Education relevance in any given country is anchored in its philosophy of education. The Kenyan philosophy of education advocates for provision of a holistic education and training that promotes all the domains of learning. However, in practice academically oriented learning is emphasized focusing on cognitive domain while passively imparting the psychomotor and affective domains. This article reports on data from a study that sought to explore the perceptions on the relevance Nyerere’s philosophy of education towards the academically oriented university education in Kenya for sustainable economic development. The research adopted a case study research design. Data was collected from one Dean of students, 5 Coordinators of campuses, 586 fourth education students and 22 lecturers from Kisii University selected using saturated, purposive and simple random sampling techniques. The data was collected using questionnaires and interviews. The items in the questionnaires were tested for content validity and reliability by means of a pilot study in one of the campuses that was not included in the sample. The data was analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results of the study revealed that university education was perceived as over-reliant on academic qualifications while neglecting practical learning and values. The study recommended that to offer holistic education require embracing ideals of Nyerere’s philosophy of education in line with the original intended objectives of 8-4-4 curriculum in Mackay report and the current needs of the country to produce liberated self- reliant individuals.

The present study examines the role of religion in mental health and quality of life, is discussed. Present study is based on descriptive research method, is correlational. The population of all male students, city Sarpolezohab the academic year 2014/2013, are studying samples with 280 people, according to a random sampling method, is considered. Instruments used in this study, the questionnaire Baraheni religious attitude and mental health questionnaire (28 - GHQ), a global health and quality of life are. Results from the study showed that between negative religious attitudes, and mental health. students, there was a significant negative relationship. Negative religious attitude, the quality of life for students, there was a significant negative relationship. Religious attitude, positive mental health of students, there was a significant positive relationship. Between positive religious attitude, the quality of life for students, there was a significant positive relationship. Thus, religion can be, on all factors have an important role in the pathogenesis of stress and situational evaluation, cognitive evaluation of a person, action, advocacy and resources.... may diminish mental.

Survivability studies are integral part of cancer research and are particularly important in testicular cancer (TC) studies as TC appears to affect young adults most and is the most curable of all cancers leaving a long life ahead for TC survivors. Numerical models were developed correlating several different parameters documented in SEER (Surveillance, Epidemiology and End Results) database to survivability of TC patients and comparing the model predicted results with actual survival times. The study demonstrates the importance of tumor markers AFP, hCG, and LDH in maintaining strong correlations.

The purpose of this study is to assess the influences of perceived justice with service recovery on recovery satisfaction and word of mouth, and to examine the mediating role of recovery satisfaction in the relationship between perceived justice and word of mouth intention. Data were gathered on perceived justice with service recovery, recovery satisfaction and word of mouth by means of survey from management undergraduate students, who experienced failure within last one year in a university in Iran. The results show that distributive and procedural justices have a significant and positive relationship with recovery satisfaction. However, there was no significant relationship between interactional justice and recovery satisfaction. The results also found that recovery satisfaction has a positive relationship with word of mouth. Moreover, the results of this study confirmed that recovery satisfaction mediates the relationship between perceived justice with service recovery and word of mouth in all perceived justice dimensions except for distributive justice. Managerial implications of these findings are briefly discussed.

To understand the structural and electrical characteristics of Au and thiol substituted tetracene, a quantum chemical calculation has been carried out with Density Functional Theory (DFT) coupled with the Bader’s AIM theory. The various levels of applied electric field (0 – 0.21 VÅ-1) altered the geometrical conformation as well as the electronic energy levels of the molecule. Variations in MPA and NPA atomic charges of the molecule for the applied fields have been compared. The field polarizes the molecule and hence the dipole moment of the molecule increases from 0.0002 to 14.65 D. For the zero bias, the HOMO–LUMO gap is1.752 eV, as the field increases this gap decreases to 1.03 eV, which reveals that it exhibits charge transfer ability for the applied field.

The present study was carried out in order to study about the textural characteristics of sediments, trace metal concentration (Cu, Zn), and their seasonal changes along with the influence of organic matter and physico-chemical parameter like pH, temperature, salinity and rainfall. Samplings were done at 3 different stations during 4 seasons starting from premonsoon-2009 to summer-2010. The changes in the phi mean grain size are due to selective winnowing of the finer grain size population by waves and currents acting in that environment. The sediments were well sorted to moderately well sorted in nature, skewness of the sediment samples were nearly symmetrical to coarse skewed and kurtosis ranged from mesokurtic to extremely leptokurtic in nature. The organic matter concentration range from 3.2% to 9.7% as minimum and maximum respectively. Concentration of reactive copper ranged from12.8ppm to 34.16ppm and the zinc concentration ranged from 39.3ppm to 228.2ppm.Thus in the present study the concentration of trace metals (copper & zinc), organic matter, grain size distribution and the interaction of Physico chemical parameters during different seasons were discussed.

Diverse soil management practices exist even within a narrow transect of farming areas in Nepal. This variation is principally due to location of farm households along the spatial gradient, infrastructure availability, market demands and farmers’ awareness to on-farm resource conservation. Over-exploitation of farm resources was negligible and disturbance to agro-ecology was minimal in the past couple of decades. In the last decade, however, due to a massive sprawl in the available farmlands along with a shift of subsistence farming towards market-oriented conventional approach, prime agricultural lands have been over-exploited. This led to negative repercussion on production base and farmers’ livelihoods. This paper concerns with the simulation of farm income through spatial modeling considering the strategy of sustainable soil management practices. Spatial modeling shows higher farm income gains due to intervention in rural areas (low income zone) and peri-urban areas (high income zone) with existing unsustainable soil management practices. Spatial explicit assessment shows that integration of micro-survey into spatial environment and subsequently modeling of present and future situation would add more information on the results from conventional surveys. Therefore spatial effects should be duly considered while formulating agriculture and rural development policies.

Synovialosarcoma is one of the most common soft tissue sarcomas. Despite its name, the synoviolosarcome does not seem to be of synovial origin, but is rather derived multipotent cells. Paradoxically, the more often it is tumors that are within distance joints. Synovialosarcoma is in order of frequency the third histological type among soft tissue sarcomas. Complete surgical removal of the tumor is the basis of traitement.la adjuvant radiotherapy for appears beneficial residual tumor. As for chemotherapy, it remains to be explored its role.
