Pre and Post-monsoon Variation in Physico-chemical characteristics in Groundwater quality of Tiruchengode Taluk, Namakkal district, Tamilnadu, India
The present investigation reports the results of monitoring study focusing on groundwater quality of Tiruchengode taluk, Namakkal district during Pre and Post monsoon period of 2012. This has been determined by collecting groundwater from 23 different sampling stations and subjecting the samples to a comprehensive physico chemical analysis. For calculating the WQI, the following 10 parameters have been considered i.e. Temperature, pH, Alkalinity, Dissolved oxygen, TDS, Total Hardness, Calcium, Magnesium, Chloride, Fluoride. The WQI during Pre-monsoon season varied from 135.01 to 382.75, while for Post-monsoon, it was found between 76 and 257. Significantly lower WQI for the Post-monsoon season was observed, indicating deterioration of the groundwater overall in corresponding season. The study revealed that groundwater from only 17.39 % locations was fit for domestic use, thus reveals that the groundwater of the study area needs some degree of treatment before consumption, and regular groundwater quality monitoring should be encouraged as a strategy towards groundwater quality protection and conservation.

Behavior of reinforced concrete deep beams strengthened with CFRP sheets
The principal objective of this paper is to investigate the behavior and load carrying capacity of reinforced concrete (indirectly loaded flanged deep beams) strengthened with carbon fiber reinforced polymer (CFRP) strips in shear. Using three types of concrete (normal strength concrete, high strength concrete, light weight concrete) group three consists of five indirectly loaded flanged deep beams (with light weight concrete) to investigate the effect of different strengthening case on the behavior and load carrying capacity of the deep beam like, three sides strengthening with CFRP (V shape), and strengthening the two opposite sides of deep beam, one side strengthening of deep beam, (L shape) strengthening.

Islam on the Internet: strategic ways for spreading actual Islamic thoughts to reach Muslims and Non-Muslims via Internet technology
Since, Islam is the Fastest Growing Religion, but, why do People judge Islam so negatively in the Internet. Major Objective was to understand the use of the Internet to propagate Islam and Supportive Objectives were to find the new trends of propagating Islam and to find challenges facing by Islam. This study is based on qualitative and quantitative methodology which was carried out by employing primary and secondary data. The Primary data has been collected through questionnaire, interviews. Ten people have been interviewed as key informants. The Secondary data was collected from relevant books, websites, reports, journals and news paper articles and other relevant documents. Internet is an emerging trend to propagate Islam over the world. Ninety percent of all users go to the Internet for news or information; of that 90 percent, 80 percent use the Internet for research. One in four of these users surfs the Internet for religious and spiritual material, with 23 percent specifically searching for information about Islam.

Characterization of the interlaminar shear strength of angle ply kevlar/glass hybrid composites
In this paper experimental investigation has been carried out on kevlar/glass angle ply hybrid composites to characterize interlaminar shear strength. With the aim of determining the influence that the structure, a reinforcement type and a sort of resin exert upon the interlaminar strength. Hybrid composites are considered materials of great potential for engineering applications. One advantage of hybrid composite materials for the designer is that the properties of a composite can be controlled to a considerable extent by the choice of fibers and matrix and by adjusting the orientation of the fiber. The scope for this tailoring of the properties of the material is much greater, however, when different kinds of fiber orientations are incorporated in the same resin matrix. Three orientations viz 0?/90?, ±45?and 60?/30? were considered for studies. Mechanical properties such as interlaminar strength, interlaminar stiffness, & peak load of the hybrid composites were determined as per ASTM standards. Vacuum bagging technique was adopted for the fabrication of hybrid specimens. It was observed that orientation at 0?/90?showed significant increase in ILSS properties as compared to other orientation.

Connotations of five basic colours in the structure of Persian metaphorical expressions
Metaphors are ubiquitous in language. When researching metaphor in everyday language, metaphor researchers firstly need to identify metaphor in everyday language. One way is that metaphor researchers turn to naturally-occurring language. The metaphoric language used in everyday language reveals the ideology of the specific historical period of society. In this respect, colour plays an important role in convention metaphorical expressions in people's lives and daily communication. As a sub-category of metaphors, colour terms are widely used literally and metaphorically in different languages and may also reflect cultural identities of language users. Taking cognitive linguistics into account (Lakoff & Johnson, 1999), the present study aimed to investigate the metaphorical link which accounts for connotative meanings that is ascribed to colour terms. To do so, we collected Persian instances from some Persian dictionaries. The findings of this endeavor show that cultural orientations play a significant role in colour connotations in Persian, and subsequently filtering the relevant connotations of a particular metaphor.

Study on the variability and trend of rainfall in Bangladesh
Now a day, global warming has induced changes in precipitation in different regions of the world. Bangladesh is recently experiencing climate change impact related to hazards like cyclone, flood, draught etc. Climate variable like rainfall is the most important parameter which is linked with agricultural aspects too. Most of the rain occurred during monsoon period in Bangladesh. The study on rainfall trend over the country has done using observed station data of Rainfall (In-situ) collected from Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) .These data have been analyzed based on annual and seasonal variation in Bangladesh for last 6 decades. A set of analysis has been carried out for this study. Linear trend lines show the rainfall trend over Bangladesh which is not very significant. The annual and monsoon rainfall is found in decreasing trend in recent times (1981-2010) whereas in increasing trend during the period of 1951-2011. The time series statistical analysis of this study will provide information about annual and seasonal mean total rainfall and rainfall variation over the country for different decades, as well as the rainfall trend in different divisions of Bangladesh in different times. The result of this study will help the policy makers to take necessary steps and measure in different sectors like disaster management, agricultural production, drought mitigation, flood control etc. and to act against the adverse impact of climate change. In this paper, annual, seasonal and divisional rainfall variability and trend analysis over Bangladesh will be discussed.

Polycystic ovary syndrome and its disorders: a review
Polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) is a common reproductive disorder which leads to infertility in association with several disorders like oligomenorrhea, obesity, type II diabetes mellitus and cardiovascular disorder. It is characterized by an increased level of androgen production and disordered gonadotropin secretion, which results in chronic anovulation. In fact, it is the leading cause of anovulatory infertility. It mostly affects the women of reproductive age. In this review, there is a detailed description about the clinical manifestations, diagnosis, etiologies and treatments.

Temporal association rule mining analysis for days temperature
Weather forecasting is a very fundamental application in meteorology and technologically challenging problem. The estimation of temperature values are needed for agricultural, technical and environmental applications. Meteorological dataset has historical data of all weather parameters and the temporal analysis of this dataset can help to mine meaningful knowledge. There are number of techniques available in data mining, but Association Rule Mining is one of the most popular technique to mine large amount of dataset for finding the hidden relationship between various dataset variables values and identifies correlations between them. The scope of this research is to analyze temporal rules generated to predict day to day temperature variation of a specific region Surat, India. To accomplish this, the framework is proposed for prediction of day temperature variation from seasons. From the experiments, achieved higher accuracy compare to other data mining technique and the rules which show how day variations are related. Also prepared the list of parameters which is less in number to help for the prediction instead of all parameters and thus it helps in the reduction of the dataset size.
