The ultrasonic velocity, density and viscosity in the pure as well as in the binary mixture of Tributyle Phosphate (TBP) and Carbon tetrachloride (CCl4) were measured. The variation of ultrasonic velocity and the other calculated acoustic parameters at temperature 300C for different frequencies shows significant information about the intermolecular interactions present in the binary mixture. The shifting of ?max in UV-visible spectra in the binary mixture agrees with the results of ultrasonic investigation of the binary mixture. The recovery of REE material like CeO2 with the help of this ultrasonic technique can be explained in terms of intermolecular interactions present in the binary mixture. Again the result provides an optimum value of the binary mixture for recovery of CeO2 which is well supported by other chemical treatments.

Abstract Single crystals of pure and potassium chloride (KCl) doped zinc (tris) thiourea sulphate (ZTS) were grown from aqueous solution by slow evaporation method. The unit cell parameters and crystal structure were determined by powder X – ray diffraction. The chemical compositions of the crystals were determined by Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) analysis. The cut off wavelength of the grown crystals was determined by UV-visible absorption spectra. The second harmonic generation of crystals was confirmed by Kurtz powder method using Nd: YAG laser. The dielectric response of the grown crystal was varied with varying frequencies. Microhardness test was also carried out on the samples to study the mechanical stability of the grown crystals.

This paper is the study on setting up a solar PV system plant and rooftop system in the northern hemisphere of India. It includes brief explanation on structure, calculations based on the approximated data collected from the 5MW plant and maintenance required to get the maximum efficiency of the plant. However many locations around the world have years of weather records that will provide average data which is sufficient for designing a PV systems and if no long term data exists for the chosen site, in that case the availability of sun light and the amount of sunshine can also be estimated with the help of available equipments.

Production of Karanja oil methyl ester (biodiesel) from non-edible vegetable oils for diesel substitute is particularly important because of the decreasing trend of economical oil reserves, environmental problems caused due to fossil fuel use and the high price of petroleum products in the international market. Present work reports an optimized protocol for the production of methyl ester through alkaline catalyzed transesterification of Karanja Oil Three principal variables, molar ratio of methanol to oil, amount of catalyst, and reaction temperature affecting the yield of alkaline catalyzed production of methyl ester from Karanja oil were investigated. The methyl ester with best yield and quality was produced with karanja methyl ester at 1:9 mole ratio and 1 wt% of catalyst (NaOH) The rate of transesterification in a batch reactor increased with temperature upto 60 °C the yield was 91%. It was noted that greater or lower the concentration of NaOH or methanol than the optimal values, the reaction either fully occur or lead to soap formation. Physical and chemical properties of Karanja methyl ester are compared to that of petroleum diesel. Pongamia pinnata(karanja) oil to methyl ester conversion determined by GC-MS analysis. The produced methyl ester was found to exhibit fuel properties within the limits prescribed by the American Standards for Testing Material (ASTM) and European EN standards.

Water is one of most important gift nature has given to humanity. The importance of this gift of nature is such that without it man could hardly exist. However, the major source of water is groundwater which is mostly polluted by bacteria due to activities around the wells. The aim of the study is to access the level of pollution in shallow wells in Ogbomoso by bacteria. Groundwater samples were collected from ten (10) wells at different locations in Ogbomoso, Oyo State, Nigeria. The samples were taken to the laboratory for Physical and Microbial analysis. The parameters determined include pH, temperature, odour, Total Viable Count (TVC), Total Yeast Count (TYC), Total Mould Count (TMC) and isolation of organisms. Physical parameters in the samples indicated groundwater pollution were below the WHO limits for consumption and USEPA maximum contaminant level. The pH ranged from 5.46-6.65 indicating toxic pollution. In the same vein, odour, temperature and depth range from mild, 23.4-26.0 celsius and 6.3-24.5fts respectively. Organisms identified during isolation include salmonella spp, shigella spp and e.coli. TVC, TYC and TFC ranges between 9.6-57.3(cfu/ml), 4.1-30.0(cfu/ml) and 0-31.2(cfu/ml) respectively. It is concluded that the samples were polluted due to activities around the water source such as improper waste disposal and care for the water source in the environment. The microbial constituents of the entire samples are high and require treatment before domestic use. Borehole provisions, groundwater monitoring and effective nutrient management in the study area were recommended.

Collaborative filtering is one of the most widely used techniques in the recommender systems. determining the similarity between users is the base of collaborative filtering based recommender systems. obviously, choosing a proper similarity function improves the accuracy of recommendation in recommender systems. In this paper we provided a new similarity measure using features and have compared results with improved similarity measure and pearson traditional similarity measure. the comparison results show that our proposed method not only increases the accuracy of recommender, but also increases the prediction quality. .

The use of internet banking as a way for banking transactions has been dispersed around the world due to improvements in various aspects of technology. Iran has not been the exception of this advancement and consequently the number of internet banking affaires seems to be increasing dramatically recently. The aim of this study is investigating the factors affecting internet banking adoption in Iran. For this purpose, the extended TAM model is conducted as a conceptual framework. To collect the data needed to implement this exploratory research 230 people, who have bank accounts in Tehran and are of different demographical backgrounds, were selected to complete a standardized structured questionnaire. The questions of the questionnaire utilized in this study have been written in a closed-ended structure and the questionnaires were sent by mail or done through self-completion. Data are analyzed using Structured Equation Modeling (SEM) to evaluate the strength of the hypothesized relations. The results were well matched with integrated TAM and perceived risk models and confirm its robustness in predicting customers' intention of internet banking adoption in Iran. The results showed that the behavioral intention to use internet banking is positively affected mainly by digital literacy, self-efficacy and variables of TAM model and negatively affected by perceived risk.

Plastination is a technique for the preservation of human and animal tissues of body parts for teaching and research. it used more than 40 medical and dental colleges in throughout the world. The plastinated specimens are more use full in the field of anatomy, pathology and surgery and all so the plastinated specimens can be displayed in all museums for the public. Centrifugal pumps are the most widely used pumps due to their simple construction and ease of installation. As use of centrifugal pumps is very common they need to be efficient and low power consuming. Performance of a centrifugal pump depends on various factors like blade angle, blade thickness, number of blades, blade shape, blade outlet diameter etc. In the present analysis the effect of blade shape on the performance of centrifugal pump is shown by designing the blade profile using Concentric Circular Arc Method and Point By Point Method. For both the methods design parameters are kept same and CFD analysis is done to obtain the performance of pump at different flow conditions. Various results are evaluated and compared through charts and graphs.

Contract farming which was virtually unknown in the poultry sector half a century ago, has proliferated rapidly. The growth of poultry sector in India was also marked by an increase in the size of poultry farm. Like wise, the practice of integration or contract farming caught up the imagination of the people in the rural areas also. A study was conducted to know the reasons for preference towards contract broiler farming among 200 broiler farmers in Coimbatore and Erode districts. Conventional analysis like mean and percentages were used for the study. The results showed that, except for the chick quality the respondents were contented with all the inputs supplied.
