Bayesian Analysis for Epidemiological Study of Child Mortality on the District Level of Uttar Pradesh
In this study an attempt has been made to describe the analysis of epidemiological study by Bayesian methods and apply this methodology to district level child mortality of Uttar Pradesh to assign rank to each district for rural and urban separately. The specific objectives of this study are to analysis of epidemiological study by use of fixed effect modeling and random effect modeling in Bayesian setup. To assign rank to each district by this suggest applying strategies to reduce child mortality in those district for those ranks are poor in Uttar Pradesh. The modified retrospective cohort study design used here. For fixed effect modeling beta-binomial modeling approach is used and for random effect modeling logit link function is used. The posterior estimates came in both cases under squared error loss function.

Selection of influential factors in drilling of Aluminium Metal Matrix Composites using Fuzzy Logic
This paper is focused on selection of optimal parameters in drilling of Aluminium Metal Matrix Composites (AMMC) using “Fuzzy Logic”. AMMC samples are prepared based on selected material parameters and drilling experiments are conducted on these samples as per Taguchi OA L27 which is designed based on material and drilling parameters. The experimental results: power consumption, temperature, surface roughness, and burr height are measured for each experimental run. These results are analyzed using Fuzzy Logic and optimal parameters combination is identified. The identified combination of influential factors is tested through confirmation experiment and is satisfactory.

Green synthesis and characterisation of biocompatible zinc oxide nanoflowers using azadirachta indica
Green synthesis of Zinc Oxide nanoflowers by plant extract is currently under utilization. This research account on the exploit of aqueous leaf extract of Azadirachta indica in the biosynthesis of bioactive zinc oxide nanoflowers with aqueous solutions of zinc acetate and sodium hydroxide at ambient temperature. The aqueous extract of Azadirachta Indica can be used as a template to control particle size and stabilize ZnO nanoparticles. The ZnO nanoflowers prepared by the green synthesis exhibited a hexagonal wurtzite structure with a crystalline size of 51 nm and particle size of 100 nm. To make the process environmentally viable the reaction was carried out under solvent free conditions. Formation of zinc oxide nanoflowers was confirmed by Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FT-IR), X-ray diffraction patterns and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) with Energy dispersive X-ray (EDX) patterns. The results confirmed that aqueous leaf extract of Azadirachta indica is a suitable green template to prepare heterogeneous ZnO nanoflowers. Green methods are be good competent for the chemical procedures, which are environment friendly and convenient.

Characterization of the interlaminar shear strength of angle ply kevlar/glass hybrid composites
In this paper experimental investigation has been carried out on kevlar/glass angle ply hybrid composites to characterize interlaminar shear strength. With the aim of determining the influence that the structure, a reinforcement type and a sort of resin exert upon the interlaminar strength. Hybrid composites are considered materials of great potential for engineering applications. One advantage of hybrid composite materials for the designer is that the properties of a composite can be controlled to a considerable extent by the choice of fibers and matrix and by adjusting the orientation of the fiber. The scope for this tailoring of the properties of the material is much greater, however, when different kinds of fiber orientations are incorporated in the same resin matrix. Three orientations viz 0?/90?, ±45?and 60?/30? were considered for studies. Mechanical properties such as interlaminar strength, interlaminar stiffness, & peak load of the hybrid composites were determined as per ASTM standards. Vacuum bagging technique was adopted for the fabrication of hybrid specimens. It was observed that orientation at 0?/90?showed significant increase in ILSS properties as compared to other orientation.

Amino acid composition of three fresh water fish samples commonly found in south western states of Nigeria
The amino acid components of three fresh water fishes: African catfish (Clarias gariepinus), snake fish (Channa striatus) and tilapia fish (Tilapia zillii) were reported. Among the amino acids investigated, aspartic and glutamic acids were found most abundant in all the three samples with values ranging from 10.4 – 10.7 g/100g crude protein, cp (aspartic acid) and 14.3-14.6 g/100g cp (glutamic acid. The most abundant essential amino acids were Lysine (Leu), Leucine (Leu), and Arginine (Arg). The total acidic and amino acids (TAAA) (24.9 – 25.2g/100g, cp) in all the samples were greater than the total basic amino acids (TBAA) (18.4 – 19.8g/100g, cp) and Leu / Ile ratio values (2.09 – 2.20) showed that Leu > Ile in all the samples. The predicted protein efficiency ratio (P-PER) values (3.46-3.59) were considerably high and this would make them good food complements. The isoelectric point (pI) ranged from 4.68 – 6.04, showing that they are in acidic medium. In essential amino acid scores (based on whole hen’s egg), Lys was highest in all the sample with values ranging from 1.57 – 1.66 and their limiting essential amino acid was Valine (Val). On provisional essential amino acid scoring pattern, Lys (1.77 – 1.87) and Val (0.93) had the highest and lowest scores respectively. Essential amino acid scores based on pattern for pre-school children showed that all the samples would supply the required essential amino acids for pre-school children (2 – 5 years old). Generally, the samples are good sources of essential amino acids.
