Biological exopolysaccharide producers in subterranean termite gut
Subterranean termites Odontotermes sp. and Trinervieus sp. modify the soil properties through their mound- building activities, subterranean galleries, storage chambers, aggregate formation, aeration, organic content and soil fertility. Gut of subterranean termites are structured habitats with numerous microniches created by a combination of host and microbial activities with rich population of diazotrophs. The Azotobacter isolates of Odontotermes sp. and Trinervieus sp. worker caste showed a positive response in the production of enzyme dehydrogenase and biological exopolysaccharide. Biological exopolysaccharide producers influence soil quality cum plant growth increasing agricultural productivity.

Characterization of the ethanolic extract of Randiaaccuminata (OKOK-EDI) stem using FTIR spectrophotometer
Characterization of the ethanolic extract of Randiaaccuminata stem (chewing stick) was carried out using Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) Spectrophotometer. The result of the analysis showed that the stem of Randiaaccuminata contain primary and secondary amines, aliphatic amine, alkyl halide, aromatic amine, nitro compounds, alkyne, alkanes, chloride and fluoride ions. The chloride and fluoride ions present in this plant is responsible for its cleaning property. It also prevents tooth decay, remove tooth stain, eliminates tooth aches and also promote cleaner teeth.

Lyme Carditis: From a Third Degree Heart Block to a Complete Remission
Cardiac evidence of Lyme disease are relatively infrequent, occurring within weeks after the infectious tick bite (median of 21 days), and resulting at this stage from a direct borrelial infection of the myocardium, as indicated by reports of spirochete isolation from pericardium and myocardium. Lyme carditis typically presents with a fluctuating degree of atrioventricular block that spontaneously resolves in several days. The management of Lyme carditis does not differ from the treatment of Lyme disease without carditis.

Physical exercise reduces depression and mental oscillation of children and adolescent in the Midnapore district of West Bengal
Physical exercise provide immense help in assisting an individual to seek his all round growth and development in all the personal dimensions including the union of his self with the greater soul. Physical exercise is based on philosophy that is practical and for our day to day living. Physical exercise produces desirable physiological changes and has sound scientific basis. Physical exercise is the only technique through which the body of any human being can be healthy without any trainer, equipment and medicine. Thus, my purpose of this paper makes an attempt to analyse the role and importance of physical exercise in modern times of 21st Century as well as its effect on human being in this contemporary times. Physical exercise influences cognitive emotional, learning and neurophysiological domains both directly and indirectly, thereby rendering it as essential that this non-invasive, nonpharmacological intervention ought to form a part of children’s and adolescents long-term health programs. Several manifestation of physical exercise providing health benefits for children and adolescents are evident in healthy and functional muscles and bones, increased strength and endurance, angiogenesis and neurogenesis, the reduces risk for chronic disease such as overweight and diabetes, improve self-esteem and psychological well-being and finally higher levels of subjective and psychological well-being as well as reduces stress, anxiety and depression.

The portrayal of national and spiritual aspects in Raja Rao’s Kanthapura
The aim of this paper is to bring the National and Spiritual identities, which are portrayed in the novel “Kanthapura” (1938) by Raja Rao. He focuses on two individual leaders and their beliefs, the actual and the mythicized figure of Gandhi, and his transmutation into Moorthy, the saintly hero of the novel. Yet interestingly he never has an actual meeting with Gandhi. He has only seen him in a ‘vision’ addressing a public meeting with him pushing his way through the crowd and joining the band of volunteers and receiving inspiration by a touch of Gandhi’s hand. The influence of Mahatma Gandhi’s practical philosophy and the social and the political aspects of his working programme are immense on the novel.

Lysis of the three semicirculars canals in chronic otitis media with cholesteatoma
The cholesteatoma of the middle ear is a chronic otitis qualified as dangerous because of the risk of evolution of potentially serious complications. Labyrinthine fistula represents an erosive loss of the endochondral bone overlying the labyrinth. Labyrinthine fistula occurrence is one of the most common complications in chronic otitis media with cholesteatoma(2-3). Very commonly , the fistula is seen in the lateral semicircular canal(6-7). But very rarely cases of lysis for the three semicircular canals. We report the case of 30-year-old man admitted to the emergency for right fetid purulent otorrhea and rotary type vertigo for 15 days, who presented a chronic right sided otorrhea 8 years ago and homolateral hypoacousis. Computed tomography shows lysis of the 3 semicircular canals. The treatment is essentially surgical with open technique. Regression of vertigo and dry ear is the benefits.

Validity and Reliability of the Constructs of the TPACK Framework in the Context of Teachers of Quantitative Disciplines in Makerere University.
The Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) framework operationalises the knowledge necessary for a teacher to use ICT in pedagogy as consisting of seven domains. The domains are content knowledge (CK), pedagogical knowledge (PK), technological knowledge (TK), pedagogical content knowledge (PCK), technological pedagogical knowledge (TPK), technological content knowledge (TCK), and technological pedagogical content knowledge (TPACK). Therefore, this study sought first, to establish the validity and reliability of each of the seven constructs. Second, to test whether the seven constructs were independent. Third, to re-examine whether the seven-factor TPACK model was reasonable. A sample of 87 was chosen from among 500 teachers of quantitative disciplines in Makerere University in Uganda who filled a self-administered questionnaire. The analysis involved using confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) and Cronbach alpha for the first objective; Pearson linear correlation (PLC) for the second objective; and exploratory factor analysis (EFA) for the third objective. (CFA) and Cronbach alpha for the first objective; Pearson linear correlation (PLC) for the second objective; and exploratory factor analysis (EFA) for the third objective. CFA and Cronbach alpha suggested that the seven constructs of TPACK were valid and reliable. However, PLC revealed that the seven constructs were highly inter-correlated. EFA revealed that while the TK and TCK constructs loaded together, the rest of the constructs (TPACK, PCK, CK, TPK, PK and PK in that order of importance) were distinct. It was recommended that researchers should continue using the TPACK framework as reasonable but at the same time while looking for avenues of refining it since it was found not to be perfect.

Loss and Risk in Bayesian inference and its Application
This paper was taken the loss and risk concepts, the objective of this paper is to estimate the loss and the risk in the Bayes method, as illustrated in the related case Where the prior distribution of the random variable is discrete and continuous, it applied on crop sales data in the continuous case, while it applied by two examples in the discrete case. Then the estimator of the loss function is the mean posterior distribution of the random variable, so it’s the same with median posterior distribution, hence is also the Bayes estimator with respect to a loss function equal to absolute deviation. The Bayes risk is a real value is the average of the loss function, so the smallest estimator who is the best estimator of the Bayes risk.

Use of science and technology in education on secondary and higher secondary level of West Bengal
Technology is being used by children and adults on a daily basis by way of web surfing, texting, social networking, interactive games, and in more ways. We are evolving technological society and in many ways have become dependent on its use. Thus, the use of technology and teaching students have to use it has become a high priority in the public schools. Modern technology tools that enable design, media production, self-expression, research, analysis, communication, collaboration, and computer programming are common place in various professions and disciplines, and facility with these tools is an essential part of becoming ready for college and careers. Interacting with digital learning environments that support the development of deeper learning skills such as problem solving, critical thinking, and inquiry is also crucial. Technology is a factor improving learning is the fact that technology is becoming such an integral part of our everyday world. The most jobs today require some type of technology use. Also, the students and adults are using technology on a daily basis to communicate, get information in multiple ways. The prevalent daily use of technology in people’s lives overall makes the use of technology very relevant to the students and provides a connection that will greatly benefit student learning.

On Two Stage Optional Randomized Response Model
In this paper, we propose a new optional randomized response model based on Gupta and Shabbir (2007) two-stage randomized response model which unbound the assumption that the mean of the scrambling variable S is ‘unity’ [i.e. ]. We derive the estimator of the sensitive variable, mean, and show that our method is more efficient than other randomized response models suggested by Eichhorn and Hayre (1983) and Gupta and shabbir (2007) estimators. A numerical illustration is given in support of the present study.
