The causative agent for the ongoing coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-COV-2). SARS-COV-2 makes entry into host cell via ACE2 receptor. The binding interaction of SARS-COV-2 with ACE2 receptor has been presented along with the mechanism of viral infection. In addition to lungs, other tissues viz heart, brain, kidneys etc. become potential targets of SARS-COV-2 infection owing to the expression of ACE2 in them. Understanding of damage in such tissues has been addressed along with some preventive therapeutics.

This study is planned to determine the knowledge of personal protective equipment use of senior paramedic students before graduation during COVID-19 pandemic. The research is a descriptive study. The universe of the study consisted of 180 senior paramedic students studying at three universities in Izmir. When evaluating the study data, descriptive findings were expressed as percentage, mean, standard deviation and median. 38.1% of the students are between 18-20 years old, 50.0% are between 21-23 years old and 11.9% are 23 years old and above. 58.3% of the students participating in the study are females and 41.7% are males. In the study, 74.4% of paramedic students stated that healthcare personnel working in ambulance or patient transport vehicles should use medical masks, gowns, gloves and eye protection while transporting suspected COVID-19- (SARS-CoV-2) patients to the health institution. 78.5% of the students answered that an N95/FFP2 mask should be used while intervening and taking samples in a patient suspected o having COVID-19. As a result, it was found that during the COVID-19 pandemic period, the knowledge of personal protective equipment use of senior paramedic students before graduation is sufficient in some cases and not clear and sufficient in some cases. It is recommended that students should be given effective training on the use of PPE during the intervention of the patient with COVID-19 before graduation. It is known that the use of personal protective equipment is preventive in the transmission of the virus. There are studies supporting that the contact of healthcare professionals with patients with covid-19 increases their anxiety. In our study, it was thought that it would be helpful to determine whether paramedic students, who will be in the risk group to come into contact with covid-19 patients in the prehospital area, have sufficient knowledge about the use of personal protective equipment. In this direction, it is thought that it will contribute to the content of the training on the use of personal protective equipment during the covid-19 pandemic process.

This study is an effort to explore Iranian EFL teachers’ perceptions about integrating Computer Mediated Communication (CMC) tools in teaching and learning English and reasons they choose or avoid utilizing such tools in the classroom. 100 male and female English teachers with BA, MA, or PhD degree participated in this survey. A questionnaire was used for the purpose of the study. The findings reveal that the majority of teachers were positive towards computer mediated teaching. They asserted that CMC tools are time, energy, and money saving; interesting for the students; reduces cultural barriers by facilitating exposure to the authentic materials; enables teachers to encourage students beyond the limit of time and space; and enables learners to learn at their own pace. The results of the correlational analysis shows that the better teachers were at working with computers the more they showed positive attitudes towards applying technology in their teaching practice.

In this study, we concluded the Lagrangian equations on (J^((2,0) ) M,?_L,?) , being a model. Finally introduce, some geometrical and physical results on the related mechanic systems have been discussed.

The chlorophyll fluorescence of the Amaranthus leaf has been irradiated with a He-Ne laserof peak wavelength 632.8 nm. Chlorophyll is a natural pigment found in green plants. It is the primary pigment that absorbs light energy from the sun for photosynthesis. This energy is then used by the plant to synthesize glucose from carbon dioxide and water. The extraction of chlorophyll from Amaranthus leaves was done using a cold/solvent extraction method. Amaranthus leaves were dried at room temperature and pounded in a mortar with pestle into powdered form. The chlorophyll solution was poured into seven different test tubes for the analysis. The cuvette was filled with the most diluted sample and irradiated with He-Ne laser light. The fluorescence intensity was measured with the help of a photocell connected to a multimeter.It has been observed that the fluorescence intensity depends on the concentration of the sample but at the same time, it also depends on the absorption of the sample. When the chlorophyll concentration is minima the fluorescence intensity is maxima. The result obtained in this work can be used to estimate the fluorescence intensity in various chlorophyll concentrations of the Amaranthus leaf.

This study seeks to understand and explain the leadership practice among technical and vocational teacher of Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Seri Medan, Batu Pahat, Johor in facing current educational issues. A qualitative case study conducted among 4 teachers who teach the subjects of invention, life skills, trade and home economics in order to get their perception. The findings in this study demonstrates an understanding among teachers of technical and vocational fields regarding of leadership style and how a practice of leadership style facing the current educational issues. In conclusion, every teacher should diversify their leadership style in teaching so that, the students can increase their proeficiency in specific areas.

Collection of 13 leaves from Capsicum annuum L. was taken for the observation of symptoms caused by Alternaria solani on date 15/12/2020. Size of leaves noted between 6.88 sq. cm. to 31.96 Sq.cm and Maximum number of spots was 18. The other symptoms shoot out, half lamina absent (in leaf), swelling of green tissue along with yellow spot with white mycelium, giving powdery mass in some leaves were common. Leg fractures are very common, accounting for 15 to 20% of all fractures [1, 2]. The aim of this study was to describe the epidemiological and lesion-related aspects of leg fractures at the referral hospital. This was a single-center, retrospective and prospective study. Patients were admitted between March 2018 and May 2020 for open or closed fractures of the tibia or both lower leg bones. The information collected included, for the epidemiological component, sex and age, and for the lesion-related component, the etiological characteristics of the fracture, medical and surgical history, admission time, clinical signs at admission, and radiological characteristics of the injuries, including injuries associated with the leg fracture. We used the Gustilo-Anderson and the Osteosynthesis Association classifications as classifications. During the study period, we recorded 846 admissions to the trauma and orthopedic surgery department of the HGR, 90 of which (10.63%) had a leg fracture as the reason for admission; these were the subject of our study. The average age of the patients was 34.58 years and male sex (85.6%) predominated. Women represented 14.4% of the patients. The etiologies were dominated by road traffic accidents (65.6%), which affected more young adults, women being more prone to domestic accidents. In 83% of cases, two-wheelers (motorcycles) were involved in the occurrence of leg fractures. The patient admission time was less than 12 hours. In our series, two patients had a medical history, including 1 hypertensive patient and another hypertensive and diabetic, (2.2%). Only one patient had a history of surgery (1.1%). He was operated on for a fracture of the right leg. Functional signs (pain and functional impotence) were present in almost all patients. Only 7.8% did not present deformity of the affected limb on admission. The right side was the most affected with 56.7% (n=51), its middle third (34.45%) most often; the left side was affected in 42.2% (n=38) and 1 patient with bilateral involvement (1.1%). Open fractures (24.4%) were less represented than closed fractures (75.6%) and among open fractures, 54.6% were classified as type II according to the Gustilo-Anderson classification. Types I and III represented 18.3% and 27.2% respectively (IIIA=22.7; IIIB=4.5%). The most common type of displacement was overlapping, and according to the Osteosynthesis Association (AO) classification, type 42A3 was the most common, with 32.22% (n=29). Femoral injuries had the highest incidence of associated injuries. Conclusion: In the Orthopedic and Trauma Surgery Department of the HGR, leg fractures were more common in young males with road traffic accidents. Patient admission times varied considerably. Open fractures were less common and were dominated by type 2 fractures according to GA. Type 42A3 of the AO classification was more common, and the most frequently identified displacement was overlapping.

We report a case of bladder leiomyosarcoma. This is a rare infiltrating bladder tumor, highly malignant, very poor prognosis due to a very early loco regional invasion. Only the pathological examination can bring positive diagnosis. The therapeutic modalities for this histological type are not codified. However treatment is mainly based on surgical excision Solid sometimes preceded by chemotherapy when the patient's condition.

Most developing countries embarked on trade liberalisation at the prescription of Bretton Wood institutions. Zambia abandoned planned economy with strong interventionist and developmental objectives in the tourism sector. The country delved deeper into neoclassical, neoliberal economic policies such as Mercantilism, Absolute Advantage, Comparative Advantage, Heckscher-Ohlin Factor Endowment, and Porter’ s Diamond when formulating the Tourism Development Policies. The key beneficiaries of this new public management approach to development, remains multi- national corporations within the hospitality sector in particular and tourism in general at the expense of local lodge owners. The key findings in this paper highlight poor real growth in the sector, inadequate occupancy rate of lodges, reduces break even and expansion of the sector, increase in foreign investors, lack of expansion of locally owned lodges, dwindling market share and fewer and fewer new lodges being established since the liberalisation of the sector. This paper argues that new public management approach to development drawn from neoclassical and neoliberal theories of trade are responsible for poor policy choices.
