This study is a first neuropsychological evaluation of cognitive Impairment generated by the job strain to the teleoperators in call centers in sub-Saharan Africa; Particularly in the Democratic Republic of Congo, city of kinshasa. This study established a statistically significant relationship between Exposure to psychosocial factors (high psychological demand and low decision latitude) and the appearance of job strain in teleoperators. It also showed a statistically significant relationship between job strain and the appearance of cognitive disorders in teleoperators. Lastly, the exposure duration at the call center of six months or more, was retained as necessary time to see the psychosocial factors negatively impacting the mental health of the call center teleoperators.

Defective apoptosis (programmed cell death) represents a major causative factor in the development and progression of cancer. Glycogen Synthase Kinase-3 (GSK-3) has the perplexing capacity to either increase or decrease the apoptotic threshold. These apparently paradoxical effects now are known to be due to GSK-3 which oppositely regulating the two major apoptotic signaling pathways. GSK-3 promotes cell death caused by the mitochondrial intrinsic apoptotic pathway, but inhibits the death receptor-mediated extrinsic apoptotic signaling pathway. Consequently, inhibitors of GSK-3 provide protection from intrinsic apoptosis signaling but potentiate extrinsic apoptosis signaling. So, ability of GSK-3 to oppositely influence two types of apoptotic signaling have thrown a light on important regulatory mechanisms in apoptosis and henceforth designing the rational use of GSK-3 inhibitors for therapeutic interventions in cancer.

Splenic hemangioma is a benign vascular lesion of the spleen that develops at the expense of red pulp structures. It is most often discovered accidentally, radiologically. It often raises a differential diagnosis problem with splenic hamartoma or splenoma, which is defined as a nodular formation consisting of the same elements of normal splenic parenchyma but arranged in a haphazard way.We report the case of a 50-year-old woman hospitalized for pain of the left hypochondrium.

Tuberculosis is a chronic infectious disease caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis. It’s a major health problem in developing countries such as in north Africa. the incidence of tuberculosis in developing country is increasing, but also in the developed ones due to immunodeficiency. Most clinician do not consider tuberculosis when they are faced a symptomatology that refers to a lesion in the nasopharyngeal area., so often lead to misdiagnosis and inappropriate treatment. Biopsy and histopathological examination should be done in every case to avoid misdiagnosis. Nasopharyngeal tuberculosis has an excellent prognosis and it has complete resolution if treated properly.

this is a public health problem, because of a total of 546 infants aged 7 to 24 months, anemic explored, and 38.1% had iron deficiency anemia; 40.3% iron deficient without anemia and 21.6% of non-deficient anemic infants based on the following indicators: Hb ? 11g/dl; VGM ? 74 fl and low serum iron ? 37ug/dl. Among the risk factors observed in this study: age (7-12 months), low level of education of mothers, large household size in relation to household income and early and late partial weaning with food supplements not suitable. This study tends to show the major place of sociodemographic factors in the genesis of iron deficiency anemia in our environment and especially the role that breastfeeding plays in avoiding the early onset of iron deficiency anemia in children.

Rapunzel's syndrome is a rare form of gastric trichobezoar extended to the bowel. The diagnosis may be oriented by the findings of the conventional radiography and echography, but the computed tomography remains the gold standard as it confirms the diagnosis and provides crucial informations on it's gravity

Isolated fractures of the floor of the orbit are secondary to intraorbital hyperpressure that results from a direct anteroposterior impact on the eyeball.Our study is a retrospective study over a period of 03 years (2017_2020) relating to 20 cases of isolated fracture of the floor of the orbit with a mean follow-up of 01 year. The average age of our patients is 25 years with extremes ranging from 13 to 40 years, in 80% of cases our patients were victims of aggression.The initial clinical examination showed diplopia in 80% of cases with enophthalmia in 20% of cases. Computed tomography and lancaster test were performed for all our patients.The surgical treatment consisted of a musculograissory disincarceration with a reconstruction of the floor of the orbit .With a mean decline of one year the evolution was favorable in 80% of the cases. Isolated fractures of the floor of the orbit respond to a precise mechanism of direct ocular impact, vertical diplopia and enophthalmia are the major clinical signs, and CT remains the standard radiological examination for diagnosis and analysis. The surgical treatment must be rapid. The complications are mainly due to delayed management.

It was performed under general anesthesia by the natural route.
