Determining suitable probability distribution models for agricultural drainage envelope clogging data
Determination of suitable probability distribution function in among frequency distribution models in evaluating occurrences for any phenomena is very important. The gradient ratio is the one of the best important parameter for evaluation of envelope clogging. To conduct this research, data of each replicate was divided into four hourly periodic lengths of 24, 48, 72, and 96. Then, with analysis of data in time series according to HYFA software output and goodness fit of Relative Residual Square Mean, suitable frequency distribution function for each envelope was selected. Based on relative frequency, the best fitted distribution was found to be Three Parameter Log Normal distribution (Moment method) and Two Parameter Log Normal distribution (maximum likelihood method) for synthetic envelope of PP450, Normal distribution (Moment method and maximum likelihood method) for synthetic envelope of PP700, Three Parameter Log Normal distribution (Moment method) and Two Parameter Log Normal distribution (maximum likelihood method) for synthetic envelope of PP900 and Pearson type III distribution (Moment method) and Normal distribution (maximum likelihood method) for envelope of gravel.

Developing Textual Enhancement-based Grammar Instruction Model (TEBGIM) for English Education Department Students at IAIN Bukittinggi
Within a decade, the grammar learning process and learning outcomes at English education department students of IAIN Bukittinggi found some problems. The class was still held in lecturer-centered. The research design used is Research and Development (R&D). To develop the instructional product, the researcher applies Four-D Model by Thiagarajan et.al, that is Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. The product testing is carried out at the third semester English education department students of IAIN Bukittinggi. The instruments used in this research are interview, observation, tests and questionnaires. To qualify the three products, the experts of grammar for content, language and layout examine the validity, the practicality and the effectiveness of the textual enhancement model of grammar instruction, lecturer’s manual and students’ workbook. The research findings exhibit students’ need analysis and prototype model of TEBGIM.

Digestive diffuse angiomatosis, an exceptional cause of intestinal occlusion: About a case
Blue rubber bleb nevus syndrome (Cutaneous and digestive angiomatosis) is a vascular malformation that is not well known. The gastrointestinal lesions occurring during this syndrome are clinically more relevant than those of the skin and soft tissues. Adherence to standard surgical principles results in successful results with minimal morbidity.The diagnosis of Bean syndrome must be evoked in the presence of acute intestinal occlusion and angiomatous skin lesions.We report a particular case of this syndrome by its late revelation following a volvulus on a huge bowel vascular lesion, giving the opportunity to a review of the literature.

Dye decolourisation of textile effluent using mycelial biomass of pleurotus florida and calocybe indica
Mycelial biomass of the selected macro fungi namely Pleurotus florida and Calocybe indica were tested for the dye decolorisation using spectrophotmetry over a period of seven days. Among the two mushrooms selected, Pleurotus florida recorded maximum decolourisation potential with carbon source. The decolorisation efficiency of Pleurotus florida was observed to be 29.70%,50.39% and 64.15% in treatments with 1%,2%,3% carbon source, while Calocybe indica recorded decolourisation of 27.52%,35.44% and 41.38% in 1%,2%,3% carbon source.The study revealed that the macro fungi give scope for decolorisation of dye effluent.

Dynamic causal linkage from selected equity market in sub-saharan african market-Vector Autoregressive (VAR) Approach.
Market interactions among stock market of the world have necessitated the relationship among different financial markets driven by market liberalization and international pressure to lower trade barriers, which have enhanced international linkages between capital markets. This study examines the dynamic causal linkage among the selected equity market in Africa using the generalized Vector autoregressive (VAR) framework that produces forecast error variance decompositions and also accounts for correlated shocks using historically observed distribution of the errors. The time series data from investing.com over 01/02/2004-01/07/2016 are employ for the study. The findings on dynamic return linkages is that there is no strong significant returns linkages among the African selected markets. Controlling for the influence of advance market (UK and US). The results show that the South African market has more link with international markets than the Nigerian market. A crucial finding is the lowest spillover index recorded through variance decomposition and impulse response among the African markets. This is an indication of possible gain in African market and in line the portfolio theory. The finding of this study have important implications for policymakers.

Effect of Temperature on the Ion- Solvent Interaction of Cerium Chloride with Aqueous Formic Acid by Ultrasonic Measurement
Ultrasonic velocity and density have been determined in cerium chloride and aqueous formic acid at 30oC,35oC and40oC. Different acoustic parameters were calculated using measured value of ultrasonic velocity and density at these three temperatures. These data provide useful information about change in interaction at different temperatures. The main target of this paper is to highlight the type and extent of molecular interaction between component molecules and to reflect effect of on them.

Effects of use of ICT: students’ perception at higher education level
This study was conducted to investigate the perceptions of male and female students about effects of use of Information and Communication Technology. The research study was a descriptive in its nature. The targeted population was the male and female students of the public sector universities. The purposive sampling technique was used to gather data from the faculty of social sciences of two public sector universities. Data were collected by administering a questionnaire that based on Likert- five point scales. The data were tabulated, analyzed and interpreted. The Chi Square and Mean score were applied to analyze the data. Present study showed the results that Role of Information Communication and Technology is very important to improve learning. Both type of respondents agreed that ICT is an agent of change. Information and Communication Technology helps to integrate the learning and technology. Information and Communication Technology enhances communication ability in students.

Enhancing the Load ability of Congested Power Systems’ Transmission Lines Using FACTS Technology
Congestion in the power system transmission network has been a major constraint towards making active power available to the consumers. One of the conventional and long term methods but capital intensive to alleviating this problem is by adding new, expanding or reinforcing existing transmission facility. In this work, an interim, short term and cost effective measure – the use of TCSC and SVC in enhancing loadability of congested power transmission line was presented. The Nigerian Interconnected Power System – 330 kV bus power transmission network was used as a baseline and NEPLAN – a power system software was used to run load flow analysis on the network in four stages: a baseline load flow analysis on the network to identify areas of constraints, a load flow analysis with TCSC located in-between optimal nodes, load flow analysis with SVC located at optimal nodes and then, a load flow analysis in the presence of TCSC and SVC on the network. The impact of these activities were investigated and the results showed that under baseline condition, low voltage violations occurred at Gombe, Jos, Kaduna, Kano, Kebbi, Maiduguri, Makurdi, and Sokoto bus stations with percentage bus voltage of 65.77%, 72.83%, 79.96%, 62.29%, 89.63%, 65.37%, 79.46%, and 89.07% respectively; well below the reference percentage bus voltage profile of 90%. The combined services of TCSC and SVC as proposed, remedied the violations with a corresponding percentage bus voltages of 94.83%, 99.50%, 96.84%, 99.50%, 99.09%, 94.55%, 95.48%, and 99.50% respectively. With the presence of TCSC & SVC, total active power loss on the network was reduced from 108.76MW to 59.18MW (46%), and total reactive power loss, from 931.19MVar to 505.92Mvar (46%). Loadability was greatly enhanced on the lines with TCSC and the neighboring lines. For instance, in Makurdi-Jos line, there was active power increase from 212.60MW to 300.61MW, creating about 41% capacity margin; and Kaduna-Jos line, from 45.50MW to 132.97MW, about 195% capacity margin. The overall impact is in the network is that overloaded and congested lines were greatly relieved.
