Agriculture and technological gadgets rule the world. No agriculture, no food. No technological gadgets, no civilisation. Agriculture as the ancient of civilisation is on threshold competition with high-tech gadgets. Everywhere, Money! Money! Money, but none for 99% of world population of over 6 billion. Only 1% of world population control world wealth of over US$251 trillion. Of this wealth high-tech gadgets account for over 90%. Agricultural products remain the least priced, but remains the most essential. Yet, high tech gadgets take the whole earnings from agriculture and add to their own empire. In view of the fact that high tech money monguls, must also feed and be happy with agriculture, and not from gadgets; they need to invest in agriculture and feed a hungry world with just 1% of their fortune. Nevertheless, agriculture and high tech gadgets must live and let live for a better world.

Youth tourist is gaining more recognition in tourism marketing and product development in developing countries. Besides being an individual who favours cheap travel, free street shows, and non guided tours, youth tourist also desires to experience expensive events. However, youth in event tourism in Malaysia is hardly discussed, leaving the capabilities of this event unexplored. One of the Malaysian initiatives to enhance tourism, including youth is the Visit Malaysia Year 2007. Based on a case study of 130 respondents, this article draws the perspective of youth tourists’ perspective as fans of event tourism. The findings showed that forms and event suitability act as the mediators that encouraged youths’ participation in event tourism. In planning future event tourism, youth as fans should be transformed in more discern promotional campaign, as knowing who youth of event tourism are will define their desires and actual travel capabilities.

This paper proposes a new crossover for the shortage of genetic algorithm, which is called Same-position reverse Crossover, replaces the mutation operator in genetic algorithm for trust region method. Finally, proves convergence of algorithm. Numerical experiment shows that the new method is effective.

A survey on mobile adhoc network networks have experienced strong growth due to their ability to provide an additional and complementary support for existing infrastructure communication systems. In such a network, routers are supposed to be fixed for short (e.g. public safety deployment) or long (e.g. network operator extension) period. This relative stability of infrastructure makes proactive routing protocols appropriate. One of the well known proactive routing protocols is OLSR (Optimized Link State Routing), which routing decisions are based on exchanges of topology information using all-to-all flooding of local information in order for each router to build a global knowledge of the topology. This study first goal is to improve the performance of topology information flooding in OLSR by introducing network coding techniques, which leads to a decrease of signaling overhead.

Steganography techniques are helpful to hide the secret information in cover media and thus aid in enhancing the security of sensitive data during transmission and storage. Applying discrete wavelet transform helps to convert the image to the frequency domain. Haar wavelet transform is used to obtain the low frequency approximate (LL) detail and three high frequency detailed (LH, HL, HH) details. As the detailed sub bands have less sensitive information these are used for embedding the secret information. The secret information in the form of image can be reduced to one fourth size using haar transform. Encoding methods can be used to reduce the size of the image and encrypting the compressed data with the known key can help to enhance the security. The quality of stegoimage is measured using PSNR. The hiding capacity can be measured to compare with the other techniques of steganography.

Based on a well-known saying in the field of language teaching, teaching language is nothing but teaching culture. This study is also another evidence for this saying. In other words, the aim of this study was, in fact, to highlight the role of teaching foreign language culture in language learning and teaching. To conduct the intended purpose, two questionnaires were distributed among the student and teacher participants of the study in Shiraz, Iran. The purpose of using the two questionnaires was to find out first, to what extent teachers and students are aware of the role of foreign culture awareness in language learning and teaching; and second, to what extent does teachers are aware of the strategies and techniques of teaching foreign language culture and how students benefit from it. The study revealed that first, both students and teachers do believe that culture and language are inseparable and second, teachers were able to conduct strategies and techniques of teaching foreign language culture to emphasize it in class. The study also provides a few implications regarding the culture and language teaching.

A rapid, sensitive reversed phase stability-indicating high-performance liquid chromatographic (HPLC) assay method was developed and validated for quantitative determination of carmustine in bulk drugs and the degradation products generated from forced degradation. A gradient, reversed phase HPLC method was developed to separate the drug from the degradation products, using an YMC ODS-A C18 (250mm x 4.6) mm,5u column and the Mobile phase-A 0.01 M Potassium dihydrogen phosphate in water, adjust PH 3.2 with orthophosphuric acid and mobile phase-B methanol was used as mobile phase. The detection was carried out at wavelength 230 nm and 205 nm. The chromatographic resolution between its degraded products was found to be greater than two. The carmustine was subjected to stress conditions of acid, base, oxidation (30 % H2O2), thermal degradation and photolytic degradation. The degradation was observed for carmustine in alkali, acid and in thermal hydrolysis. The mass balance was close to 100 in all the stress conditions. The degraded products were well resolved from main peak. The developed method was validated with respect to linearity, accuracy, recovery, precision, system suitability, selectivity, robustness and forced degradation studies prove the stability indicating ability of the method.
