Simple electrocoagulation set up using cloth filter for arsenite removal from aqueous solution
Electrocoagulation is an emerging water treatment technology that has been applied successfully to treat various wastewaters such as potable water, urban wastewater, heavy metal laden wastewater, restaurant wastewater, and colored water. Electrocoagulation offers possibility of anodic oxidation and in situ generation of adsorbents (such as hydrous ferric oxides, hydroxides of aluminum) on which As(III) might be oxidized to As(V) gets adsorbed on to the metal hydroxides (HFO) generated. Therefore, electrocoagulation would be a better choice for arsenic removal from water. In the present study an attempt has been done to develop a simple process employing electrocoagulation with iron electrodes and separation of HFO has been achieved by cloth filtration. Arsenic laden water is passed through a double layer cotton cloth in 2 L volume beaker at flow rate 44ml/min with current 0.2 ampere at pH 7.0. Results show that arsenic levels below 50 ?g/L would e achieved which is drinking water standard in India and Bangladesh.

Solitary fibrous tumor and parathyroid adenoma: Case report
Solitary fibrous tumor (TFS) is a rare tumor. It is localized preferentially at the pleura. Other locations have been described. These are peritoneal, bronchopulmonary, orbital and mediastinal locations. We report the case of a 49-year-old patient followed for parathyroid adenoma who presented with bone pain, muscle pain, fatigue, dry cough and dyspnea. The clinical examination was without abnormality. Chest X-ray showed a superior mediastinal opacity. Cervicothoracic computed tomography indicated a mass at the lower right pole of the thyroid and a tissue process of the upper mediastinum. A cervicotomy was performed for the removal of the parathyroid adenoma. On the other hand, an attempt at dissection of the mediastinal mass by the cervical route was inconclusive, and a manubriotomy was necessary for its extraction. The histo-pathological study confirmed the parathyroid adenoma for the cervical mass; and solitary fibrous tumor for the mass of the superior mediastinum.

Solving Linear and Nonlinear Schrodinger Equations Using Mixture of Kamal Transform and Homotopy Perturbation Method
In this article, the homotopy perturbation method (HPM) and Kamal transform are introduced for obtaining the approximate analytical solution of the Linear and Nonlinear Schrodinger Equations. The proposed method is an elegant combination of the new integral transform “Kamal Transform” and the homotopy perturbation method.

Some believes about the birth and the new born (Case Study Lamerd City South of Iran)
This article study believes of the birth and the new born. Some of them tell us how to support and take care of a pregnant woman and some believes tell us how to recognize whether the fetus is boy or girl. They believe according to child behavior and appearance, they can predict child future. Doing magic and resorting to wizardry for preventing the bad event which may happen to the mother and the newborn in this research is so noticeable.

Spectroscopic (FT-IR, FT-Raman, NMR) investigations, MEP and Magnetic Susceptibility of 2,3-d\Diphenyl-5-(thiophen-2-ylmethylidene)-2,5-dihydro-1,2,4-triazin-6(1H)-one
In the present work, a combined experimental and theoretical study on ground state molecular structure, spectroscopic and nonlinear optical properties of the thiophene derivative 2,3-d\Diphenyl-5-(thiophen-2-ylmethylidene)-2,5-dihydro-1,2,4-triazin-6(1H)-one is reported. The entire quantum chemical calculations and optimized structural parameters like bond lengths and bond angles, vibrational frequencies and optimized geometry have performed at DFT/B3LYP method with cc-pVDZ and cc-pVTZ basis sets using the Gaussian 09W program package. The calculated results show that the optimized geometry parameters, the theoretical vibrational frequencies and chemical shift values show good agreement with experimental values. The FTIR and FT Raman spectra of the title compound have been recorded in the regions 4000 – 400 cm -1 and 3500 – 100 cm-1, respectively. The calculated harmonic vibrational frequencies have been compared with experimental FT-IR and FT- Raman spectra. The observed and calculated frequencies are found to be in good agreement. In addition, Mulliken atomic charges, local reactivity descriptors such as local softness (sk), Fukui function (fk), global electrophilicity and nucleophilicity of the title compound were calculated and discussed. Besides HOMO–LUMO energy gap and molecular electrostatic potential map were performed. 1H and 13C NMR isotropic chemical shifts are evaluated experimentally. Magnetic susceptibility has been determined for various range of temperature.

Storytelling and reading comprehension: a case study
The current study aimed at investigating the effect of storytelling on the development of Iranian EFL learners’ reading comprehension. Accordingly, sixty out of one hundred and thirty EFL learners based on their scores in the proficiency test were selected as the subject of this study and randomly classified into experimental and control group. Each group in each level consisted of thirty learners. All the conditions especially teaching materials were kept equal and fixed at each level, except for the EG the subjects reading was thought through story telling. At the end of the experiment both groups, experimental and control, were given a reading comprehension posttest. The post scores of both groups in were compared using a t-test to discover if there was any significant difference in reading comprehension between two groups. The results of the study showed that due to story telling a significant difference was found in reading comprehension development between the experimental and control groups at the level of .05.

Structural, Optical and Magnetic Studies of CdTiCoFe2O4 Nanoparticles by Sol-Gel Method
Promising future applications of ferrite nanoparticles in medicine, making many devices like permanent magnets, memory storage devices etc. Ferrite nanoparticles have been the emerging focus of the recent scientific research. In the present investigation Cadmium Titanium Cobalt ferrites (CdTiCoFe2O4) is synthesized by Sol-Gel method. This approach is simple, faster, eco-friendly, cost effective and suitable for large scale production. These synthesized ferrites are characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), FTIR, UV–VIS spectroscopic techniques and Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM). The crystalline nature and the structure of the synthesized nanoferrites are confirmed from X-Ray diffraction analysis. The ferrite powders showed XRD line broadening peaks and the average particle size of the materials is calculated as 8.7027 nm using Scherer formula. The strain (?) and dislocation density (?) of the materials are also calculated from XRD data. The optical band energy (Eg) at the edge of absorption band has been determined by the Tauc relation using UV-VIS spectroscopic data. The magnetic properties are studied using Vibrating Sample Magnetometer at room temperature and it is found that this study shows a ferromagnetic behavior of the synthesized ferrites. This significant property allows this type of ferrites can be used in fabrication of magnetic and energy storage media.

Students satisfaction with campus facilities
The study was designed to examine the students’ satisfaction with the existing facilities provided by their university. Main objective of the study was to weigh students satisfaction related with skills based educational experience, university resource and personal development. The population of study was comprised of public university. Random sampling technique was used to draw representative sample from the population and sample size was 100. A questionnaire was used as the instrument for data collection. The questionnaire was comprised of 30 questions which were categorized into four categories to measure students satisfaction related to areas of skills development, university resources, educational experiences and personal development. The collected data was tabulated, analyzed and interpreted in the light of objectives of the study. Results revealed that students are overall satisfied with university resource, than other variables of satisfaction. Most of the students are satisfied with the aspect of university resources which includes library resources, use of AV aids, internet and computer facilities, photocopy shop and parking.
