Pure and divalent metal ion Mg 2+ doped Copper sulphate and Potassium Dichromate crystals have been grown from aqueous solution by slow evaporation technique. The pure copper sulphate and pure potassium dichromate crystals were noted as CUS and KDC. Powder X-ray diffraction studies confirmed the phase formation and magnesium ions doping into KAP crystals. The presence of functional groups in the crystal has been observed by FTIR analysis. Optical transmission studies were carried out by allowing the UV-Vis ray of wavelength between 200 and 1100 nm was pass through the (010) face of the grown crystals. The optical transmission studies reveal that the pure and magnesium ion doped copper sulphate crystals were better transmission in the wave length region of 350 nm to 550 nm. In the case of pure and doped potassium dichromate crystals transmission was better in the wavelength region of 550 nm to 1100 nm. Optical transmission is found to be decreases in pure and magnesium ion doped copper sulphate crystals from 550 nm to 800 nm and above 800 nm it was increases up to 1100 nm.SHG efficiency of all these crystals were not active. The grown crystals were also subjected to FTIR and microhardness studies.

As our life becomes more complex, effective communication is vital in our life. In an organization, communication is an essence. Communication means transference and the understanding of meaning or an idea that is transmitted and understood by others. This paper seeks to understand how effective communication plays its role in an organization. The concept of 7Cs in communication which include completeness, conciseness, consideration, concreteness, clarity, courtesy and correctness are discussed and how this concept can be used to improve communication as well as productivity of an organization. By understanding the concept of 7Cs, it will be a good use for the managers to apply this concept in communicating with the employees thus improving the productivity of an organization.

The purpose of this study, the effectiveness of therapy play on social skills development in the district of Qasr-e Shirin was in the sixth grade students. Quasi-experimental methods, experimental and control groups, and using pre-test - post-test. The subjects, who were 40 in the sixth grade students, multi-stage cluster sampling from three schools of Qasr-e Shirin district, was selected in 2015, and in the experimental group and control group. Measuring devices in this study were social skills Gresham & Elliot, form teacher. The study design was conducted 12 sessions on experimental group, but the control group received no intervention, and one month later, the test was performed on both groups. Data were analyzed using independent t test, the results showed that, post_ the growth of social skills, including cooperation, self-discipline and assertiveness were made. The results showed that the functional role of therapy play is the development of social skills of students. The results of usability, and effectiveness of therapy play, social skills training and development of students, confirms.

In this paper, we have formulated a mathematical model for the transmission dynamics of an infectious disease in a certain community. The model allows for the individuals to move from the exposed phase to the infected phase. The model exhibits two equilibria, namely, the disease free equilibrium and the endemic equilibrium. The stability of these two equilibria points is controlled by the basic reproductive number R0 which was determined using the next generation matrix approach. Using the eigenvalue elasticity analysis, it was found that the parameter denoted by ? (transmission coefficient) has the greatest impact on the formulated mathematical model which must be put into consideration by the health care policy makers in order to reduce or eradicate the spread of the infectious disease in the community.

Compassion is essential in providing good nursing care because the compassionate care benefits patients with regard to treatment, wound healing, satisfaction and well-being; it benefits physicians with regard to lowered depression rates, elevated meaning, lower burnout, and more diligent technical care; it benefits healthcare systems that establish reputational gains at no greater use of time or resources; it benefits medical students with regard to their diminished complaints of abusive clinical environments and maladaptive team interactions. Thus the compassionate care has many dimensions of beneficial impact.

This study is descriptive and analytical that using a library research tool attempts to analyze the impact on the historic context of the cities that are global, in that order. To assess the effectiveness of naturally prepared galactogogue mix on breast milk production and prolactin levels in postnatal mothers. Natural Fenugreek and Garlic based Galactogogue mixes were formulated and standardized. Organoleptic evaluation of the same mixes was also conducted by a ten panel members. Followed by this, 30 mother-infant pairs were assigned into 3 groups. Group I (n=10) consisted of mothers who were receiving galactagogue mix containing fenugreek every day, Group II (n=10) consisted of mothers who were receiving galactagogue mix containing garlic every day and Group 3 (n=10) were assigned as control group. The intervention was carried out for seven days, the baseline and post treatment serum prolactin levels of the mothers were determined using a standard protocol. Organoleptic scores of Garlic galactogogue mix was superior than Fenugreek galactogogue mix attributing to its bitter taste. The mean measured serum prolactin levels of the mothers who received galactagogue mixes were higher than the control group (p<0.05). Galactogogue mixes using natural ingredients especially fenugreek seeds were found be highly acceptable and supplementation of these galactagogue mixes seems to be useful for enhancing breast milk production.

The association between fruit and vegetables (FVs) consumption and hypertension risk remains controversial. This study aims to validate a short screener of FVs intake on the Lebanese population. Based on the data collected, FVs consumption was analyzed accordingly to compare the intake between hypertensive and normotensive subjects.Cross-sectional study conducted in the greater area of Beirut. Subjects recruited were Lebanese citizens (N=300) aging 35 years old and above adjusted for age (N=150 participants < 65 years old and N= 150 participants ?65 years old) and gender (equally distributed between men and women). Descriptive Statistics, Chi Square test, Alpha Cronbach test, and Binary Logistic tests were conducted. FV consumption was high in subjects with hypertension compared to normotensive subjects who have low adherence to the 5 servings/day of FV recommendations. Also, there was no difference observed between genders concerning FV intake. The internal consistency test shows that the questions used in this questionnaire were not consistent thus; some modifications should be implemented to adjust this questionnaire appropriately to the population studied.High fruits and vegetables intake was associated with an increased risk of hypertension. While the mechanism of blood pressure variation via fruit and vegetable consumption is not yet clear, selective consumption of healthy foods and nutrients, maintaining a healthy body weight, and staying physically active may lead to prevention and treatment of hypertension. As for the questionnaire’s validity, more culturally adapted options should be added to the screener in a way that satisfies FV consumption of the Arabian world in general, and that of the Lebanese population specifically.

Genotoxic potentials of three commonly used medicinal plants (Cola nitida, Ocimum gratissimum and Monodora myristica) were assessed on D. melanogaster. Eight generations of D. melanogaster were cultured on over-ripe banana paste with inclusion levels of 0, 2, 4, 6, 8 and 10% (w/w) of the medicinal plants. Mutation rates both on the wing structure and body colouration were dose-dependent and generation-specific; as increase in the dose of treatment, increases the mutation rates as well as the higher the generations. The degree of effects on these structures was also plant-specific, with followed the trend; C. nitida > O. gratissimum > M. myristica. The result revealed that the medicinal plants have genotoxic potentials with C. nitida having the greatest effects; hence they should be consumed with caution.

In a typical class room with students of different learning styles and influences due to cultural or social factors, monitoring the individual student can be enhanced by going through their interaction with each other through a collaborative learning approach. We propose a model of two types of collaborations. The first allows dynamical grouping driven by the students’ performance within heterogeneous (mixing high, medium, low marks achievers) or homogeneous (similar marks achievers). The second type consists of static groups (the students agreed to form fixed groups, not moving from one group to another group). We have applied the two types of model in constructing the knowledge for Java coding for application development through collaborative learning process in which each student has a more or less equal role in bringing out the outputs for the laboratory exercises. Our results prove that the static groups have significant effect in spite of the presence of extra encouragement for participating in dynamic grouping. This result establishes, especially in the context of rural learners in, the evidence of gaining educational benefits from the social interactions and cultural factors.
