Commercially available anion exchange resin, Duolite A 171 (DLE) has been used for the sorption of chromate and fluoride ions from aqueous solutions. DLE resin possesses an enhanced chromate sorption capacity of 202 mg/g in a minimum period of 60 min contact time and 0.6 mg/g for fluoride with 30 min contact time. Sorption capacity (SC) of DLE resin was compared under various equilibrating conditions like effect of pH and co-ions, temperature, contact time, for the removal of chromate and fluoride. The results showed that DLE resin is more selective for chromate rather than fluoride. The chromate and fluoride sorption was reasonably explained using Freundlich and Langmuir isotherm. Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) was used for the determination of functional groups responsible for chromate and fluoride sorption. Various thermodynamic parameters such as ?Gº, ?Hº, and ?Sº have been calculated to understand the nature of sorption. The sorption kinetic mechanism was studied with reaction based and diffusion based models. The sorption process was found to be controlled by pseudo-second-order and intraparticle diffusion models.

In Data mining world, Lead generation is a data searching technique which is used to collect relevant customer information (leads), one of the examples for this techniques is contextual advertising. You might have noticed as soon as you open google site to search something, it displays unique advertisement or sponsored link along with search results. This sponsored link is typically based on search text, user logged in (ex: google user), location, browser to name a few. This type of preparing customized advertisement and sponsored links is called as Contextual advertisement and this technique is an example for Lead generation. It is an easy and painless way of attracting people/users and cultivating prospective customers out of them. The key idea of this paper is to bring out the importance of data mining in the field of CRM and also to explain the benefits of M-Clustering algorithm which we propose for data mining which proves to be efficient as it uses clustering approach compared to k-means algorithm. Also, there is a comparison with Newman’s algorithm where the significance is highlighted in terms of training set and historical data handling in M-Clustering.

The Schiff base chelate of Cu(II) and Ni(II) derived from condensation reaction of salicylaldehyde and 2-aminophenol have been synthesized and investigated by different physicochemical techniques. The resulting complexes were characterized by elemental analysis, molar conductance, FT-IR, melting point or decomposition measurements, solubility in different solvent. The elemental analysis data show the formation of 1:1 metal to ligand ration. The Schiff base act as a tridentate ligand, coordinated through daprotonated phenolic oxygen and azomethine Nitrogen atom. The synthesized chelates were assayed for antibacterial activity against some pathogenic bacteria:Staphylococcus aureus, and Escherichia coli, and the fungi: Aspergillums niger and Candida albican, using dics diffusion method. The synthesized Schiff base complexes exhibit higher antimicrobial activity than the free Schiff base due to the chelation.

In this paper a method has been proposed that uses static partitioning for improving classification of time components of EEG signals. The main idea is that different windows of signals have different power in classification. So with removing some ineffective windows from signals, the power of classification might be increased. For finding best combination of windows, Genetic Algorithm (GA) was applied. For extracting appropriate features, Common Spatial Pattern (CSP) was derived for five class problem. It applied onto each window distinguishably, and the final feature vector was obtained from placing these feature vectors altogether. LDA was used for classifying tasks. The proposed method was applied on a dataset of five mental tasks in which 30% of dataset were used for testing system. The experimental results show that window selection by GA will increase the accuracy of algorithm. This technique increased the accuracy from 69% into 95.3% for 25 windows and into 100% for 50 windows. So with changing number of windows, the accuracy of algorithm will be changed. Another important parameter is ’m’ that is the number of spatial patterns selected by CSP.

Co-curricular activities are seen as the best medium to develop leadership skills which can be learned, trained and upgraded from time to time through the extensive involvement of students in co-curricular activities Through involvement in various activities, leadership skills can be applied and trained in the students whether realized or not. This article is about student involvement, co-curricular activities and leadership skills. The result of the study is from analysis of data from reading material like journals of previous researches and books.

The study attempted to examine the problem of student’s militancy, causes of irritancy and find out possible solution as they are related to the educational institution in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. The population of the study includes 20 colleges including fifty per cent private and 50 % public (both genders), their principals and teachers. The sample included 20 colleges (both genders) in public and private sectors. Thus ten colleges including five male and female were randomly selected in public sector and the same proportion in private sector, in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan. Both close-ended and open-ended questionnaires were the tools of the study, which were fielded to principals and teachers. The role of unionism, its advantages, disadvantages, causes of irritancy and suggested measures for solution of problem remained the focus of the study. The data were subjected to analysis, which were given both quantitative and qualitative treatment. The outcome of the study was that the student militancy adversely affected student’s learning and wastage of the valuable time that they could otherwise utilize for purposeful and co-curricular activities. The data were collected at source and analyzed through statistical measures. The outcome of the study was that there were both advantages and disadvantages of student’s unions, which largely depended on their use and misuse. The proposed measures included a couple of implementable suggestions for addressing the problem areas.

The aim of this study is Study and comparison of mental health of women who are working caretaker and ordinary women in Sari city, 2010.The research method is comparative – causal one. Statistical population in this study is 12500 working caretaker women and ordinary women from Sari. Statistical sample in this study is 380 working caretaker women and ordinary women who are randomly selected and given them questionnaire, statistical method used is descriptive and including frequency, percent, average, mean, standard deviation and variance, also deductive statistical methods like T-test and analysis are used. Applied device is mental health questionnaire.

The use of medicinal herbs to treat disease is almost universal among non industrialized societies and is often more affordable than purchasing expensive modern pharmaceuticals. Most of the countries all over the world still rely on traditional medicines for their primary health care’s with the knowledge passed by the ancients. The current study is aimed to make aware about the presence of certain bioactive compounds in plants which attribute them medicinal values & can provide alternative pathway for the replacement of synthetic drugs. With the help of literature reviews mentioning the importance of medicinal plants in socio-cultural, spiritual and health care of rural peoples of the world, a well known medicinal herb-Tridax Procumbens L. commonly known as tridax daisy is studied with the analysis of phytochemicals like alkaloids, tannins, steroids, flavanols, diterpenes, coumarins, anthocynins, amino acids, syringic acid, phenol, saponin, polysaccharides, pectins, hemicellulse etc - biologically active chemical compounds having disease preventative or protective properties and their general health effects.

This study presents the impact of dust on the electrical performance parameters of CIGS PV modules installed in a Sahelian environment. The study concerns two PV (photovoltaic) modules of the same technologies (CIGS), of the same power, (90W) each, of the same electrical parameters and manufactured by the same company. These modules, respectively denoted M1 (SN-CIGS90) and M2 (SN-CIGS90) were tested under the initial conditions to ensure their correct operation and to determine the initial values of the electrical parameters before exposure. After that, the modules are exposed under actual CERER operating conditions for three months, in which the module M1 undergoes weekly cleaning and M2 is exposed without cleaning for three months. The comparison of the variation rates obtained on the experimental values of the two modules shows that, like other technologies, the deposition of dust constituting the environmental constraint that most influences the electrical parameters of a CIGS module. In fact, the M2, has respective variation rates of -38,581% for the maximum power (Pmax) and -37,430% for the short-circuit current (Isc), +1.520% for the open circuit voltage and (Vco) -3.309% for the form factor (FF), unlike the M1 module, which undergoes the following variations: -7.5% for the Pmax -3.163% for the Isc, + 1.467% for the Vco and-5,861% for the FF.

The purpose of writing the current paper is to survey employees’ empowerment on their job satisfaction in Iran insurance. To measure empowerment, competency, trust, meaning, impact and self-determination and to survey job satisfaction nature of work, salaries and income, leadership style, relation with coworkers and promotion systems were applied. 2 separated questionnaires in empowerment and job satisfaction distributed among statistical society after proving their validity and reliability. The results of applying Spearman and Friedman tests show that empowerment and its dimensions have positive and meaningful influence on job satisfaction in which the influence of competency is more than other variables. Also there are positive relationship between employees’ educational level and job experience with their satisfaction. Finally the results of applying Binomial test show that all variables were placed in high levels.
