A circuit which accepts two sinusoidal waveforms with phase difference Ø and provides two dc output voltages in which one dc output voltage is proportional to the quadrature component SinØ and the another is proportional to the in phase component CosØ, by position sampling of the reference quadrature waveforms, is described in this letter.

Uterine AVMs are rare complication of gestational trophoblastic disease, with a life-threatening potential as a result of unexplained and torrential bleeding.Placental site trophoblastic tumor (PSTT) is a rare form of gestational trophoblastic disease. PSTT has a wide range of clinical presentations and behaviors. However, few case reports are available about PSTT cases complicated by uterine AVMs.In this report, a PSTT case with evidences of uterine AVM on imaging studies is reported. A 33-year-old patient, gravida 2, para 2 was referred to emergency service, with sever vaginal bleeding and ?-hCG level of 1063 IU/l. Trans-abdominal and trans-vaginal ultrasonography images indicated hypoechoic mass in endometrium with echo-free center with size of 46*33mm that extended to anterior myometrium of uterus. Pelvic magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) revealed a 38*49mm mass with heterogeneous signal in T1 and T2 in right lateral side of uterus with enhancement after contrast agent injection. In angiography the right uterine artery had serpentine vessels and AVM view. Dilation and curettage was not possible due to risk of sever hemorrhage following damage to the hypervascular lesion. So suction biopsy was performed under hysteroscopic guide, after embolization of uterine artery for stabilization of the patient. The patient underwent laparotomy, total abdominal hysterectomy because of pathological report of PSTT. The patient is in good health with no evidence of disease at follow-up of 18 months after operation.

Quality of life is an amorphous and broad construct concerned with overall well-being in societies. While the term “quality” implies the degree of excellence of a characteristic, different people may value different areas of life, and therefore quality of life means different things to different people .Quality of life’ as any other concept in social science has been defined in a number of ways. In order to know the level of living people in a given geographical area, one has to know the overall consumption types and levels, housing, health, education, social status, employment, affluence, leisure hour, social security and social stability etc. A phenomenal and rapid enhancement in increase of urban population, practically in all major cities has the consequent strain on the prevailing system has manifested in the form of an environmental chaos. The process of urbanization can be owed as main culprit, where in besides bringing higher standard of living, it has also brought severe problems, as growth of dense and unplanned residential areas, environmental pollution, non-availability of services and amenities, solid waste, garbage disposal problems, drinking water problems, traffic menace etc. The study area, Jammu city is passing through a transitional phase of urbanization as lot of changes have been witnessed in last 3 decades. Thus, the present paper tends to assess and evaluate the quality of life and environmental conditions in the study area i.e. Jammu City on the basis of people’s perception.

The vibrational spectroscopy of 1-isopropyl-4-methyl benzene [IMB] by means of quantum chemical calculation has been studied. The FT-Raman and FT-IR spectra of IMB have been recorded in the region 3500-50cm-1 and 4000-400cm-1 respectively. The fundamental vibrational frequencies and intensity of vibrational bands have been evaluated using HF and density functional theory (DFT) with standard B3LYP/6-31+G(d,p) and HF/6-31+G(d,p) basis set combinations for optimized geometries. The observed FT-IR and FT-Raman vibrational frequencies have been anlaysed and compared with theoretically predicted vibrational frequencies. The assignments of bands to various normal modes of molecule have also been carried out. The electric dipole moment (?) and the first hyper polarazibility (?) values of the investigated molecule have been computed using DFT calculations. The calculated HOMO and LUMO energies show that charge transfer occur with in the molecule.

The study examined the relationship between perceived characteristics of innovating (PCI) and adoption of new mobile phones among students in Ekiti State University, Ado-Ekiti, Nigeria. Based on Rogers’ (1983) theory of adoption, Moore and Benbasat (1991) identified constructs such as relative advantage, ease of use, result demonstrability, compatibility, visibility, trialability, and image as characteristics of innovation that could influence adoption. The study population comprised 13,798 full-time undergraduate students of the institution, out of which 389 respondents were drawn using Yamane sample size model and stratified random sampling technique. An aggregate of 380 structured questionnaires were duly completed and useable giving a 97.6% response rate. Pearson Product Moment Correlation was the method used to test the relationship between consumer perception of mobile phone as innovative and adoption of new mobile phones. The result showed that factors such as relative advantage, ease of use, result demonstrability were highly significant (r= 0.859; p<0.05, p=0.000) in their relationship with adoption; whereas visibility and image were weak (r=0.482; p<0.05, p=0.006) in their relationship with adoption. The study recommended that awareness of the functionality of new and sophisticated mobile phones needs to be raised by marketers if they want customers to adopt and use them. Furthermore, knowing that students are becoming ICT compliant and having taken to the use of social media in their interactions, it is important that mobile phone design and functionality should correspond to the social lifestyle and academic requirements of scholars to ensure sustained adoption.

Education relevance in any given country is anchored in its philosophy of education. The Kenyan philosophy of education advocates for provision of a holistic education and training that promotes all the domains of learning. However, in practice academically oriented learning is emphasized focusing on cognitive domain while passively imparting the psychomotor and affective domains. This article reports on data from a study that sought to explore the perceptions on the relevance Nyerere’s philosophy of education towards the academically oriented university education in Kenya for sustainable economic development. The research adopted a case study research design. Data was collected from one Dean of students, 5 Coordinators of campuses, 586 fourth education students and 22 lecturers from Kisii University selected using saturated, purposive and simple random sampling techniques. The data was collected using questionnaires and interviews. The items in the questionnaires were tested for content validity and reliability by means of a pilot study in one of the campuses that was not included in the sample. The data was analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results of the study revealed that university education was perceived as over-reliant on academic qualifications while neglecting practical learning and values. The study recommended that to offer holistic education require embracing ideals of Nyerere’s philosophy of education in line with the original intended objectives of 8-4-4 curriculum in Mackay report and the current needs of the country to produce liberated self- reliant individuals.

The present study examines the role of religion in mental health and quality of life, is discussed. Present study is based on descriptive research method, is correlational. The population of all male students, city Sarpolezohab the academic year 2014/2013, are studying samples with 280 people, according to a random sampling method, is considered. Instruments used in this study, the questionnaire Baraheni religious attitude and mental health questionnaire (28 - GHQ), a global health and quality of life are. Results from the study showed that between negative religious attitudes, and mental health. students, there was a significant negative relationship. Negative religious attitude, the quality of life for students, there was a significant negative relationship. Religious attitude, positive mental health of students, there was a significant positive relationship. Between positive religious attitude, the quality of life for students, there was a significant positive relationship. Thus, religion can be, on all factors have an important role in the pathogenesis of stress and situational evaluation, cognitive evaluation of a person, action, advocacy and resources.... may diminish mental.

Survivability studies are integral part of cancer research and are particularly important in testicular cancer (TC) studies as TC appears to affect young adults most and is the most curable of all cancers leaving a long life ahead for TC survivors. Numerical models were developed correlating several different parameters documented in SEER (Surveillance, Epidemiology and End Results) database to survivability of TC patients and comparing the model predicted results with actual survival times. The study demonstrates the importance of tumor markers AFP, hCG, and LDH in maintaining strong correlations.

The purpose of this paper is to establish a common random fixed point theorem for five random multivalued operators satisfying a rational inequality using the concept of weak compatibility, semi compatibility and commutativity of random multivalued operators in polish space.

The purpose of this study is to assess the influences of perceived justice with service recovery on recovery satisfaction and word of mouth, and to examine the mediating role of recovery satisfaction in the relationship between perceived justice and word of mouth intention. Data were gathered on perceived justice with service recovery, recovery satisfaction and word of mouth by means of survey from management undergraduate students, who experienced failure within last one year in a university in Iran. The results show that distributive and procedural justices have a significant and positive relationship with recovery satisfaction. However, there was no significant relationship between interactional justice and recovery satisfaction. The results also found that recovery satisfaction has a positive relationship with word of mouth. Moreover, the results of this study confirmed that recovery satisfaction mediates the relationship between perceived justice with service recovery and word of mouth in all perceived justice dimensions except for distributive justice. Managerial implications of these findings are briefly discussed.
