A feeding experiment was conducted on larvae of swordtail fish, Xiphophorus helleri, to evaluate the effect of two different live feed on growth and survival rate of the fish. Larval were fed thrice a day with Asian star feed powder and twice a day (morning and evening) with either Artemia or fairy shrimp nauplii as a supplementary feed for 45 days. Tests were run in triplicate and initial and final weights were recorded for all the treatments. Results indicated that there was a significant difference between fish fed with fairy shrimp nauplii and Artemia nauplii (P<0.01). The survival of the fish was not affected by the dietary treatments.

Fifty female crayfish (46.20 ± 1.37 g live mass) which caught from Ag?n Region of the Keban Dam Lake (Elaz?g, Turkey) in March of 2011were examined in the laboratory to evaluate their health status. The exoskeleton was observed for Saprolegnia spp. Mycological investigations demonstrated the presence of hyphae in the area of the abdomen. Saprolegnia spp. was isolated from lesions in infected eggs. Mortalities occurred in fiberglass tanks, after 4 weeks respectively, in the female infected crayfish, with approximately a 38 % cumulative mortality rate (in the last week). In both cases the crayfish were weak, anorexic and lethargic. The main cause of mortality was lesions in infected eggs. Other causes associated with mortality likely can be stressing factors (handling, feeding etc.) in the laboratory.

Denoising an image is a crucial issue as images are widely used in various fields. Denoising deals with noise estimation and removing noise from it. While removing the noise it should preserve the sharpness and clarity of an image. This paper provides the image enhancement techniques with the estimation techniques. Various filtering approaches are suggested to remove the Gaussian additive as well as Gaussian multiplicative noise.

An isocratic reversed phase stability-indicating high-performance liquid chromatographic (HPLC) assay method was developed and validated for quantitative determination of Nicardipine hydrochloride in bulk drugs and the degradation products generated from forced decomposition. An isocratic, reversed phase HPLC method was developed to separate the drug from the degradation products, using an Waters Symmetry shield C18 (250 x 4.6)mm,5u column and the mobile phase containing the of mixture of triethylamine-phosphoric acid buffer (pH-3.5 by orthophosphoric acid, acetonitrile (35:65,v/v). The detection was carried out at wavelength 353 nm. The Nicardipine hydrochloride was subjected to stress conditions of hydrolysis (acid, base), oxidation (50 % H2O2).The degradation was observed for buclizine hydrochloride in base and negligible degradation observed 50 % H2O2. The mass balance was close to 100 in all the stress conditions. The degraded products were well resolved from main peak. The developed method was validated with respect to linearity, accuracy (recovery), precision, system suitability, selectivity, robustness and forced degradation studies prove the stability indicating ability of the method.

Although the pervasive problem of child abuse and complex with many causes, we must approach towards prevention of failure to do will not receive. There is a large body of empirical research on Stress and Subjective Wellbeing (SWB), how stress affects the SWB of an individual and how individual with high SWB cope stress effectively. This study is based on the idea that the Stress is very likely to affect the SWB in Substance Addiction. Research has shown how people get trapped with Addiction in order to reduce stress, and these addictions negatively affect their physical and mental wellbeing. The aim of the present study was to study the effect of addiction and stress on subjective wellbeing. Considering this view the data was collected from Addicted and Non Addicted individuals. In Indian context, male are in the larger risk of addiction at the age of their adulthood, thus, 30 male adult with addiction and 30 male adult with non addiction were taken as the sample. Subjective Wellbeing Inventory (SUBI) and Hari Stress Inventory (HSI) were used to measure subjective well being and stress respectively. It was found that stress had a significant effect upon the subjective wellbeing.

A study was conducted to determine the microbial quality and safety of meat sold in formal and informal markets around Egodini Taxi Rank in Bulawayo. Sausage and chicken samples randomly selected from each outlet were screened for bacterial contamination. E.coli was the predominant bacteria in sausage samples (43% in butchery samples and 85% in vendor samples), whilst S. aureus was abundant in chicken samples (43%). Contamination of meat with Klebsiella spp and Streptococcus spp was minimum. The mean Total bacterial counts (TBCs) for sausage and chicken in vendor samples were 7.66 x 105; 2.41 x 105 cfu/ml respectively whilst the TBCs for butchery samples were 1.14 x 104; 5.45 x 102 cfu/ml respectively. Overally, vendor meat was more contaminated than butchery meat which poses a serious health hazard to the public. The type of meat and outlet had no significant influence on the bacterial load (P=0.298 and P=0.061 at ?=0.05).

The key driving force behind the change management process was identified in this research as the desire to curtail operating costs by using a technology-driven approach in the Security Department of a particular South African mining company. The purpose of the research is to investigate both the impact of the change process on employees as well as to determine sources of resistance with a proposed outcome to ensure that change processes and strong change management structures are in place that will model change champions without significant resistance.

Nigeria is classified as a mixed economy emerging market, and has already reached middle income status according to the World Bank, with its abundant supply of natural resource, well developed financial, legal, communications, transport sectors and stock exchange which is the second largest in Africa. The main purpose of this research is to build a model that can capture the best variables that predict the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of Nigeria. Correlation matrix was used to know the degree of relationship that exists between the pairs of predictors of GDP. The principal component analysis was employed to reduce the multidimensional data. Scree plot was used to determine the spread of the trend of the components and bi plot was used to determine the degree of closeness of Agriculture, oil Export, External Reserves, Exchange Rate, Transportation, Education, and Communication. There is a strong relationship between pairs of Agriculture, oil Export, External Reserves, Exchange Rate, Transportation, Education, and Communication. The proportion of variance accounted for by the first component is 92%. This implied that only component 1 is sufficient to explain GDP. The Scree plot showed that the best component is component 1. The bi plot showed that Agriculture, oil Export, External.Reserves, Exchange.Rate, Transportation, Education, and Communication are closely related and stand as good predictors of GDP. This study aimed to investigate the relationship between organizational commitment and personal qualities of staff of Imam Khomeini Hospital Islamabadgharb, was performed. Types of research according to purpose, applicability, and the nature and methods, descriptive. Population, all staff of Imam Khomeini Hospital of Islamabadgharb, 140 persons, of which, according to the formula for calculating sample size of farmers and Morgan (1970 ), 103, as the sample was selected. The measurement tool is the questionnaire, the Cronbach's alpha coefficient of 0.846, proven reliability, and validity of, according to experts, has been approved. To analyze the results, the test t, for independent samples, and ANOVA, and univariate linear regression to evaluate the hypotheses used. The results of the analysis results show that, significant relationship between organizational commitment and age, gender, and educational level do not exist only between organizational commitment and service experience, a significant correlation is observed.
