Relationship between occupational stress and job satisfaction of faculty: the case of universities of Punjab
This study aims to: observe overall faculty stress level; detect weights of different factors of job satisfaction; discern overall faculty job satisfaction level; and examine relationship between occupational stress and job satisfaction. Two questionnaires are adapted in order to accomplish the research objects through acquiring the responses from faculty members of HEC recognized public and private universities in the province of Punjab. Descriptive statistics, frequency tables, arithmetic means, standard deviation, and correlation analysis are used to analyse the data. Results indicate that most of the teachers do not perceive occupational stress as a big problem in university environment. They perceive administrative factors as highly contributing factor in job satisfaction. In last, insignificant relationship is found between occupational stress and job satisfaction. The research makes a fruitful contribution in the existing body of knowledge by reporting the phenomena of stress and satisfaction in faculty of universities of Pakistan.

Robot selection using analytic hierarchy process and system of equations of matrices
The problem of robot selection plays an important key role concern to various fields of different applications since three decades. This problem has become more difficult in recent years due to increasing complexity of applications of the environment, features and specifications, and facilities offered by various manufactures. The primary objective of this paper is to select the suitable type of robot based on various factors such as type of application, payload, working environment, accuracy, lifespan, weight, purchasing cost etc. The selection procedure is developed for selection of particular type of robot based evaluating the various alternative selection factors using AHP technique and systems of equations of the matrices i.e. Eigen values and Eigen vectors. The ranking evolution will provide a good guidance for the robot selection to the end user. The concept of this work is an attempt has been made to create exhaustive database for identifying maximum possible number of attributes.

Secure audio steganography for hiding text and audio files
In present day to day life, effective data hiding methods are needed due to attack made on data communication. This paper presents the technique for the above requirement. In this proposed method, secret message in form of audio file is embedded within another carrier audio file(.wav). In the transmitter end the output will be similar to the carrier with secret message embedded inside. The hacker will be blinded by the transmitted signal. At the receiver end the original message can be retrieved without any loss. The entire proposed system is simulated and their corresponding waveforms prove the effectiveness of this method.

Smart impact of Schools the depth and speed of learning
The purpose of this study was to investigate the influence of intelligent classroom and deepen student's learning speed. This analytical method and the method of data collection tools and library resources, articles and scientific sites are used. The results showed that the use of multimedia content in a wide range of senses of the students involved in the teaching and learning process is deepening. In other words, in addition to increasing the performance of various classes of applications due to the use of audio-visual senses to help students learn. The system allows students to move beyond their curricula and more emphasis on thinking skills and deep learning students. The intelligent interaction between students and teachers of the school, more intelligent, and this can lead to a higher share successful experiences between them. So schools by creating platforms for intelligent classes can take advantage of this training method used.

Soft computing in intelligent multi – modal systems
As man has started using computers to track the work of machines, the flexibility with which the humans communicate and request information from the computers must increase. There arises a need for the computers to understand and process the ambiguous queries put forth by authorized persons. This has been accomplished in this paper by introducing soft computing in multi – modal systems. This architecture first uses vascular pattern recognition to identify whether the user is an authorized person or not by using the image of his blood vessels obtained by using near – infrared light. Then the architecture consists of six main components - a reasoner, a speech system, a vision system, a non intrusive neural network based gaze tracking system, an integration platform and an application interface, using which we can process speech, text, face images, gaze information and simulated gestures. Fuzzy and probabilistic techniques have been used in the reasoner to establish temporal relationships and learn interaction sequences. This architecture can be used in Process control and Instrumentation where the authorized users can query the values of some physical parameters (pressure, temperature etc). The ambiguities of these queries are resolved using gaze tracking. Example: Query (recognized by speech): show me this of that machine. (That machine is pointed using mouse) Ambiguity: this (physical parameter) - identified by where the user’s gaze is fixed on the screen. Final query: show parameterA of machineB.

Solid-phase extraction Citalopram by C18 modified carbon nanotubes in water and Human Plasma samples and determination of using HPLC
A simple method to pre-concentrated Citalopram on C18 modified carbon nanotubes in column has been applied as stationary phase which is used to measure the concentration of Citalopram in water samples by means of solid-phase extraction. To measure 250 mL water samples and 250mg C18 modified carbon nanotubes could be applied. Next step is to measure the Citalopram by injecting them to the gas chromatography with flame ionization. The advantages of applying HPLC with SPE in presence C18 modified carbon nanotubes are high sensitivity, High speed transformation of Citalopram and improving ration standard for river waters with Citalopram in the range of ppb or those with less than 10% of LOD. The quantity of extraction could be affected by sample's pH, amount of solvent, washing liquid type, solvent and flow rates of the sample solutions. The percentage recovery by SPE was 98.00 and the validation parameters proved the precision of the method and its applicability for the determination of citalopram in human plasma.

Spectroscopic investigation (FT-IR and FT-Raman), vibrational assignments, HOMO-LUMO, NBO and MESP analyses of 3’-Nitroacetophenone
In this work, the experimental and theoretical vibrational spectra of 3'-nitroacetophenone [3?NAP] were studied. FTIR and FT Raman spectra were recorded in the region 4000–400 cm?1 and 4000–50 cm?1, respectively. The structural and spectroscopic data of the molecule in the ground state were calculated by using ab initio Hartree–Fock and density functional method (B3LYP) with the 6-311++G(d,p) basis set. The vibrational frequencies were calculated and scaled values were compared with experimental FTIR and FT Raman spectra. The observed and calculated frequencies are found to be in good agreement. The complete assignments were performed on the basis of the total energy distribution (TED) of the vibrational modes, calculated with scaled quantum mechanics (SQM) method. The optimized geometric parameters were calculated. The predicted first hyperpolarizability also shows that the molecule might have a reasonably good nonlinear optical (NLO) behaviour. The calculated HOMO–LUMO energy gap reveals that the charge transfer occurs within the molecule besides, molecular electrostatic potential (MEP),

Spectroscopic studies of valine and leucine molecules a comparative study
The infrared and Raman spectra of valine and Leucine molecules have been recorded in nujall mull in the range 4000-400 cm-1 . Large number of bands belonging to different modes of vibration could be observed and assigned. The electronic absorption spectra of these molecules have also been measured at different pH values. It is observed that absorption peak shifts with the change in pH value of the solutions. A tentative explanation of the peak shift is given.

Strategic role of trade shows to participating firms in Ghana: a study of the twelfth [12th] Ghana international trade fair
Firms over the years have sought for ways of marketing their products to enable them achieve their marketing objectives, including sales and profits. As a result, they have experimented with various marketing strategies over the years. All these marketing strategies have had varying degrees of success. However, until recently, trade shows, which was practiced hundreds of years ago was not part of the tools, even though it holds the key to the success of industry. Trade shows have been identified as a cost-effective tool for promoting products of all kinds and origins. Trade shows bring both sellers and buyers together under one roof to transact business. This way, firms interact with their prospective customers or dealers more directly at a relatively cheaper cost. In recent times, there has been the proliferation of trade shows in Ghana. Researchers identified potential benefits firms could derive from participating in such exhibitions as the motive behind such a move. The outcome of the research conducted has shown that indeed positive results are derived from participating in such fairs. These have been discussed thoroughly. Other issues that cropped up in the study included evaluating performance or effectiveness of participation, preparations firms made towards participating and challenges exhibitors faced during the participation of such fairs.

Study of alexithymia in relation to general health, somatic health and social support among institutionalized and non institutionalized adolescents
Adolescence, as the last developmental stepping stone to adulthood, is a period of pronounced growth and change. Alexithymia is primarily seen as a personality constructs a trait. It means difficulty to express feelings. It affects ones mental health and somatic health positively or negatively. Social support helps the person to maintain mental health. The aim of the present investigation is to study the alexithymia in relation to general health, somatic health and social support among institutionalized and non institutionalized adolescents. The sample for the study consists of 100 institutionalized and 100 non institutionalized adolescents ranging in the age of 16 to 19 years selected randomly from Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh. TAS-20 Hindi version used to measure alexithymia (Bagby, Parker, & Taylor, 1994), General Health Questionnaire (GHQ- 28) by Goldberg, 1978, Somatic Health Complaints by Urmila Rani Srivastava ( ) and Social Support Questionnaire by Sarason et al., 1983. Descriptive statistics, correlation and 2X2 ANOVA (for main and interaction effect) were used. RESULTS- The calculated values show the significant association of general health with the somatic health as the values comes out to be .311 and between general health and satisfaction with social support the value found to be -.183. It was found that there was no interaction effect between alexithymia and type of stay on general health. There was significant main effect of alexithymia on GH total and SHC as the values comes out to be 0.00. The values disclosed that there was significant interaction effect of both the independent variables i.e. alexithymia and type of stay on perceived social support. The calculated F-value found to be 3.931 which is significant at 0.05 level.
