Share Repurchase in Malaysia: Does Ownership Matter?
This study presents the impact of type of ownership structure on share repurchase for Malaysian listed companies by using the pooled panel data analysis for a period of six years (2005 to 2010). Findings from this study indicate that companies with government, foreign and managerial ownership have significant influence on share repurchase. It is concluded that the higher the government ownership, the higher the value of share repurchases transaction and vice versa. Meanwhile, there is an inverse relationship between foreign and managerial ownership; and share repurchase in Malaysia.

Impact of growth in agricultural sector on poverty level in Pakistan
The purpose of this study is to analyze the relationship between growth in agricultural sector and poverty in Pakistan. It explores that how much the poor people have gained from growth in agricultural sector of Pakistan by considering growth magnitude and benefits obtained by the poor people resulting from growth for the period of 1985 to 2005 through applying OLS Regression Technique. The results indicate that the variable of growth in agricultural sector is significantly and negatively associated with the variable of poverty, i.e., the growth in agricultural sector of Pakistan will result in reducing the level of poverty in Pakistan.

Behavior of small equity investors in Pakistan’s stock exchanges
This paper analyzes and investigates decision making process of equity investors for trading in stock exchanges of Pakistan. Survey research technique has been used to analyze the investors’ attitude about the market’s efficiency and to test different theories of traditional finance like efficient market hypotheses (EMH), rational investors and random walk hypothesis (RWH). The survey questionnaire forms were sent to 510 individuals identified as equity investors in stock exchanges of Pakistan, out of which 248 survey questionnaire forms have been received back. The results of descriptive statistics have indicated that investors are not completely rational individuals as supposed by theories of traditional finance.

Organizational commitment among women working on leadership positions in Saudi Arabia
The study aimed at examining the perception of organizational commitment of women working on leadership positions in Saudi Arabia, The three dimensions of organizational commitment including affective, continuance and normative commitment were looked at. The influence of demographic factors including age, experience, qualification, level of income and marital status on the organizational commitment was studied. It was a descriptive correlational study in which organizational commitment Questionnaire-OCQ was used to collect data. The study found that the level of women leaders’ organizational commitment was high with continuance commitment as the strongest form. Demographic variables of age, experience and income significantly influenced the organizational commitment of women leaders. This study is significant because of the insights it provides for the management to better understand the nature of organizational commitment of women leaders and develops an understanding of the commitment process to promote it among them in Saudi Arabia

Islamic banking and conventional banking in terms of profitability, liquidity and risk solvency -Comparative analysis between (2010-2014)
The Purpose of this research study is to measure the comparative financial performance of Islamic banking sector and conventional banking sector of Pakistan in terms of profitability, liquidity and risk & solvency. This research work also facilitate to all the stakeholders of Islamic banking sector and conventional banking sector including country heads of banks, branch managers, shareholders, creditors, investors, religious segment of population and regulatory bodies of Pakistan. Sample size consist of ten banks selected by using the conveyance sampling techniques including five leading Islamic banks (Meezan Bank, Bank Islami, Burj Bank, Dubai Islami Bank and Albarka Bank) and five conventional banks (MCB Bank Ltd, United Bank Ltd, Allied Bank Ltd, Habib Bank Ltd & Bank of the Punjab). The findings of the study indicated that conventional banking stream dominating on Islamic banking sector with respect to profitability at the cost of worst liquidity and high risk. Islamic banking sector dominated on conventional banking stream with reference to liquidity and risk & solvency at the cost of low profitability.

Role of Fishing on Economic Development of Somalia: Case Study of Lido Beach Mogadishu Somalia
The fishing sector contributes to development and growth in many countries, playing an important role for food security and nutrition, poverty reduction, employment, economic development and trade, fisheries and aquaculture provided livelihoods and income for an estimated 54.8 million people engaged in the primary sector of fish production in 2011. The marine fisheries of Somalia have generally held an important position in the Somali economy and culture. Somalia has a large coastline, covering 3,300 kilometers and a corresponding Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ) covering 39, 000 kilometers. In 1990, prior to the collapse of the Somali government, fisheries contributed 2 percent of the overall Gross Domestic Product (GDP), an estimated $15 million USD per annum, while providing over 18,000 tons of fish for human consumption. The research explores the role of fishers and aquaculture for sustainable development, economic growth and global food security. To determine employment in the fishing industry leads to economic development and the role of fishing in poverty alleviation in Somalia. Agriculture is one of the most important sectors of Somalis economy, the principal exports Somalia's Livestock are fish, charcoal, and bananas. Fisheries play an important role in the economy of Somalia in expanding food supply, raising nutritional level, generating employment, and in earning foreign exchange, in order to increase production of fisher industries. It is of this shortage of empirical evidence on the role of fishing in poverty alleviation that the study intends to reveal the role of fishing in economic development of Somalia as this will guide policy formulation on fishing.

Shareholders meetings as organs of corporate governance in Ethiopia
Shareholders are normally owners of the corporation’s assets and the fact that such assets are controlled by the management body is the cause for many of the problems dealt by corporate governance. Shareholders meeting as management organ can play sizeable roles in corporate governance. The problem addressed by this article is therefore what necessary measures can further strengthen the shareholders controlling mechanisms on the corporation upon which they invested their capital. Even though there are many theories concerning their roles in corporate democracy, none of them seem to win the battle. The query of the paper is how to enhance role of shareholders in corporate governance. The paper mainly uses doctrinal research method. Therefore the rules governing shareholders meetings should be well designed in a way of enabling them play their part. It may include access of electronic voting, possibility of voting by mail, facilitating sufficient information disclosure mechanisms, adopting advisory voting and the rules necessary to such vote, facilitating easy exit mechanism to shareholders dissatisfied by majority holders, introduction of stock exchange market could enhance shareholders governance role. Moreover possibility of derivative suits by shareholders is also another mechanism that should be available to them to promote control.
