CDK6 expression in dentigerous cyst, odontogenic keratocyst and ameloblastoma
To investigate the expression of CDK6 in odontogenic lesions. In this study 77 odontogenic lesions consist of 19 unicystic ameloblastoma (UA), 18 solid ameloblastoma (SA), 20 odontogenic keratocysts (OKC), and 20 dentigerous cysts were reviewed by immunohistochemistry (IHC) for CDK6 staining. Frequency of positive cytoplasmic CDK6 expression in ameloblastoma (solid and unicystic) and DCs, were recorded as, 100% and 15% respectively which show a statistically significant different (p=0.000). Positive nuclear CDK6 in SAs and UAs was 100% and 94.7% respectively which was significantly higher than DCs and OKCs (p=0.000). Mean percentage of both cytoplasmic (72.71 ± 10.0) and nuclear (45.0 ± 10.7) CDK6 staining in SAs was significantly higher than other lesions (p=0.000). Our study demonstrated that overexpression of the nuclear CDK6 and dysregulation of the PRb pathway play a role in the oncogenesis of ameloblastoma but not DCs and OKCs and might be one of the reasons for aggressive behavior of ameloblastoma.

Crime in the United States of America: testing the ‘Broken Window’ hypothesis
This study wishes to examine and validate the ‘broken window’ hypothesis among the fifty one states in the United States. The chosen method for this analysis is Johansen cointegration test to test for cointegration, and if any cointegrating vector is found, we proceed to test for Granger causality based on VECM. We test whether property crime (proxy for minor crime) leads to violent crime (proxy for major crime) in the fifty one states with respect to the period 1960 to 2007. Result of the study indicates that violent crime and property crime are cointegrated in forty eight states out of fifty one states. Further analysis to test for the validity of the broken window hypothesis provides stunning result whereby we found that the hypothesis is indeed valid in forty four out of forty eight states.

Criminal Protection from Fetus in Iranian Jurisdiction
Fetal protection is an issue that has been outlined in human societies and it has been considered in many legal systems throughout the world. In Iranian criminal law, fetus has a human personality and is respectable and protective. Any violation from this law is legally forbidden and is considered as a crime because like other human beings, fetus has rights such as rights of living and being healthy. So protection of fetal rights is not limited to support of its life by abortion ban or other practices resulting in life deprivation rather it includes protection of fetus’s health right.

Curcuma Longa: A coloring agent or a miracle spice
The traditional medicines (i.e. herbal medicines / Spices) are cost effective & have negligible side effects. There is a need for credible research to investigate the proper use, adverse effects and precautions associated with these products. Hence, the current study was carried out to observe the hepatoprotective effect of Curcuma Longa (C.L) in Nitro-Methane Sulfonamide (N-MS) induced hepatotoxicity. 40 male albino wistar rats were divided into four groups. In group A, normal diet was given for 09 days while in group B, N- MS was given for 09 days followed by CL powder for next 09 days; while CL powder for 09 days followed by N- MS for next 09 days was used in group C. Group D received N-MS in adjunct with C.L powder for 09 days. Blood samples from each group were taken for biochemical analysis of serum levels of ALT, AST, Alkaline Phosphatase and GGT. The results of present study have concluded that the administration of C.L significantly offered protection against damaging effects of N-MS.

Data Acquisition System for I.C.Engine
A data acquisition system is a device designed to measure various parameters. The purpose of the data acquisition system is generally the analysis of the data and the improvement in accuracy of measurements. The data acquisition system is normally electronics based, and it is made of hardware and software. The hardware part is made of sensors, signal conditioners & data acquisition card and computer. The data acquisition system increases efficiency of measurement and lowers the cost for test, through easy to integrate software like Visual Basic. With this system, Engineers can use graphical representation to meet their specific needs – very different from the conventional and traditional measurements. Additionally, data acquisition system capitalized on the ever-increasing performance of personal computers. In test, measurement, and control, the system experiences up to a 10 times increase in efficiency at a fraction of the cost, in a fraction of time, of traditional measurement system. This Dissertation work involves testing of internal combustion engine using data acquisition system . For this the data is acquired from internal combustion engine and send to computer after required conditioning. The parameters of internal combustion engine which can be measured are speed, load, temperature and vibrations . The graphical display on the computer screen can be made by using any software like Visual Basic . This is an attempt to develop a Computerized Test Rig for measurements of Speed , Load & Temperature, Vibrations using Software like Visual Basic , Hardware PCI 1050 Card with Signal Conditioning using INA128 IC and Sensors like Proximity Sensor, Load Cell and RTD .

Design of Compact Monopole Antenna loaded with SRR for Wi-MAX/Wi-Fi/Satellite Communication
A design and development of a simple monopole antenna based on metamaterial resonators for multiband operation is presented. The antenna operates in the frequency range of 2.97 GHz to 4.25GHz, 4.6 GHz to 5.24 GHz, 7.15 GHz to 10.41GHz, with impedance bandwidth of 35.45%, 13.01% and 37.13%, respectively. The split ring resonators (SRR) acts as metamaterial resonators which are embedded on the planar monopole that resonates for multiple frequency bands. The antenna shows the good impedance matching and radiation performance. The measured result is agreed well with the simulated result. The proposed antenna finds their application in the different wireless communications such as Wi-MAX, Wi-Fi and Satellite Communication.

Development and Sensory Evaluation of Therapuetic Chocolate Pound Cakes
Lot of attention has been given towards natural healthy therapeutic foods by health professional and the common population for improving overall well being, as well as in the prevention of diseases. In this connection, many grains and fruits have been regarded in functional foods. When such ingredients are added into food preparation with an objective of imparting health benefit is the need of the hour. With this aim, a venture was made to develop a bakery product and evaluate its organoleptic attributes. A chocolate pound cake was formulated and in which desired proportions of kavanai rice and Tribulus terrestris fruit powder were added and thus 5 varieties of cakes were prepared and its sensory attributes were compared with the standard cake. 9 point hedonic scale was used to assess sensory characteristics via colour, appearance, flavour, taste and overall acceptability. Garrets ranking tool was employed to assess the ranking of hedonic score. The overall acceptability of cake 2 (80% Refined Wheat Flour and 20% Tribulus terrestris fruit powder) and cake 3 (100% Refined Wheat Flour and 10% Tribulus terrestris fruit powder) had the highest score of 8.55 and was comparable with standard cake. It was imperative that addition of 10% Tribulus terrestris fruit powder into chocolate cake without addition of Kavanai rice scores highest for its sensory attributes. It is concluded that kavanai rice and Tribulus terrestris fruit powder could serve as potential functional ingredients in the development of therapeutic foods. Key Words: Tribulus terrestris fruit powder, Kavanai rice, functional foods, Chocolate Pound Cakes.
