Toda embroidery is a genetic specialty which is set apart by its geometric themes and delightful completion, it seems like a woven material; however, in the specific structure, it is weaving that is performed on cotton fabric with red and dark woolen threads. This particular style of weaving is privately known as "Pugur" or "Pukhoor. The reason for this work is to revive and report the weaving of Toda. In India Toda is found in Nilgiri area in Tamilnadu state. Toda clans are acclaimed for their conventional weaving called Toda weaving, which is less notable as an art for the outside world. This study was conducted with the aim of studying toda's fine artistic values, studying the relationship between toda, fabric structure, the revival and documentation of embroidery Toda to excute fashion accessories. This study will be a stage forward to carry new measurements to the world of fashion design.

Education is bound to be affected if safety and security concerns of students are not addressed fully. The objective of the study was to determine the role of financial resources in implementation of school safety measures in public boarding secondary schools in Trans- Nzoia County, Kenya. The study used descriptive survey research design. The study targeted 754 teachers from 40 public boarding secondary schools in Trans-Nzoia County. stratification and simple random sampling were used to select boarding secondary schools. The total sample was 143 teachers. Questionnaires were used as data collection instruments. Data was analysed using descriptive statistical techniques that were frequencies and percentages. Data was presented in tables. The study found out the ministry of education had no provisions for allocation of funds to take care of safety needs and requirements in the institutions. It ascertained that the secondary schools have vote heads allocated for the purpose of catering for the safety needs and requirements though in many instances the schools diverted the funds to other needs that they felt were more pressing owing to situation of shortfalls in financing and budgetary deficits. The government through the Ministry of Education should ensure that Standard Safety Guidelines are availed to all schools and the schools be allocated sufficient funds to be able to implement the guidelines. Funds should always be availed at the required times to allow for the provision of infrastructure for safety requirements and the allowing of purchase of tools and implements for safety needs.

The movement of people from one society to another society is called migration, this may be contemporary or permanent basis. This study assessed the consequences of rural-urban migration on the source region of Ughievwen clan in Ughelli South Local Government Area. secondary sources data were collected from journal publications and other published materials from textbooks and official gazette. The findings of the study show that females migrate more than the males in Ughievwen and migration is high within the age cohorts of 15-25 years and 26-35 years. Moreso, migration decreases with age, and this may be due to the higher psychological cost for migration associated with older people. Most of the persons in the community had acquired just their basic education. Thus, most of them are willing to migrate to major cities to obtain higher education. It has been widely observed that the propensity to migrate increases with education. Furthermore, the study revealed that migration is affected by socioeconomic, demographic and cultural factors. It was recommended that functional social amenities such as electricity, pipe borne water should be provided in the rural areas as a way forward against rural-urban movement

ILO protocols contain fundamental values of labor laws. Since labor laws are devised by human identity and non-ideological to support workers and to mitigate real inequalities in legal relationship between client and workers, such protocols can be used as efficient criteria to measure and value labor laws domestic norms. In this vein, radical ILO protocols on labor associations and their negotiations with clients are highly important due to their natures. Studying radical protocols on “collective negotiations and treaties” and “expanding collective negotiations” indicates that it is sufficiently attempted in Iranian legal system to execute general principles of such documents in labor laws related issues. Some attempts have come to conclusions while others are yet far from achieving relevant standards

The aim of this study is to investigate Study of effect of selected program swimming on improving performance employees in Mobarakeh steel complex. Among 62000 intermediate category employees, 30 persons were randomly selected and divided into two groups, experimental group and control. in the first stage of study , one questionnaire was made with 30 questions that measured factors of improving practical performance and relations , creativity and enforcing practical contribution and self confidence and distributed between these experimental and control group and then they were completed , after that experimental group participated regularly in practical programs of swimming for 8 weeks with sessions and every session 1 hour and 15 min and after finishing practical period , they were examined by a test data were analyzed and following results obtained. The result shows that level of improving practical performance in experimental group in last test has meaningful effect than control group. (p<0.01). It is shown that selected practices of swimming have meaningful effect on practical performance and relations, creativity and enforcing practical contribution and self confidence. (p<0.01). This study shows generally meaningful effect on performance Mobarakeh steel employees and it is necessary that spread programs are presented for all productive industries employees and finally cause to increase products both qualitatively and quantitatively.

The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of instruction on the pragmatic use of Iranian learners on the speech act of request. The benefits of instruction on learners’ production and awareness of speech acts is well documented ( Alcón and Martínez-Flor, 2008). The subjects of this study were 40 upper- intermediate students at Arian Language Institute in Gorgan, Iran. They were learning English in an EFL context. The data were collected using discourse completion task (DCT) tests following Kasper and Dahl (1991: 9) formats. The data, then were rated using two native speakers. Hudson et al.’s (1995) rating scale was used to train the raters. In order to analyze the data t test was performed with mean level of students’ scores as dependent variable and instruction as a grouping variable. The findings revealed that Iranian learners performed significantly better in experimental group for speech act of request.

The aim of this study is to optimize or exploit the use of land in around the city of Jakarta (Jabodetabek) area with eight principles of Transit Oriented Development (TOD) namely walkable, cycle, connect, transit or public transport, shift & transit, mixed use development, and compact. This research is a literature study with more in-depth interviews, and a triangulation process. In-depth interviews are carried out with some resource persons from the transportation regulator. The result shows the very high need for TOD area around the new and existing transit stations which are served by a regular and efficient transit system.

Unfortunately, today's society emphasizes the false, ugly and indecent more than the true, the beautiful and the good, and this is what makes it difficult for many women to dress in a fashionable way. The degree of violence in Nigeria’s Niger Delta has become endemic and are too far-reaching to be ignored: for the inhabitants of this area, there are constant environmental hazards and security threat, The study, therefore, examined the community relations strategies used by oil companies in managing the crises in the Niger Delta. The study population comprised the community relations units of oil companies in the Niger Delta (among which Shell, Chevron and Agip were selected) and the indigenes of Omoku and Obrikom communities in Rivers State and Eruemukohwarien, Tisun and Kolokolo communities in Delta State. Both quantitative (survey) and qualitative (key informant interview and focus group discussion) methods of data collection were employed. The respondents for the survey were randomly selected while those for the interviews and focus groups were purposively selected. The study established that conflicts between oil companies and host communities had serious implications for the two parties and that the community relations strategies adopted by the selected oil companies were not adequate in preventing and resolving conflicts in the Niger Delta. That was because there was a lacuna between the strategies the oil companies believed host communities preferred for conflict resolution and the ones actually preferred by those communities.The research, therefore, recommend that to reduce conflict between oil companies and host communities in the Niger Delta, companies should be mindful of conflict propelling factors identified by the respondents and stated in the work, they should improve on their community relations strategies in order to impress the community and most importantly, they should introduce grassroots approach to the implementation of their strategies.
