is knowledge driven process, and the procedure calls for certain level of literacy and training; but greed, ignorance, low moral value and unethical behavior have been responsible for fraud and abuses that underpin the success of ICT devices. Graphs from time Series analysis showed the performances of the 24 recapitalized Nigeria banks on pre and post ICT mass deployment basis and it was discovered that performance has not dramatically improved as expected, though better. This means a lot of work should be done on public mass enlightenment, intensification of training on ICT, moral value and ethical behavior for banks staff and hiring of dedicated people in the banking industry. Also there is a need to intensify research and development work on engineering and reengineering of soft and hardware, especially in a consortium and partnership between Banks, Academic and Research Institutions that will create a synergy effect and beneficial symbiotic relationship in ICT training and performance otherwise investment on ICT capital will be a drain.

Investigation of baffle spacing effect on shell side heat transfer characteristics in shell and tube heat exchanger using computational fluid dynamics
Three-dimensional CFD simulations are carried out to evaluate the effect of baffle spacing on heat transfer and fluid flow characteristics of a single phase, single pass and 35% baffle cut, single segmental baffled Shell and Tube Heat Exchanger. Shell and tube heat exchanger is the most common type of heat exchanger and widely use in oil refinery and other large chemical processes because it is suitable for high pressure application. The processes in analyzing the simulation consist of modelling (SolidWorks 2012) and meshing (HyperMesh11). Then, the boundary condition will be set before been simulate in ANSYS Fluent version 6.3 based on the experimental parameters. The variation in Shell side Outlet temperature (K), Heat transfer coefficient (W/m2K), Shell side Pressure drop (Pa) and Total transfer rate (W) are measured for different Baffle spacing Bc and for different mass flow rate Kg/s. The sensitivity of the shell side heat transfer characteristics are analysed and concluded.

Leveraging & Integrating CSR with Talent Management (TM)
In the competitive market place, organizations are fighting battles on all fronts i.e., building & retaining market share, stakeholder satisfaction and more importantly recruiting & retaining best talent. The talent in modern era is well informed and have high aspirations. Organizations are finding it difficult to attract and retain talent be it on compensation and career growths. It is here that Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) comes into play for organizations to leverage upon. CSR provides an opportunity for the organization to differentiate itself from the competition. Organizations have adopted different connotations of Talent management. While some of the looked at only the Hi-Performers as the talent, and in cases of other organizations, they consider all the employees associated with the organization as Talent and accordingly design and offer Talent Pool offerings customized to respective talent pools. This research paper looks as to who organizations can integrate and leverage both CSR and Talent Management Initiatives, so that it could be result in multiple pay-off such as connecting with & serving community through the employees and in the process win over both the segments.
