The present study was carried out to investigate the effect of key word method on the retention rate of Iranian EFL learners. Thus far, the studies on the efficiency of key-word method, as a strategy of vocabulary learning, have indicated mixed results, and reached no conclusive findings. To carry out the study, 40 students were chosen from among university students registered for English classes in Isfahan University. They were all pretested to make sure that they did not know the target words that were supposed to be taught in order to find out their retention rates. All the learners were divided into two groups: one key-word method group (KWMG) and one rehearsal method group (RMG). The same set of words was taught to both groups. For the first group, we used key-word method and we let the students to choose and use their own key words, which would lead to deeper processing of information, in order to enhance long term retention. For the second group only rehearsing of the new words was used. At the end of experiment, two tests were administered: one immediate test to check out their short term retention and one delayed post test to measure their long-term recall. The results of the study have shown no significant difference in short term retention but with regard to long-term retention, the Key-word method group students outperformed the rehearsal group. In addition, in a semi- structured interview with key word method group students, it was revealed that they show a great interest in the method, and maintained that they would opt for the method when memorizing other words.

In this study, the effects of seven nanofilm types on organoleptic properties have been investigated and microbial counts of packed volume bread have been studied. Packed of volume bread has been evaluated due to 21 days at three temperatures. Microbial counting was done in 5°C, 20°C and 35°C in fourteenth day. The results analysis indicated that the main factors such as film type, storage temperature and duration had significant effect on the bread staling rate. The lowest and highest staling rate was observed at SC3 film and control regular respectively. With the increasing nanosilver percentage, the total number of microbes declined. In three temperatures greatest number of total germs and mold was related to the control regular. Lowest and the most number of total molds and microbes was found in 5°C and 35°C respectively. Therefore, the SC3 hybrid nanofilm, has been recognized as the best film for keeping bread more fresh.

The menace of industrial pollution has been haunting the human world in the past several decades by causing different types of pollution. Agricultural sector in Nepal is severely affected by the direct discharge of untreated effluents on the agriculture land. This paper focuses to analyze the effect of industrial effluents on soil by measuring different physico-chemical parameters. Discharge of industrial effluents into the soil causes to change the physico-chemical and biological profile of the soil. Physico-chemical parameters like pH, electrical conductivity, alkalinity, acidity, moisture, organic matter, water holding capacity, specific gravity, texture, nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium were analyzed. The study revealed the negative impact of industrial effluents in the soil. Various parameters were found badly affected, which were different from the normal range of the fertile soil. Excessive accumulation of organic matters has changed the alkalinity of the soil. The alkalinity was found maximum in the soil near to soap industries. Irregular distribution of micronutrients (nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium) was found in the present study.

In the setting of this article on the inventory of the Ichtyofaune of the Ndjale lake that pulls his/her/its specificity of the surge of the Kasuku river in territory from kibombo in the Maniema;, the investigatings have been led during the artisanal fishing while using the nets, the cannons and the palangres as contraptions of fishing in two stations: Dongo and Gabon during one year of April 2018 to March 2019. Them TO the descended of our investigatings on the Ichtyofaune of the Ndjale lake in the Maniema; he/it clears himself/itself that this lake contains 4 orders, 15 families, 20 kinds and 20 species of which most abundant in term of strength by decreasing order are: the Mormyridaes represented by (Marcusenius morii; and Gnatonemus sp); the Mockokidaes represented by (Synodontis sp), lesClaroteidae (Chrysichtys nigodigitatus), the Clariidaes (Clarias Cichlidae gariepinus),les (Hemichromus elongatus and Tilapia sp) and the Channidaes (Parachanna obscura). The specific wealth is of 20 recorded species, the équitabilité inter station is of 0 ,69 for Dongo against 0,74 to Gabon. These results on the whole, confirm that the biodiversity of the Ndjale lake is raised and rich of the species. To the total 41825 individuals have been captured in the two retained stations, of which 41,9% to Dongos and 58 ,1% in Gabon; - The season of rainy appears more favorable to the capture and present more of strength of fish captured that the dry season for all disconcerted species 63% against 37% of the total strength; - The weights vary from a species to the other of Heterotis niloticus 5grs to 1950grs, but the average is in the interval of 7 to 1650 grs, - The species having presented the most elevated weights are in the decreasing order: the Chrysichthyses nigrodigitatus (1650 grs), Citharinus gibbosus(900grs), (890 grs), Mormyrops deliciosus (640grs), Parachanna obscura (600grs), Polypterus spp and Malapterirus bennenensis (460grs) each and the Distichodus fasciolatus (415grs). All other present the weakest weights lower to 200 gr in spite of their important strengths in the two stations and in all season. - The size: the variation goes from 35 to 670 mm and the middle values of the size are understood on the whole between 46mm and 435mm. The Chrysichthys presents the most elevated size (435mm); follow-up of Polypterus sp (360mm), Malapterirus bennenensis (345mm), Parachanna obscura (260mm), Mormyrops deliciosus (232mm), Hepsetus adoe (210 mm) and Citharinus gibbosus (206mm). The other also presented some sizes in spite of their strengths very important. While comparing the weight and the sizes, he/it notices himself/itself that these two factors are not proportional for all captured species. - Concerning the spatio-temporal distribution, he/it clears himself/itself that the species are present all 'year in all two stations, but to very different frequencies following the months of the year; and the rarest species are: Mormyrops deliciousus, during every month of the year, and absent in December; The Auchenoglamus punctatus: especially appears as rare during several months of the year in the Dongo station; - The Heterotis niloticus, is all year round less present to the Gabon station that in the Dongo station; - The Polypterus sp: is rare and sometimes absent during some months of the year (January, fervier and March) especially to the Gabon station; - The Malapterirus very rare bennenensis in Dongo but more frequent to the Gabon station; - The Distichodus fasciolatus, present all year round but, less represented in term of strength; and the Schilbe sp: absent all year round in Dongo but rarely present to the Gabon station and represent the weakest efficient of the all species counted in the Ndjale lake.

The main objective of the present work is to conduct the computational study of steady flow through the air intake system of a multicylinder SI engine. The CAD geometry of the air intake system of the multi cylinder in line engine was created. Two modification on the induction side one with circular cross section (Path A) and another with rectangular cross section (Path B) were carried out. All the three models are simulated using ANSYS FLUENT, CFD code for the computational study, steady state flow conduction was assumed and the analysis is carried out assuming the intake air flows steady into the system at mean piston speed of the engine. Flow field is predicted by solving the Navier strokes equation and the turbulence is modelled using k-? RNG model. Good agreement is observed from predicted result.

Rural marketing determines the carrying out of business activities bringing in the flow of goods from urban sectors to the rural regions of the country as well as the marketing of various products manufactured by the non-agricultural workers from rural to urban areas. The predominantly rural character of India’s national economy is reflected in the very high proportion of its population living in rural area’With more than 700 million people living in rural areas, in some 5,80,000 villages, about two—third of its workforce was engaged in agriculture and allied activities with a contribution of 29 percent of India’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP), India’s economy is predominantly rural in character. India’s economy can be thought of as comprising of two main sectors, namely, the Rural Sector and the Urban Sector. The Rural sector is composed of two main sub sectors i.e. the agricultural sub sector and the non— agricultural sub sector For the past decade, business visionaries have argued that these people, dubbed the “Base of the Pyramid”, make up an enormous, untapped market. Some of the world's biggest, savviest corporations have aimed to address their basic needs — by selling them everything from clean water to electricity and from FMCG to consumer durables. “Improving the lives of billions of people at the bottom of the economic pyramid is a noble endeavour. It can also be a profitable one.” C.K. Prahlad. The paper studies the changing scenario of Indian rural markets and implies some suggestions in improving the marketing strategy in rural selling and market promotion. This paper is an attempt to provide some mettle solutions to these challenges as it studies and follows some successful rural marketing strategies of modern times. This is particular in context of rural sales strategies rural promotion mix.

In present study shows the seasonal biochemical variations in different tissues of M. meretrix. In summer and monsoon seasons the glycogen content was decreased as compared with winter season. Glycogen level fell during spawning and later recovered with gametogenesis. Protein content in different tissues in winter and monsoon season was high as compared with summer season. Protein contents values observed high during the period of spawning. In summer and monsoon seasons, the lipid content was increased but decreased in winter season. The lipid content level was high at the period of spawning.

Incidence of guava orchards decline was surveyed in different localities of District Larkana. The samples were collected from trees showing clear disease attack. Pure culture was obtained by transferring single spore/ piece of mycelium to PDA plates. Identification was made by using microscopic characters and taxonomical keys. The fungal pathogens responsible for guava orchard decline were fusarium oxysporium f.sp. psidii. and Botryodiplodia theobromae.

Of the several leaf surface characters, leaf architecture has drawn relatively less attention when compared to the epidermal studies which are in the limelight especially after the initiation of SEM studies. In the last decade, with the publication of Hickey’s work on the dicotyledons (1973, 1979) a new thought was provided to this field. A perusal of the past literature revealed that there are no specific reports on the leaf architectural features of the Commiphora wightti Arnott belonging to the family Burseraceae. Leaf architecture act as a pharmacognostic tool for identifying the adulterant because adulteration and misidentification of medicinal plants can cause serious health problems to consumers and legal problems for the pharmaceutical industries. Therefore, the present investigation has been carried out to provide a detailed account of the same besides its evaluation for taxonomic purpose which showed apical orientation, simple leaf organization, lamina and base is asymmetrical, coriaceous texture without any gland. Type of venation is pinnate craspedodromous and semicraspedromous, higher vein order of the leaf is 5⁰.

Proteases are one of the major causative agents used in the biological systems for the inter conversion of protenacious matter. This fact has led to the exploitation of especially bacterial proteases for their use in various industries and in such scenario, the present study explored the potential of the newly isolated soil bacterial isolates, B1, B3, B4 & G2 for the production of proteases using protease specific broth media at 30oC & 120rpm for five days by shake flask culturing method. In the results, the bacterial isolate B3 has emerged as the best protease producer strain with ~52U of enzyme activity by 48Hrs of cultivation and this B1strain was identified as Pseudomonas sp. SPSU B3, the other bacterial strain B4 was found as species with an extended period 72hrs of non-growth associated protease production (~45U) and this strain was identified as Aneurinibacillus migulanus sp. SPSU B4. The other two bacterial strains B1 & G2 were also found to be of comparable protease activity and hence deserve further studies on optimization and production of protease along with the strains of B3 & B4.
