To help the user to cope with such a variety of interfaces, instance types, and pricing models, cloud brokers have emerged as a powerful tool to serve as intermediary between end users and cloud providers. A cloud broker can provide a uniform interface independently of the particular cloud provider technology, can collect automatically information from providers (instance availability, prices, etc.), and can help cloud users to choose the right platforms when deploying their services across multiple clouds, also allowing them to switch between platforms to get the best conditions.

The diameter distribution models of a natural stand in Shasha forest reserve (1.44ha permanent sample plots), South West Nigeria, were modeled with Beta distribution function. The data consisted of dbh measurement of all the trees with dbh ? 10cm. The data set for 1960 was used to model the diameter distribution while 1976 data set was used for model validation which should not be significance to the observed values. Simple linear regression equation was used to fit the Beta function/models. The best model from all the parameters was selected based on least values of standard deviation error, significance and high coefficient of determination. The result revealed that 68 tree species were currently available in the study area. The maximum dbh was observed in 1960 data set (164.91cm) while the least was observed in 2011 data set (81cm). The best model fit was (a+b) = 0.80lnDq – 200.79 (R2 = 61.31%, SE = 24.78 and p = 0.0003). The results of the models validation revealed that there were no significant differences between the observed and the predicted value of the parameters. Models developed are therefore recommended for application in the projection of diameter distribution for proper management.

Dengue (dengue hemorrhagic fever) has emerged as an epidemic in Pakistan, since 1994. The recent dengue outbreak in year-2011 has drawn serious attention, which has affected over 16,000 people, out of which 306 are reported to have died. By analyzing the available scientific research, this paper reviews the consequences, which have resulted in increased activity of vector, i.e. ‘Aedes aegypti’ during year-2011. The paper establishes a link of the 2011 dengue outbreak with hydro-meteorological events, which have occurred over the year- 2011, which are attributed to climate change. The paper concludes that suitable climatic conditions prevailed during the year, which promoted the the insect’s survival time and habitat but also its replication and maturation, leading to un-president epidemic outbreak of dengue. The paper also proposes appropriate policy planning and institutional, technical, operational/administrative and social and recommendations to manage and control any future dengue outbreaks in Pakistan.

By appearing information age and the promotion of interpersonal relationships and the manifest of strategic organizational, the emotional intelligence hypothesis have had a remarkable growth and became one of the popular organizational major. Emotional intelligence is a comprehensive expression including extensive collection of skills and personal specifications which is above certain scope of previous knowledge like technical or professional skills. The influence of emotional intelligence on financial resources attraction of Saderat bank managers has been assessed in current paper. Emotional intelligence dimensions in this study are: self-awareness, self regulating, motivating oneself, empathy, and social skills. the proposed hypotheses by applying Spearman and Friedman tests have been assessed and the positive and meaningful relationship between emotional intelligence and financial resources attraction were approved that motivating oneself, self regulating and self awareness were chosen as the most important ones. Among demographic characteristics there is positive relationship between managers’ age and financial resources attraction. Finally the results of Binomial test show that all variables were placed in high levels.

A rapid, simple, sensitive and selective spectrophotometric method has been developed for the determination of Molybdenum (VI) using Cinnamaldehyde thosemicabazone (CMTSC). Molybdenum (VI) forms a green coluored water-soluble complex with CMTSC in presence of Triton-X (100) (5%) (micellar medium) and the complex shows maximum absorbance while the reagent blank shows negligible absorbance at lmax 400 nm and at pH 4.0. Beer's law was obeyed in the range 0.095-0.959 mg/mL and the optimum concentration range from ringbom plot was 0.191-0.863 mg/mL of Molybdenum (VI). The molar absorptivity and Sandell's sensitivity for the coloured solution are found to be 5.05x104 L mol-1cm-1 and 0.0018-µg.cm-2 respectively. The interference effect of various diverse ions has been studied. The complex shows 1:1 [Mo (VI): CMTSC] stoichiometry with stability constant 3.5x105. The standard deviation of the method in the determination of 0.383-µg ml-1 of Molybdenum (VI) was 0.001. First and second order derivative spectrophotometric methods are developed at lmax 420 nm and 440 nm respectively for the determination of Molybdenum (VI) which was more sensitive than the zero order method. The developed method has been used for the determination of Molybdenum (VI) in foodstuffs, pharmaceutical samples and in alloys. The results are in good agreement with the certified values.

The idea of passing the bosphorus under the sea with a tubular structure is evaluated for the period in question. The evidence of the pocess of driling ground between Üsküdar and the side across is analysed in detail as a proof indicating that this Project was thought to be realized. Main questions of the research is as follows. What is the current situation of these projects. Why was there a need for a tubular passage way? Who were the contactors? What are the Project alternatives? What was the details of design proposals? Why were these cancelled? What kind of a perspective do these projects supply for today and tomorrow? The initial hypothesis before the study is that these projects were a part of governmental renewal program, these were developed as a solution for the problems of the city and cancelled due to war or financial reasons, method is genetic and pragmatic historical research. Up to now, the subject has not been explained in such detail with the agreement text analysed and sources used.

Gravity data were acquired along two profiles in some parts of the Njaba River sub-basin located in Southeastern Nigeria. Profile A-A’ runs for about 30 kilometers from Ogbaku to Oguta lake and Profile B-B’ (covers about 12km) runs from Mgbidi to Oguta lake with the end of the two profiles meeting at the lake. The corrected data is interpreted to prove the petroleum potentiality of the study area. The Bouguer gravity anomaly along Profile A-A’ revealed an initial positive gravity values (+50 to +10 g.u.) to a wavelength (distance) of about 21km and then followed by a sudden drop of the observed gravity showing a significant gravity minimum to a value of about -150 g.u. Profile B-B’ showed an alternating gravity highs and lows which was followed by a sharp drop in the observed gravity (-140 g.u.) when getting close to Oguta lake where the ends of the two profiles (A’ and B’) met. Further investigation showed that the structure modeled is graben (gravity low) and horsts (gravity high) bounded by two normal faults. The gravity high observed is due to the lesser density contrasts between the sediments and the basement, that is, the basement is closer to the surface (when compared with the areas showing negative anomaly) which could be explained to have resulted from the upwarping of the crust. The area showing gravity low shows thick sedimentary accumulation of recently deposited alluvium deposits deposited in the subsided area bounded by these two faults. The structural framework of the parts of the Njaba River sub-basin studied in particularly the northwestern part of the sub-basin in which structural faults and thick sediment pile were observed suggests an environment favorable for large-scale entrapment of hydrocarbons. This is justified by the ongoing exploration and exploitation of petroleum resources in the area and its environs (Oguta, Izombe, and Ossu oil fields). Further geologic and geophysical (3D seismic survey) studies is recommended to accurately map and obtain more information on the subsurface geological structures and stratigraphy of the sub-basin.

The effects of dry-heat and seed soaking in distilled water on germination performance of W. somnifera and Sida cordifolia L. were studied. Dry-heat pretreatments for several times (1-60 min) significantly increase germination percentage. The highest germination was obtained at 1000 C (80% and 83%, respectively). A significant increase in germination rate was achieved under different pretreatments. The physiological dormancy caused by an impermeable seed coat can be overcome by dry-heat pretreatments. Further micrography and anatomical studies of both the plants were also made.

The present study was to develop once-daily extended release tablet of Lamotrigine, an Anticonvulsant. It is a phenyl triazines derivative showing effective anti-convulsant properties mainly used in effective in preventing seizure spread in the maximum electroshock (MES). The tablets were prepared by the wet granulation method.. The aim of the current study was to develop and optimize a simple matrix system of the model drug (BCS Class-II) using minimum possible excipients, to release the drug in a controlled fashion.Core tablets of model drug (F1 – F12) were successfully prepared by direct compression method, Mannitol SD200 & different grades of HPMC, Xanthan gum, Surelease and Magnesium stearate as excipients by direct compression method. The F11 formulation is the best formulation out of 12 formulations, the F11 contains HPMC k4m and metalose polymers, they maximum drug release and it follows Higuchi model

Ayurveda and astrology are related aspects of Vedic science. Medical astrology is one of the main branches of astrology and is a very important pillar of Ayurveda. It includes remedial measures for harmonizing planetary influences on both body and mind. Astrology can determine the basic physical constitution of the individual from the birth chart, the physical appearance of the individual, the predominance of elements in their nature. It can calculate basic health, longevity and disease tendencies. Taking this into consideration a survey was planned to study the relation between different aspect of astrology (Western and Indian) with Prakriti (Ayurveda) in children. The survey was conducted over 225 subjects out of which 195 and 208 subjects were included in two categories of Western and Indian (Jyotish) astrology. It was found that both sciences have an impact on each other. Western astrology influence prakriti of individual upto 35.89% and Indian (Jyotish) effects prakriti upto 33.65%%.
