Statistical classifier with barcode based feature vectors for numerals recognition
Selection of feature extraction method is most important factor in achieving high recognition performance in automatic pattern recognition systems. Similarly selection of suitable classifier also plays a very important role for the same. Plenty of feature selection methods and classifiers are existing in computer domain and choice of each of these mainly depends on task in hand. This paper presents an efficient and novel method for recognition of handwritten numerals using bar codes. Handwritten numerals are scan converted to binary images and normalized to a size of 30 x 30 pixels. The features are extracted using barcodes and are classified successfully using the statistical technique.

Statistical methods and complexity of data analysis in recent surgical research
To specify the types of statistical methods, currently most influencing high-quality surgical research, we systematically reviewed original research articles published in The American Journal of Transplantation, Annals of Surgery, Liver Transplantation and The American Journal of Surgical Pathology. We further aimed to determine complexity of data analysis in these journals. Of 518 papers reviewed, 74.7% (95%CI 70.7-78.4) contained methods of inferential statistics. Most frequently used inferential methods among all journals, were basic contingency table analysis, including c²-tests and Fisher’s exact tests, and methods of survival analysis, with observed frequencies of 39.6% (95%CI 35.3-43.9) and 30.7% (95%CI 26.8-34.9), respectively. Other commonly used procedures were nonparametric techniques and t-tests. Complexity of data analysis was rather sophisticated in The American Journal of Transplantation, Annals of Surgery and Liver Transplantation, with more than 50% of papers using advanced statistical techniques. However, nearly 65% of papers from The American Journal of Pathology were purely descriptive, without any analytical power. Our results indicate that more emphasises should be given to the magnitude of treatment differences and to statistical estimation techniques than to solely rely upon uncritical significance testing. Moreover, authors should be encouraged to further utilize new statistical methodology in their research.

Structural and optical properties of nanocrystalline pbs thin films prepared by chemical bath deposition method.
Nanocrystalline PbS thin films were prepared by chemical bath deposition (CBD) method by varying synthesis temperatures. The influence of the synthesis temperature on the structure and optical properties of PbS nanostructures were investigated. The X-ray diffraction (XRD) pattern of the PbS nanostructures correspond to the various planes of a single phase cubic PbS. It was observed that the decrease in the synthesis temperature resulted into extra diffraction peaks which may be due to the presence of the impurity phases. The morphological properties of the films are observed by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) characterization. UV-Visible spectroscopy is done to measure the absorption and transparent properties of all the prepared systems. The optical band gap of all the prepared systems is also calculated and correlated with the structural properties.

Structural Insight into molecular model of hypothetical protein from Trichomonas vaginalis: A Computational Approach
Hypothetical proteins predicted from nucleic acid and which have not shown any chemical evidence in the genome. In this study, we elaborated the functional and structural molecular model of the hypothetical protein of Trichomoniasis vaginalis. Functional annotation was carried out by using Pfam, SMART, CDD and BLAST. The conceptual three-dimensional structure has been investigated, since there was no structure available in any of the databases. We predicted the structure of hypothetical protein in Trichomonas vaginalis by using the comparative modeling approach. Molecular dynamics simulation was used to characterize its structural and dynamic feature at 10 ns by using the GROMACS. In the end the simulated model was validated with different web servers SAVES, WHAT IF, PorSA, iPAB. We observed this hypothetical protein was involved in asparagine biosynthesis performing catalytic activity. These findings are essential in reducing the gap between the deficiencies of annotation and crucial biosynthetic pathways and may be endorse in relational drug designing of molecules of structure function studies.

Synthesis and Characterization of Transition Metal Complexes of Cu(II), Ni(II), Co(II) and VO(IV) with Tetradentate Ligands derived from substituted Acetophenone and Benzophenone
Two tetradentate Schiff base ligands, N,N´-bis(2-hydroxy-5-methoxyacetophenone) ethylenediimine (MaenH2) and N,N´-bis(2-hydroxy-4-methoxybenzophenone) ethylenediimine(MbenH2) were formed by 1:2 molar condensation of ethylenediamine with 2-hydroxy-5-methoxyacetophenone and 2-hydroxy-4-methoxybenzophenone respectively. These Schiff base ligands formed complexes (1:1 molar ratio) with Copper, Nickel, Cobalt and Oxovanadium ions. The complexes were characterized by Infrared, Electronic Spectra and elemental analysis. The spectra data of the ligands and their complexes were discussed based on the structural changes which occur due to complexation. The results suggest that the metal is bonded to the ligand through the phenolic oxygen and the imino nitrogen.

The Impact of Knowledge Management on Customer Relationship Management: The Case of Resalat Qard Al- Hasan Bank’s branch in Kermanshah province
The term “Customer Relationship Management” was publicly mentioned for the first time in 1960 by management professors such as Peter Drucker and Theodore Levitt. Customer access to various channels of information and data distribution, and presenting goods for selecting a product in a compact and highly competitive environment in the market, have reduced their loyalty towards suppliers. For this reason, the question of how to effectively communicate with clients and their survival is one of the most important issues in Durability and stability of companies in the area of competitiveness and profitability. Considering the key role of knowledge management (KM) and customer relationship management (CRM) and their strategic effect in today’s competitive world. The main goal of this study the effect of customer knowledge management on customer relationship management in selected branches of Resalat Qard Al- Hasan Bank is a province. There for, whilst a review about the subject literature, a questionnaire was set and verbal to 224 person who were statistical society members. (140 person from Kermanshah Resalat Qard Al- Hasan bank branches). The collected data were arrived in Spss and software after coding. To determine being normal, the data obtained of Colmogroph-Smirnoph was applied and confirmed the results of being normal test. Hypothesizes of the study were examined by performing of Spearman correlation test and their significant and positive effects were proved, this means that knowledge management totally has a direct and significant relation with organizational commitment and professional commitment., results of structural equations ultimately, results of structural equations model with variance estimation square root, is confirmed approximation error less that 0-10 and fit suitability indicators more than 0.9 of model suitability, and the ratio of "k2 to freedom degree" being less that 5, also confirmed the model credit, totally, it showed that, structural equation ,model totality, the influence of customer knowledge management on customer relationship management between Kermanshah Melat bank personnel’s is confirmed.

The interplay of locus of control and Iranian EFL high school learner`s language achievement
Locus of control in social psychology refers to the extent to which individuals believe that they can control events that affect them. The purpose of the study was to determine the relationships between locus of control (LOC) orientation and high school student`s language achievement. The dichotomous categorization of Internals and Externals was taken into account. The participants of this study were 121 high school students in the second, third and pre university grades in a two high school of Iran. The instrument used in the study was the revised version of Julian Rotters` locus of control (2003) which identified internal and external orientations. The participants’ English scores were regarded as the measure of their achievement. A questionnaire consisting of 29 items was administered to all 121 students. Responses were analyzed through one way and two way ANOVA, the regression analysis, the independent t-test and chi-square and linear regression analysis to determine the means on two sets of scores. The findings of this study showed a significant relationship between locus control and achievement of high school students in Iran. The findings can be used by English as a Foreign Language, students, teachers, curriculum developers, syllabus designers and testing specialists.

The rupture of patella tendon about ten cases
Patellar tendon rupture is a rare disease. It is often confused with lesions of the quadriceps tendon, fins and patellar fractures parcel of the patella. We report ten cases of rupture of the patellar tendon which eight were new and two neglected. Treatment was always surgical. In recent lesions (8 cases) by a simple suture nonabsorbable suture was performed, it was reinforced by a steel strapping over. Plasty further by the semitendinosus tendon was necessary in one case. In both cases neglected plasty was necessary. It was conducted by the aponeurosis of the quadriceps in one case, the tendon of the semitendinosus in the other cases. The results are satisfactory. They are good in eight cases of recent lesion and two lesions in ways neglected. Early diagnosis is easy. It allows access to the best results in the treatment of fresh lesions. The treatment of neglected injuries, despite the various techniques, gives results fair or poor.
