The study has been conducted to see if Advertising in News papers influence the news content of newspaper and if newspapers can publish content against thier advertisers, incase of them being involved in any controversy. The research included respondents in the form of a focus group of 20 media practitioners from Islamabad. The ages of the respondants were between 25 to 35. The data was collected through an open ended questionnaire and decoded manully to learn about the topic. The data interpreted proved the assumptions positive which said that the newspaper has to compromise its credibilty to keep the advertisers happy. It also learnt that the newspapers will not publish any content against thier advertisers.

Maritime industry provide the basis for the growth and development of marine-related activities such as: ocean and coastal shipping, port services, offshore oil and gas, inshore and offshore fisheries, marine culture, renewal energy (current, wave, wind), naval defence and other marine related activities that need competence human capital enrolment to manage, explore and exploit this resources in a sustainable manner. Maritime education provides competence, highly skill and professional worker mainly in the shipping and port sector. Even though the maritime industry is dynamically changing their environment (Facilities, technology and system), the present maritime educations are of traditional manner with limited capacity of maritime facilities such as ports and ships. Until now, not much on training work has been done at rationalising the number and optimizing the facilities in the maritime education due to the escalating of the cost to maintain these facilities. Therefore the aims of this paper are to determine the rationale to develop an offshore integrated teaching port as a new approach for the maritime education system. The system via simulation approach is a tool for teaching maritime students how to be a professional and ready to work on a real ship or port environment. This approach will offer alternatives to an audience or maritime students hungry for fresh thinking in the maritime studies with a fresh training angle. In this paper we will mimicry as closely as possible on real port environment, duplicating everything in the real port operation towards an innovative approach in the Maritime Education and to determine the rationale of designing offshore Teaching Port.

Publication has its own importance for professionals. It is better to examine and encourage the young scholars. This article examines the perceptions of the professional faculty regarding the difficulty in publication in the field of finance, marketing, human resources management. Data was collected from Rawalpindi/Islamabad professionals. In this study descriptive tools used to analyzed the data. There was mixed response regarding the publication in Journals. It is also observed that institution tend more credit to the co authorship.

Almost all of us received our income either in the form of salary or profit through business activities. However we must always bear in mind that we cannot work or conduct our business activity for our entire life and there will be a point where we have to stop or retire. Thus it is very important for us to have a proper financial planning. Financial planning is most commonly associated with the main goal of achieving financial freedom which is achievable with a proper investment planning. Some people thought saving and investing are the same things. Nevertheless, each requires a different approach and a different way of judgment and consideration. Saving is usually associated with low risk, low return and sometimes a short term goal. Saving is simply putting aside some of our disposable income for a temporary period of time prior to achieving actual long term goal setting. Saving is a conservative outlay approach, taking very little risk with our money. A bank account or cash management trust is usually sufficient to reach the savings goal.

This paper investigates the role of human capital for the difference of FDI inflows between rich and poor countries “Lucas Paradox.” We conduct a GMM analysis of 50 developed and developing countries over1980-2005. We have utilized a newly developed index that is the focused on weighted HC stock to examine the effects of HC on FDI inflows. Our main finding is that the existence a higher level of HC in developed countries is one of the explanation for the gap of FDI inflows among developed and developing countries. This finding is in line with the Lucas Paradox.

This paper reports the conceptual of innovation in creative technology in aspect of academic and creative economy. Creative industries have become the government's main agenda in achieving the vision 2020. The establishment of National Creative Industry Policy is proof that the government is serious in their efforts to uplift the creative industry to a higher level. Therefore, to ensure the government has met their mission, the education system must play their role to support the goal.

Adolescence is one of the most crucial periods in the life of an individual, because between the ages of 10-19years, many key biological, social, economical, demographic and cultural events occur that set the stage for adult life. During this phase of growth the girls first experience menstruation and related problems which is marked by feelings of anxiety and eagerness to know about this natural phenomenon. However, they do not get the appropriate knowledge due to lack of a proper health education programme in schools. Moreover, the traditional Indian society regards talks on such topics as taboo and discourages open discussion on these issues. Moreover, the routine health services do not have provisions for adequate care of adolescent health problems. This further exaggerates the problems manifold. Although menstruation is a natural process, it is linked with several misconceptions and practices, which sometimes result into adverse health outcomes. Majority of adolescents still does not have access to information and education on sexuality, reproduction and sexual and reproductive health and rights, nor do they have access to preventive and curative service. Providing adolescents with access to seek information education and services is thus the main challenge for future programmes. In this regard an attempt has been made to measure the level of knowledge and attitude towards reproductive health, b) to study the reproductive health practices among adolescent girls and c) to study the attitude of adolescent girls towards sex education. The study was conducted among 60 school going adolescent girls of Sullia Taluq. The findings not only prove and confirm their view, but also reveal the fact that the adolescent girl’s family members restrict their daughters during menstruation and majority of the respondents stated they need sex related education in the curriculum. The study also recommends that health workers should concentration more on imparting reproductive health among rural adolescent girls. Community groups, peer groups school curriculum and other such channels are likely to be more effective means of transmitting important health messages and advice to young women entering puberty.

The study was conducted to examine secondary school teachers’ perception of personnel management functions and their job performance in Ikom Education Zone of Cross River State, Nigeria. The study utilised two objective, research questions and hypotheses and the ex-post facto research design was adopted for the study. The study population comprised all public secondary school teachers in Ikom Education Zone of Cross River State. Data obtained from the Ministry of Education, Calabar which stood at 15, 972 and a sample of 529 teachers were used and the study with stratified random sampling technique a well validated researcher’s developed instrument titled School Teachers’ Perception of Personnel Management Functions and their Job Performance Questionnaire (STPPMFJPQ) was adopted for data collection. The instrument was scrutinized for correction by expert validation the Department of Educational Foundations and Administration, and two from Measurement and Evaluation, all from the Cross River University of Technology, Calabar. The face validity was also determined using the split half reliability method to determine the internal consistency which ranged from .76 to .84 accordingly and the data was analysed using descriptive (mean and standard deviation), and inferential statistical analysis (One-Way Analysis of Variance). The major findings revealed that there is a significant influence of staff recruitment on secondary school teachers’ job performance. Also, staff development programmes do significantly influence secondary school teachers’ job performance. It was recommended among others that the government should endeavor to recruit competent teachers in schools, so as to promote quality and standard in the teaching profession this will further enhanced teachers’ job performance in Ikom Education Zone.

The purpose of this theoretical paper is to relate the Marxian modes of production to the development of the economy of Bengal basin with particular emphasis on the nation known as Bangladesh. Data for this study were obtained from existing literatures on Marxian modes of production and the economic history of Bengal basin as well. The methodology heavily relied on existing previous literatures on the subject being dealt with. The findings indicate that the co-existence of the urban, and the now technical industrial sectors, where the service economy and the hard-goods manufacture have little or no relationship with the geography and climatology of the land, is not treated by Marx, and there is no mixed-mode which analogizes the reality of the Bangladesh economy. Further existence of the real possibility of continued mass natural disasters in this land, and the truth of the population density and oppression of the power of the land to feed its own population, cannot be collated into any given mode of production.

This research investigated the effect of co-curricular activities on academic achievements of special educations students with learning disabilities in SMK Permata Jaya, Rengit, Batu Pahat, Johor, Malaysia. 20 students from special educations class session 2015 were selected for moderate level syllabus and another 20 students were using high level syllabus constituted a study sample. Each level of students taught by the same teacher was divided into experimental and control groups. The experimental groups were involved in co-curricular activities and the control groups did not participate in any co-curricular activity. They were two types of co-curricular activities which are physical activities and the other was like debates, speeches and drama. Raw scores of the students from the subject of Science test made up data for the study. Data analysis involved the use of mean scores and t-test of significant difference between two independent group means scores, supported by F-test of homogeneity of two independent group variances It was found that co-curricular activities had significant effect on academic achievements of the experimental groups.
