The hydatid cyst is a Antropo-zoonosis caused development in humans of the larval form of Echinococcusgranulosistaenia. It is endemic status in some countries where it is a real public health problem and spares no organ. Hydatid cyst of the kidney (HCK) is rare, indeed it is 2 to 3% of all visceral locations. His clinical semiology is rich but rarely specific. The diagnosis is based on arguments of strong epidemiological suspicion, clinical, biological and radiological. This condition poses therapeutic problems making it difficult to conservative surgery. The aim of this work is to remind this disease has become rare in some countries through the exposure of our results, while insisting on the importance of conservative treatment whenever it is possible. We retrospectively reviewed the records of 20 cases of HCK collected between 2006 and 2013 at the urology department "A" of the University Hospital of Rabat. These 6 men and 14 women whose average age was 37 years (18-56 years). The clinical symptomatology was dominated by low back pain (100%), with 6 cases of hydaturia.Ultrasound, performed in all patients confirmed the diagnosis in 12 patients . Abdominal CT, performed in 8 patients, was necessary whenever the diagnosis remains uncertain. The treatment consisted of 12 resection of the protruding dome, 3pericystectomy, and 5 total nephrectomies. An additional procedure was performed in the same operation (hydatid cyst in the liver in 2 cases. Postoperative course was uneventful. Regular monitoring was done for 12 patients. In light of these twentyHCK , we must insist on the importance of imaging in the diagnosis of and conservative surgical treatment.

Due to advantages of distributed generation systems, their use in distributed systems is more and more every day. In networks that are used in distributed generation resources, the island being a big problem to occur unintentionally. In this paper we will use a new method that combines of neural networks and fuzzy sets. Simulation results performed in the Matlab software environment that island being diagnosed accurately and more quickly done.

In this study, a new approach is proposed for modeling power transformers internal faults by using transmission line model (TLM) and also presented a method to forecasting these kinds of faults by monitoring the effect of partial discharges on transformer primary side current. These monitoring actions boost the reliability of power system. Simulating and detecting loop to loop and loop to ground faults between the desired Transformer’s coil wires in early stages is advantage of this method. Finally, Transformers TLM is implemented with Matlab for observing this method. Simulation results verified application of proposed modeling technique for studying and detecting power transformers different short-circuit faults conditions.

The globalisation of entities has meant that innovative ideas need to be implemented in order for businesses to grow but also to reduce costs thereby affecting the profit margins positively.Technology has advanced to such a degree that it has increased the capability to process more demanding algorithms for both video and audio technologies. This study is intended to enable a deeper insight into the adoption and diffusion patterns of Video Conferencing (VC) technologies within a public sector company, Company X, with a focus on the factors that impact users perceived quality and trust as well as the intended use of this technology. It is for this reason that the focus of the study is to analyse the adoption and diffusion patterns of the new technology of VC in Company X.Data was gathered with the use of both quantitative (questionnaire) and qualitative (interview) with a sample of 180 employees and three middle managers respectively. In addition, observations were conducted over a period of three weeks to triangulate data that was collected. The study established that users adopted and diffused technology to a limited degree.Use of the technology was between 1 to 5 hours each week predominantly for meetings. The participants also mentioned that travel time is saved, hence there was more personal time and also more time gained for the completion of collaboration tasks more quickly. However, some staff preferred the face to face approach during meetings. The majority indicated that using the facility during VC was complicated and at time disruptive due to insufficient training. Based on the results of the primary study and literature, recommendations were formulated for management.

The aim of the present study was to evaluate the efficacy of application of chlorhexidine mouthwash on Candida colonization in patients with complete dentures. Sixty-eight patients with complete denture were included in this study and divided in two groups. One group of patients were instructed to rinse their mouth with chlorhexidine mouthwash once per day for one week. The second group of patients were instructed to use placebo mouthwash containing normal saline solution. Palatal swabs and smears were taken from each patient before and after chlorhexidine and saline application and specimens were examined mycologically. For each group, Candida colony forming units (CFU) were assessed using Sabouraud agar culture. The difference between Candida colonization before and after treatment and the differences between pre-treatment and post-treatment clinical findings were assessed using paired t test. Application of chlorhexidine mouthwash significantly reduced the CFU and improved the palatal inflammation (p<0.05). This reduction was found in all patients even in smokers and diabetic patients, as well as in the subjects without suitable denture health. We demonstrated the effectiveness of application of a commercial chlorhexidine gluconate mouthwash in the management of candida colonization in patients with complete dentures specially in high-risk candidates.

Lipid abnormalities are common in hemodialysis patients, they are potentially atherogenic. The aim of our work is to study the quantitative changes in lipid parameters and find a correlation between dyslipidemia and the occurrence of left ventricular hypertrophy (LVH) in chronic hemodialysis patients followed in our training. We conducted a prospective study in 36 chronic hemodialysis patients for at least one year, non-diabetic, non-smoking. The dialysis membrane used was helixone. Dyslipidemia was defined by a TG levels > 1.5 g / l and / or a rate of CT> 2g / l. The mean age was 45.53 ± 13.42 years , 30.5 % were overweight. Causal nephropathy was undetermined in 55.6 % of cases. The quality of the dialysis was characterized by a KT / V Average 1.12 ± 0.21. Dyslipidemia was present in 66.5 % of our patients. Sixty-seven percent of patients had LVH. An analytical study was carried out between the group of patients with LVH (group I) and those who had not (group II). We found a significant increase of TG (p = 0.001) (2.14 ± 0.76 vs 1.19 ± 0.21) , the rate of CT ( p = 0.001) (2.31 ± 0.66 vs 1.20 ± 0.32) , the rate of LDL-C (p = 0.001) (1.83 ± 0.38 vs 0.89 ± 0.23) and CLDL / CHLD ratio (p = 0.001) ( 5.41 ± 1.98 vs 2.09 ± 0.83 ) and a significant decrease in the rate of HDL-C (0.36 ± 0.11 vs 0.47 ± 0.16 ) in group I by compared to group II. Nineteen percent of patients were on statin. No complication of rhabdomyolysis was observed. Assessment of lipid profile should be integrated into the strategy for the management of chronic hemodialysis since cardiovascular risks they are exposed.

To find out combinations of the most effective cytomorphologic features to diagnose a case of breast lesion. To measure accuracy of combination of criteria used to diagnose a specific breast lesion. To determine the utility of FNAC and its continuing role in diagnosing breast lesions. Retrospective analysis of 460 patients with breast lesion referred to the Department of Pathology, Mahavir Cancer Institute and Research Centre, Patna, for FNAC and later on confirmed by HPE were included in the study, irrespective of age. Lumpectomy provided the diagnosis in 107 cases. In the present study we found that the combination of criteria assessed, enabled the segregation of breast lesions into different categories with high significance values, which will be more effective in diagnosis of disease. Combined criteria provide better results and a practical way of expressing our opinion as more objective and precise diagnosis which is good from clinician’s point of view too.

The purpose of this study was to examine Biology students’ weaknesses as far as graph work is concerned. The target population was SHS 3 students offering biology as an elective science subject in Senior High Schools in the Cape Coast Metropolis during the 2009/2010 academic year. However, the accessible population was elective biology students from six schools in the Cape Coast Metropolis. At each school an intact class was randomly selected and used. In all a sample size of 230 students was used. The study revealed that elective biology students have difficulty with providing headings, an appropriate scale, and labeling the axes of graphs.

Convergence plays an important role in optimization of error. In this paper, Convergence is analyzed in terms of power with respect to Root Mean Square Error. Power Adaptation Algorithms are implemented on image transmission and the convergence is analysed. Distance Based Power Adaptation Algorithm outperforms compared with the other algorithms.
