This study was conducted to evaluation of satisfaction with using Sheliver cleansing distilled product in fatty liver patients. A validated questionnaire for fatty liver disease was utilized to assess for a relationship between using Sheliver liver cleanser distilled with disease remission. A total of 120 patients responded to the questionnaire. This herbal medication included extract of Borago officinalis, Taraxacum officirale, Silybum marianum, Cynara scoolymus etc and produced by Parsiteb Company. Consumption of this product is 100 ml per day. According to questionnaire it was determined that, 78%, patients showed Satisfaction in relation to appearance and packaging of product and medication effect value. 67% of patients had “good” answer about satisfaction of healing period, but one of the things that patients were dissatisfied with the product price. According to our results and patients, Sheliver product made by Parsiteb Company is the best choice for fatty liver disease in compare to chemical medications.Key words: Fatty liver, Sheliver , questionnaire

Some physical chemical characteristics and heavy metal levels in soil samples (Top and Sub) around dumpsites at Obantoko, Lafenwa, and Olomore vicinities of Abeokuta, Ogun State, Nigeria, were analysed in order to assess the effects of the dumps on the soils. Conventional analytical methods were employed for the determination of these physicochemical parameters while heavy metals in the soil samples where analysed using Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer. The results of the physicochemical analysis showed that the pH values in all the sites ranged from 8.21 to 8.61 indicating alkalinity of the soils. The Total Organic Carbon values ranged from 1.06 to 2.76 indicating presence of some organic matter and some microbiological activities in the soil samples. Conductivity values ranges from 875 to 1119?s/cm indicated significant presence of some soluble inorganic salts in soils studied. For all the physical chemical values recorded, the soil samples at Lafenwa had slightly higher values than those of Olomore, and Obantoko. The mean concentration level of the three locations for Pb for the top and subsoils in Obantoko, Lafenwa, and Olomore were 13.50 and 11.31, 7.64 and 12.44, 9.90 and 11.06 (mgkg-1) respectively and that of for top and subsoil for same locations were Cr 5.76 and 7.01, 7.64 and 12.44, and 4.65 and 6.86 (mgkg-1) while Pb were not detected at all locations except at Lafenwa L2 where 2.24 mgkg-1 was detected in the subsoil. The levels of the metals at the sub-soil were all higher than the top soil at all the locations, except for Obantoko were the value of Pb at the top soil was greater than the value at the subsoil. A consistent trend showing a decrease in the concentration of heavy metals at the topsoil was observed for soil samples. The results from the study show that leaching occurs at dumpsites from the top to the subsoil which could cause a degree of contamination to ground water and living organims. These soils may therefore constitute a major health risk to the local population, and therefore, need be stringent measures to curtail the adverse effect it may pose to human health and the environment.

This paper is concerned with the existence of solutions for some partial functional integrodifferential equations with state-dependent delay in Banachspaces. The results are obtained by using Leray-Schauder’s alternative fixed point theorem. Finally, an example is provided to illustrate the main results.

The story of agricultural revolution in developed world is incomplete without farm mechanisation. The giant of the world – the United States agricultural success story is also incomplete without farm mechanisation. Feeding a hungry world will be incomplete without farm mechanisation. Nevertheless, farm mechanisation, just like farm pesticides have challenged sustainable agriculture; especially in fragile tropical ecosystem. No matter the level United States has attained in agriculture, it is very difficult for them to fend solely for a world of over 6 billion people, targeted to hit 10 billion by 2050. It calls for collective action of all nations of the world. Farm mechanisation that is tailored to local, regional and national requirements are very crucial to solving world food problems. Farm mechanisation: ecological paradise or disaster ? Is a mind rubbing question that keeps us conscious of limitations and needs in our agricultural systems. An attempt have been made to answer the question in this review.

The topical route of administration is more effective route as compared to the oral route in the treatment of fungal infections of nail. The formulation objective was to provide a sustained release of antifungal drug over extended period of time, so as to reduce frequency of administration, improve clinical efficacy and improve patient compliance. The purpose of the present study was to formulate Ketoconazole nail lacquer containing two different penetration enhancers, for the treatment of onychomycosis and to find out which concentration of penetration enhancers gave better release of the drug. The formulation showed good non-volatile content, gloss, smoothness of flow, drug release, drug content estimation and antifungal activity. The in vitro studies were carried out in Franz diffusion cell using saline phosphate buffer (pH 7.4) as medium. Whereas the permeation studies were carried out using hooves membrane. The percentage cumulative drug released was determined by UV spectrophotometer. The formulation containing ethyl cellulose (10%w/v) and Thioglycolic acid (3%v/v) and Dimethyl sulfoxide (3%v/v) showed highest release of drug. FTIR studies revealed that drug and excipients are compatible. Stability studies was done as per ICH guidelines for 1 month, which revealed no significant change with respect to the evaluations conducted before stability charging. The sensitivity of Fluconazole against Candida albicans was determined by measuring zone of inhibition by comparing with the standard drug for onychomycosis treatment.

To survive and stand out in the new economy, the HRD climate is of fundamental substance to the Indian public sector organizations. The human resource of an organization must be best managed for its development and success. The economic development of a country can be achieved through exploration of natural resources, availability of physical and financial resources, and international aid. However, none of these factors is more significant than the efficient and committed manpower of the country. The present study investigates the status of HRD Climate that exists in the public sector of Indian Telecom Industry. A case study of BSNL has been done and the survey questionnaire technique has been employed to retrieve the respon ses of 125 employees working in the organization. Student t-test has been applied to examine the prevalent climate in the organization and to observe significant difference among them. Findings of the study highlights that there exist an average HRD Climate in public sector of Indian telecom industry.

A study was conducted to determine the content and distribution of total 0.1M HCl and diethylene triamine penta acetic acid (DTPA) extractable zinc (Zn) in the genetic horizons of six (6) profiles formed from Chanockite parent rock in Ekiti State. The content of Total Zn for all the soils varied from 28 to 84mg/kg. Most of the soils had the highest concentration of total Zn in the surface horizons. There was a strong association between total Zn and organic carbon. Available Zn determined with 0.1M HCL extractable was higher than DTPA-extractable Zn. The values from the two extractants show that available Zn is clearly deficient. There would be need for Zn application to the soils for successful and profitable crop production.

Mulberry, Morus Alba, (L.)Leaves are the predominant food source for silkworm, Bombyx mori rearing. Pink mealy bug infests the mulberry plants and cause Tukra diseases that leads to qualitative loss of mulberry plantation. Hence a preliminary study on protein profiles by SDS-PAGE was carried out using plant extracts as natural botanicals origin by spraying tukra infested mulberry leaves. The botanical extract sprayed to tukra infested mulberry leaves at earlier infection fed to the silkworms and its impact on protein profiles were assayed in tissues like silkgland, and haemolymph was studied. For the study, good healthy leaves(Control)and plant extracts viz., Azadirachta indica,Ocimum Sanctum,&parthenium hysterophorus were sprayed to tukra infested V1 mulberry variety and fed to Silkworm (CSR2 Bivoltine hybrid). The protein a profile has been characterized by the presence of bands when increased in all the tissues when fed with sprayed batch. There was no presence of some bands when fed with tukra fed batch. Foliar sprays of the extracts hold greater promise for control of tukra infested mulberry leaves and did not affect protein content in silkworms. This can sturdily suggest that the natural plant extract sprayed with infested mulberry leaves can be effectively utilized for the silkworm rearing instead of pesticides, insecticides for mulberry sericulturistes.

The study identifies the impact of inflation and foreign exchange rate on foreign direct investment in Pakistan. Inflation and exchange rates are used as independent variables and foreign direct investment is taken as dependent variable. Discreet time series data has been used from the period of 1999 to 2009. The results of regression analysis reveal that high inflation has negative impact on foreign direct investment and higher exchange rates has positive impact on foreign direct investment in Pakistan. The inflation and foreign exchange rates both are insignificant in the analysis.

Social network based-recommendation has some benefits that it approach used for improve of recommendation systems. Recommendation systems are appropriate tools for provide useful and suitable recommendations in social networks. However, in recent years researches has been done on recommender systems on social network, but there is the lack of a comprehensive study on the literature review and classification of these models. We reviewed the related articles and then classified those by the year of publication and their main techniques. The articles are categorized into four techniques, includes tag-based, context-based, social influence-based and trust-based recommendation system on social network. Our research provides information about trends in recommender systems on social network research by examining the publication years of the articles and used techniques, and show future direction on recommender systems on social network.
