Ultrasonic velocity in ternary mixture containing Benzene group of liquids has been evaluated as function of concentration and temperature, by using certain theoretical models like Nomoto’s relation, Impedance dependence relation, Ideal mixture relation, Rao’s specific velocity relation and Jungie’s method. The experimental values of ultrasonic velocity are compared with the theoretical values. Molecular interaction parameter and the percentage deviation thus calculated indicate the non-ideality in the mixtures.

This research paper was conducted to examine the prospects and part played by traditional rulers in community development with particular reference to Ikono Local Government Area in Akwa Ibom State. Traditionally, the Ikono people have the paramount ruler who is the head of the traditional rulers in the Local Government, and village heads in the respective villages. The theory used is modernization theory propounded by Max Weber. T the study was carried out in nine (9) towns of Ikono Local Government Area. Based on the analysis of the data collection, the following result emerged, traditional rulers make positive impact in community development programmes in Ikono. There is significant role played by traditional rulers in implementing government policies at grassroots level. Some recommendations were also made to complement the role of traditional rulers in community Development which include; traditional rulership consultative forum and programme management committee should be set up at the local government level. The Local Government Chairman and councilors should be meeting with traditional Rulers during their executive council sessions. Seminars and training programmes like workshop for leaders and development of skills should from time to time be organized to enhance the roles of traditional rulers towards community development.

Galeazzi fracture involves a fracture of the radial shaft and a distal radioulnar dislocation (RCD). RCD lesions are almost always associated with isolated fractures of the radius. They often go unnoticed and their ignorance strike prognosis, because disorders pronosupination and the potential impact on the entire wrist. It was described by Sir Astley Cooper in 1866 for the first time. Judet in 1913 and in 1929 Schneck also described this injury but it is only since 1934 following the publication of 18 cases by Ricardo Galeazzi lesion that bears his name. This fracture is rare and only occurs in 6.8% of fractures of the forearm according to the review of 1934 fractures Moore.

A second order process of 164.5 seconds settling time is controlled using a PDF controller (through simulation). The controller is tuned by minimizing the sum of square of error of the control system using MATLAB. Functional constraints are imposed on the maximum percentage overshoot, settling time and stability condition. The result was reforming the process slow response and producing a closed-loop control systems of a maximum percentage overshoot less than 2 % and a settling time less than 0.6. The performance of the tuned-PDF controlled process is compared with that tuned using the ITAE standard forms.

The purpose of this study was to determine the sonographic characteristics of retained products of conception after second-trimester abortion. Methods: 187 women clinically suspected for retained products of conception referred for abdominal and if needed transvaginal ultrasound between 2015 and 2016. If remnants of pregnancy were suspected due to prolonged symptoms, and some specific sonographic findings (echogenous or heterogeneous mass, upper or lower segment maximal anterior-posterior endometrial thickness of more than 15 millimeter) dilation and curettage was performed and the specimen was sent for pathological confirmation. Information regarding age, gestational age, and number of previous pregnancies, as well as sonographic findings were recorded. 55 patients (29.4%) were found to have retained products of conception. Every patient with retained products of conception had at least one positive sonographic finding. A lower segment endometrial thickness of more than 15 mm was the most specific characteristic of retained products of conception (97.7%) with the highest PPV (83.3%), followed by endometrial mass with 94% specificity and 65% PPV.  Lower segment endometrial thickness of more than 15mm is the most specific sonographic finding for remnants of pregnancy; while, upper segment thickness of more than 10mm is the most sensitive one. 

The FT-Raman and FTIR spectra for 3-amino-4-methyl benzoic acid (AMBA) have been recorded in the region 4000–100 cm?1 and compared with the harmonic vibrational frequencies calculated by DFT method using B3PW91/6-31+G(d,p) and B3PW91/6-311++G(2d,2p) basis set with appropriate scale factors. IR intensities and Raman activities are also calculated by DFT methods. Optimized geometries of the molecule have been interpreted and compared with the reported experimental values for benzoic acid and some substituted benzoic acids. Furthermore, the molecular orbital calculations such as natural bond orbitals (NBO), HOMO-LUMO energy gap and Mapped molecular electrostatic potential (MEP) surfaces were also performed with the same level of DFT. The detailed interpretation of the vibrational spectra has been carried out with the aid of potential energy distribution (PED) results obtained from MOLVIB program.

The research aims at analyzing current waste management (MW) and coordination system, local regulation and potentials of third parties to participate on WM system. The research found the system and coordination of MW doesn’t properly work. Local regulations on WM has just enacted by one of municipal governments. The research identified innovative project so called “bank sampah” where public involved within. Political will perceived as main factor to accelerate comprehensive WM system. The recommendation of research are to synchronize local regulations on WM, the need to re-formulate the system of coordination and magnifying the participation of third parties on WM. FDI is an engine in bringing the financial sector at a fast speed. FDI was encouraged by financial liberalization and market-based reforms in many Emergent Market Economies (EMEs). Now, FDI has become a key feature of national development strategies for all most all the countries over the globe. FDI has boosted the economy of India and on the other hand there are critics who have blamed the government for ousting the domestic inflows. After liberalization of Trade policies in India, there has been a positive GDP growth rate in Indian economy. The paper tries to study the need of FDI in India. The paper focuses on the trends of FDI inflows by categorize them into sector-wise, region-wise, year-wise and country wise FDI inflow in India. The result depicts that among the sectors Service sector, among the regions Mumbai and among the countries Mauritius are at the top. It also shows that there has been a remarkable increase in FDI inflow in India during the year 2000 to 2012.

The present study on “A Study on work social support and performance of employee in automobile industry “The main objective of the study is to understand the level of work social support an employee perceives inside the organization. The study is to find out satisfactory level of the work social support and performance in organization. The main objective of study is to analyze the sources of work social support in the organization. The primary data were collected from the questionnaire and the secondary data was collected from company catalogue, websites and books. The collected data was analyzed using simple percentage, weighted mean, regression, correlation, ANOVA. The study helps to suggest the company that the overall performance of the company was good but there is need for better motivation system. Also there should be more training programmer which helps employees to improve their productivity. The researcher hopes that the findings and the suggestions given to the company might help the organization for the betterment of its growth. Major findings shows that most of the employees are satisfied with the management practice, IR, etc. They are proud to say that they are employee of Roots industries.

The purpose of the study was to determine the relationship between stress management and workforce productivity of Amol Industrial Park located in Mazandaran Provine. The total number of universe of the research was 250 top managers, middle managers and supervisors shouldering a responsibility in the before-mentioned Industrial Park and the number of the sample population was determined through Morgan sample population volume table (n=150). For data collection, Background Information questionnaire, Stress Management and Workforce Productivity questionnaires were used. As for analyzing the data gained after collecting the questionnaires; Descriptive and inferential statistics were used. Pearson Correlation Test, One Sample t Test, Independent Samples Test and Regression Tests were used for hypothesis testing. The results from analyzing the Sub Hypotheses of the research demonstrated that there was a positive and significant correlation between Respectful and responsible manager (P=0.005), Managing and communicating existing and future work (P=0.002), Managing the individual within the team (P=0.01), Reasoning/managing difficult situations, (P=0.004) and workforce productivity in the universe of the research in hand. As for analyzing the Main Hypotheses of the research; the results demonstrated that there was a positive and significant correlation between stress management and workforce productivity in the universe of the research in hand (P=0.001). The results also demonstrated that there was no significant difference between the opinions of male and female managers about the level of workforce productivity and stress management being put in practice in the before-mentioned Industrial Park. And finally the results indicate that the level of workforce productivity and stress management being put in practice in the before-mentioned Industrial Park is not under the influence of any of Individual characteristics of managers (e.g. Age, Education Level, Job Title, Employment Background and Employment Status).
