English, Kurdish, and Persian belong to Indo-European languages and they have the same proto form so they are called related (family) languages. As these languages have the same common ancestor, it is clear that they have some similar linguistic items regarding syntax, semantics, morphology, pragmatics, etc. But as they are spoken in different distinct areas, they may have some differences regarding these items. One of these linguistic items is grammatical aspect. This study was conducted to define and describe the concept and function of grammatical aspect in languages like English, Kurdish, and Persian to find if there were any similarities and differences among them. To do this, first the notions of aspect, tense, and time and also the difference between grammatical and lexical aspect were defined clearly. Then grammatical aspect was defined and described in each language by drawing separate tables. At the other part of the article, I compared grammatical aspect in three languages and found that there were some similarities and differences among these languages concerning grammatical aspect. Finally, the article concluded with making some conclusions and recommendation for those who want to learn these languages as second or foreign language. I hope this study can help the learners and teachers in facilitating the process of teaching/learning, and so do for translators and researchers to do their work better.

In this paper, we obtain successive differentiation and change of argument associated with Gould-Hopper polynomials. We also derived generalized Curzon's integral and linear generating relations.

The present paper reports the findings of a study on gender (sex) difference in the attitude of post-graduate male and female students towards motion pictures. A sample of 100 (Boys-50 and Girls-50) post-graduate students belonging to all SES categories was selected and comprised the subjects. A standardized film preference questionnaire was used to ascertain the gender (sex) difference in attitude towards motion pictures. Findings suggest that females posses more favourable attitude towards motion pictures than males. Again, females are talent and sympathetic towards changes where as males are more critical in their attitude towards motion pictures.

Some new chalcones, 2-4 bis (tetrahydro - 1,4-oxazine)-6-[4'-{3''-(substituted phenyl) -2''-propenon-1''-yl} phenyl amino]-s-triazine (6a-f) have been achieved by the reaction between 2-4-(bis- tetrahydro- 1,4-oxazine) -6-(4'-acetylphenylamino)-s-triazine (5) and different aromatic aldehydes, which on cyclisation with hydrazine hydrate in presence of acetic acid give acetyl pyrazolines (7a-f). Chalcones (6a-f) on cyclisation with guanidine hydrochloride in presence o f alkali give aminopyrimidines (8a-f). The characterization of newly synthesised compounds has been done on the basis of IR, 1H NMR spectral data as well as elemental analysis. All the synthesised compounds have been screened for their antimicrobial activity.

Language is an important medium of communication. Keeping in mind the importance of language in the mind making process, this study aims to examine the language of e-print media advertisements of Pakistan. The linguistic analysis has been done at semantic, phonological, morphological and syntactic level. The practices along with the functions of these linguistic devices have been analyzed. E-print media advertisements from various domains have been selected for the present study. Qualitative Discourse Analytic Approach to Text was used to analyze the linguistic devices. Through the linguistic analysis, it has been observed that language of advertisements has a very innovative and peculiar form which is unique, fascinating and memorable. Despite the fact that language of advertisements is breaking the set rules of language, it appears to be very attractive and contributing towards the success of advertisements which ultimately lead towards the sale of the product. It has been found that the language of advertisements is very rich area to be investigated by the linguists.

It is the quality and excellence that matters. These are deciding factors in any organization. Quality is what makes the difference between things being excellent or run of the mill. Quality Circles or Quality Control Circles as they are called in Japan, is a participative philosophy woven around Quality Control and problem solving at the bottom level. It exemplifies the policy of people building, respect for human beings and creates participative management culture.

The National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), an autonomous institution of U.G.C., New Delhi, having the responsibility of assessment and accreditation of colleges and universities in India has redesigned its methodology of assessment and accreditation on the basis of its own field experience, shared knowledge with international quality assurance agencies and quality imperatives in the changing global scenario in higher education. The new methodology has come into effect from 1st April 2007, with a view to enhance its rigor, reliability and validity. The sample has been taken from 44 institutions of higher education in Haryana. 7 teachers from each institution who were the members of the IQACs were included in the sample. These 44 institutions include 19 urban aided institutions (13 co-ed. And 6 women colleges), 8 urban government institutions (5 co-ed. and 3 women colleges), 11 rural aided institutions (3 co-ed. and 8 women colleges) and 6 rural government institutions (3 co-ed. and 3 women colleges).

The IQACs in the educational institutions of higher learning on the recommendation of NAAC can definitely contribute to the aspects such as increasing involvement of human resources, reduction of work pressure on management, human resource work in a smarter way than harder way, conversion of average into high achievers, enhancement in human resource efficiency, existence of better academic environment, collective administrative decision making, transparency in the financial transactions, better work culture, new dimension to education sector and raising the level of job satisfaction in various degrees. The sample has been taken from 44 institutions of higher education in Haryana. The coordinators of IQACs in each college were contacted to respond to the queries. These 44 institutions include 19 urban aided institutions (13 co-ed. And 6 women colleges), 8 urban government institutions (5 co-ed. and 3 women colleges), 11 rural aided institutions (3 co-ed. and 8 women colleges) and 6 rural government institutions (3 co-ed. and 3 women colleges).

MIS is an organizational information system which supports not only operations but also the management processes by providing the 'right information’ to the ‘right people’ at the ‘right time’ and at the ‘right cost’. The information is said to be right when it possesses all the attributes like timeliness, accuracy and reliability, adequacy, consistency and uniformity, brevity, need based, economy, predictive ability, etc. Right people means 'one information not to all the decision makers and all the information not to one decision maker’. Right time and right cost do not need any explanation. When these four rights are right, MIS is bound to be right and effective in discharging its role.

By refusing to separate the management and workforce into water-tight compartments, the concept of Quality Circles made a radical departure from the western style of management. In the Quality Circle approach, the task performers at the grass-root level are given the privilege of participation in progress and to have a say in the work they do. Similarly, when we apply in academics, we suppose that people performing the tasks can rise to the occasion, solve their problems and recommend solutions provided the knowledge to analyze their problems is given. Ownership and responsibility towards the task are passed to the teachers and students doing the job. Quality Circles in academics do not segregate management, teachers and students into different blocks but treat them all as seekers of truth, together treading the path of knowledge. This in essence is the conceptual frame of the Quality Circles when we apply them in education.
