Role of Indian Women in Arundhati Roy’s the God of Small Things
Arundhati Roy’s feminism is a trend setter for the new generation of feministic writers of India. Without losing the gentleness of a female she gives a strong call for the awakening of not only women but in general the entire human kind from its long sleep of ignorance. She dreams of a fragrant world full of beautiful flowers, where the polluted air of hatred and violence would have no entry. Indian women are studied in depth along with the plight of untouchables, lower class people, and racial subaltern’s vis-à-vis global, capitalism and neo-imperialism masquerading as globalization.

Experimental investigation of performance parameters of single cylinder diesel engine with lean coconut bio diesel-diesel blends as fuel
This paper discusses the performance characteristics of a single cylinder four stroke diesel engine using lean coconut biodiesel blended with diesel fuel. The experiments were carried out for the various biodiesel-diesel blends i.e., B5, B10, B15, and B20. Results were compared with the neat diesel. The blended biodiesel is being injected to cylinder and tested up to 20% blended biodiesel. The experiment ensures that up to 20% biodiesel blended with diesel can be used without any modification in the diesel engine and enhancement of combustion, FC, BSFC, efficiency and the overall performance of the engine.

Textbook evaluation: A Conscientious look at American English File Series
The purpose of the given paper is to evaluate American English File (hereafter AEF) series (1st ed.). In so doing, to achieve the very purpose, Daoud and Celce-Murica’s 1979 attitude questionnaire was administrated to 50 EFL learners and 20 teachers in a popular language center, located in Bandare –e Anzali, Iran. The questionnaire aimed to elicit the agreement or disagreement of both learners and teachers on a Likert-scale. Based on the findings, it could be concluded that teachers had higher rating in comparison to the students for all the items. In general, there were significant differences between teachers and students in their attitude towards the textbook. Through this investigation, it is hoped that curriculum developers, before selecting a new material, make sure that it is able to meet both the students and the teachers’ need.

Watershed management of dal lake catchment (J&K) based on erosion intensity hazard using geospatial technique
Watershed management is the optimal use of soil and water resources within a given geographical area so as to enable sustainable production.Watershed prioritization has gained importance in natural resources management, especially in the context of watershed management. Erosion intensity analysis has been commonly applied to prioritization of watersheds. The investigation of basins for planning soil conservation requires a selective approach to identify smaller hydrological units, which would be suitable for more efficient and targeted conservation management programme. One criterion, generally used to determine the vulnerability of catchments to erosion, is the erosion intensity mapping. The quantitative analysis of erosion intensity is an important aspect of characterization of watersheds. Using micro-watershed as a basic unit in erosion intensity analysis is the most logical choice because all hydrologic and geomorphic processes occur within the watershed. The present study makes an attempt to prioritize twenty five micro-watersheds of Dal lake catchment of Srinagar district, Jammu and Kashmir, based on erosion intensity analysis, using remote sensing and Geographical Information System. Accordingly twenty five micro-watersheds have been classified into four categories based on very severe erosion intensity unit as very high, high, medium and low in terms of priority for conservation and management. The result of the erosion intensity analysis has revealed that micro-watersheds DMW1, DMW5, DMW7, DMW9 and DMW23 fall under very severe erosion class and are more susceptible to soil erosion and hence technical measures has been suggested for the very high priority micro-watershed.

Moderated mediation using partial least square structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM)
Moderated mediation has been proven to be one of the useful techniques in providing powerful analysis in many research areas such as social science, statistics, marketing, health science and others. By using secondary data obtained from Trends In Mathematics and Science Study (TIMSS), moderated mediation analysis is used to determine the significance difference of direct effect and total effect including indirect effect of exogenous latent constructs toward endogenous latent construct through mediator latent construct between moderator; male and female samples. From the Moderation Analysis, it is found that there is no significant difference between male and female samples in the direct effect of all exogenous latent constructs toward endogenous latent construct. The same result obtained in Moderated Mediation Analysis where there is no significant difference between male and female samples in the total effect including indirect effect from all exogenous latent constructs toward endogenous latent construct through mediator latent construct.

New Innovations in Periodontal Diagnosis: A Review
Diagnosis is the identification of the nature of an illness or other problem by examination of the symptoms. The ability to correctly diagnose and assess periodontal disease has received considerable attention in the last decade. Traditional clinical diagnostic methods such as periodontal probing, probing attachment level and radiographs are suitable for most clinical situations but do suffer from a number of drawbacks such as clinical or radiological measurements of attachment loss are not precisely accurate and if not carried out very carefully can be misleading. Recent innovations in periodontal diagnostic techniques have overcome these limitations.

Identification of Groundwater Potential Zones by Geophysical Surveys in Naguleru Sub-Basin, Guntur District, Andhra Pradesh, India
Geophysical exploration using electrical resistivity surveys have been taken up as method to delineate the thickness and resistivities of different layers and identification of potential zones for groundwater development in Naguleru Sub-Basin of Guntur District, Andhra Pradesh, India. It is part of Cuddapah Basin of Peninsular India. Vertical Electrical Sounding were carried out up to 100 meters with 1/2 meter electrode spacing. The absolute resistivity values in the first layer of these formations range from 2 to 160 ohm-meters. and thickness ranges from 1.2 to 29meters, second layer ranges from 4 to 1160 ohm-meters and thickness ranges from 1.3 to 38.4 meters. The third layer commonly represents hard rock displaying the resistivity values ranging from 7 to 1621 ohm-meters to as high as infinite. The co-efficient of anisotropy varies from 1 to 2.59 and the spatial distribution of anisotropy values correlate with the water table fluctuation data. Groundwater potential zones have been demarcated by using interpreted geophysical analysis.

The strategic role of mergers and acquisitions in the growth of a company – the study of Ghana Telecom and Vodafone, (UK)
Excellent companies have clear missions and strategic intent; they have core competencies and the intense dedication of their staff enable them to match these against customer needs. Through mergers and acquisitions a firm stands a chance to build on its achievement and surpass their competitors. The primary sources of long term profitability are talents or resources that competitors cannot imitate. Abilities or resources that are easily copied soon lose their value. But the core competencies, competitive advantages and synergies (mergers) that inhere in a tight configuration and very hard to imitate. Mergers creatively combine many elements that mutually reinforce one another. This makes merging difficult to duplicate/copy. From the research conducted, it was concluded that highly merged organisations possess a clear sense of direction. Their goals inspire, their strategies are clear, and their efforts are well targeted. So employees are committed and co-ordination is graceful. Merging present advantages and get firms with distinctive competencies and product/service that key competitors cannot imitate. Mergers can be as great competitive advantage as any other aspect of strategy.

Study the Otoacoustic Emission Generation by using Nonlinear Model
The Previous studies have shown evidence for the presence the quality factor of otoacoustic emissions models and it's role, in this work we study the effect by using different values of the quality factor, so we take the values of the quality factor (Q=5, 10, 20, 30, 40 and 50) The results suggest that reflections generation of the otoacoustic emissions from roughness are behaved two parts with respect to the value of the quality factor (Q), we found with low value (Q=5 and 10) the generation of the reflectivity is less than with high values of the quality factor ( Q = 20, 30, 40 and 50) therefore the reflectivity is depend on the value of quality factor.
