Purpose:- The study targeted the evaluation the effect of hemodialysis on blood glucose in renal failure patients at Shendi town in Sudan during(January–February) 2013. Objectives:- General Objective: To estimate blood glucose level pre and post hemodialysis. Specific Objective: 1. To identify the blood glucose level pre and post hemodialysis. 2. To identify the effect of duration of hemodialysis. 3. To identify the risk factors that cause hypoglycemia during hemodialysis. 4. To identify the people prone to hypoglycemia during hemodialysis.. Methods: Study design: Across sectional descriptive study, conducted at Shendi town during the period from March to May 2015 that aimed to estimate blood glucose in renal failure pre and post dialysis. Study area: The study was done at Shendi town which is located in the north of Sudan and north of the capital Khartoum located about 173km and covering area about 30km. Study population sampling: A total of 30 sample pre dialysis, and 30 sample post dialysis was collected from renal failure patients in hospital. Data collection tools: Information from dialysis patients were collected in performed questionnaire. collection technique: 2.5 ml of fresh venous blood was collected from each patient pre and post dialysis in fluoride oxalate container for determination of glucose level. method used: For the quantitative determination of glucose in serum and plasma Glucose oxidase method was used. Results: The statistical analysis of the results showed that the mean of glucose is lower in post hemodialysis (84.5)mg/dl. While the mean of glucose in pre hemodialysis (117.8)mg/dl .The P value is 0.000 which means that there is a highly significant variation between pre and post , where the values are high in post, and this agrees with Study done by Miho Senda et entitled(The strong relation between post –hemodialysis blood methylglyoxal levels and post-hemodialysis blood glucose concentration rise ,Clinical and Experimental Nephrology,20 Aug 2014 Conclusion: From this research we concluded that the level of blood glucose in renal failure patients is decrease post hemodialysis, which means there is a clear effect of hemodialysis on blood glucose level.

Over the past decades, studies of language skills have showed the importance of reading comprehension ability among EFL learners. This study aimed at determining the relationship of brain quadrants with reading comprehension skill among Iranian EFL students. The study was based on Herrmann’s Whole Brain Model. 110 University students studying TEFL at Islamic Azad University of Mashhad were randomly selected for the purpose of this study. Herrmann's Whole Brain Dominance questionnaire and a standard TOEFL reading comprehension test were used in the study in order to measure students' brain quadrant preference and reading comprehension ability. The results of statistical analysis indicated that there was a positive relationship between brain quadrants and reading comprehension ability. The study concluded that students, who were D quadrant preference, performed significantly better (P < .05) than the other learners on reading comprehension test.

The transactions within the retail sector often require face-to-face interactions between buyers and sellers. In most cases, consumption and production of retail services take place in very close proximity. This paper aimed at determining the location preference of shop/ retail uses in urban areas in Lagos State, Nigeria. In other to achieve this, the following research questions are raised (1) what are the location preferences for a prospective shop owner? (2)What are the factors affecting the decision of a retailer to locate his/her shop (3) what are the available facilities within the shops. The findings revealed that apart from accessibility which serves as the base/preference for location of any land uses, the type of goods sold is the most important factor when it comes to location preferences for shops / retail outlets. Proximity to manufacturer was ranked last on the list. It is concluded that proximity to manufacturers factory is not a serious determinant in sitting shops which show that where the goods is produced is not the concern of the shopper.

Leadership is vital in raising and maintaining educational standards, providing clear leadership for staff and students, running the school effectively, and helping develop the ethos and vision for the school as a whole. The study sought to assess the perceived influences of leadership styles on students’ performance, investigate the leadership roles and practices school administrators adopt to improve students’ achievements, elicit the viewpoints of school administrators, teachers and students on their preferred leadership styles. The study adopted a descriptive study design. A total of 286 respondents were sampled from a total population of 6,425. Simple random sampling procedure was used to sample students and teachers, while all the six (6) head teachers of the selected schools were used for the study.

A Code of Ethics outlines principles that project honesty and integrity to help guide individuals when making business decisions. The Code outlines the organisations mission and sometimes values to ensure ethical dealings are carried out by employees. As seen by the demise of many organisations, the mere reliance on the fact that an employee acknowledges the Code of Ethics does not ensure that the employee will be governed by the ethical principles. The purpose of this study was to evaluate whether integrity testing could contribute to the enhancement of the principles of the Code of Ethics. Integrity is based on the consistency of morals and values carried out. Quantitative techniques were used to analyse integrity test results. In line with theoretical knowledge, the statistical results revealed correlations as well as collective measures of employee behaviours and attitudes that would impact on the principles of the Code of Ethics and the organisation as a whole.

Fillers added to the matrix material help to enhance the properties of a composite. The present research investigation has aimed to the electrical study on synthesized alumina fibre reinforced epoxy composites at room temperature with different concentration of alumina fibre along with different frequencies. Decrease in dielectric constant and dielectric loss is found on increasing the frequency. Increase in ac conductivity has been found on increasing the frequency as well as concentration of filler. The resultant samples were prepared by hand lay technique. Cluster of alumina fibre is found on the surface of epoxy composite when examined by Scanning electron microscopy.

The study deals with survey of Aeromycoflora of commercial complexes like shopping malls of Raipur city and other commercial buildings like restaurants, hotels, educational building, gyms, parlors, bakery, shops etc was done to find out fungal spore types present in air and how they affect humans by spreading variety of allergic diseases. Raipur is the capital city of Chhattisgarh is an industrial and commercial hub. Fungal spores are abundant in nature and much evidence is now available to show that fungi can cause atopic clinical illnesses. Many of these fungal spores are lesser than 10 microns in diameter and their deposition into lower airways is common. Fungal sensitization is a significant risk factor for developing asthma in later part of life. Molds grow in indoor and outdoor environments. An experiment was conducted during the session 2013-2014 in commercial complexes to see the aeromycoflora of Raipur city and to explore the different forms of fungi. In present investigation in Malls less number of fungal spores were found as compared to other commercial buildings. Aspergillus, Penicillium, Cladosporium, Mucor, Curvularia and Alternaria were found more prevalent in different commercial areas of the city. The present aerobiological investigation was carried out by using gravity petriplate method. Some important allergenic fungus like Aspergillus, Penicillium, Alternaria,Curvularia, Fusarium, Cladosporium were found more prevalent in other commercial complexes. Study of this fungal spores in commercial areas play an important role in tracing number of respiratory allergies and cause a wide range of symptoms, including allergic rhinitis, asthma, chronic bronchitis, Atopic dermatitis etc. in human beings. The performance of the Barekese Water treatment plant situated near Kumasi in Ghana has been evaluated. The raw water that feeds the plant was found to be weakly acidic (pH6.3), high in turbidity (4.8 NTU) and high in iron content (2.7 mg/L). The values however reduced tremendously in the final treated water. With the exception of acidity which decreased only marginally (pH6.4), turbidity decreased to 0.8 NTU and the concentration of iron was below the detection limit. The results of the study suggest the water treatment plant performed well in terms of reducing the levels of some other contaminants to levels below the WHO guideline limits. The water treatment plant was also able to reduce the faecal coliform levels to zero which is within the WHO permissible limits

Motivation plays an indispensable role in learning. Though motivation has got a lot of attention in literature of language learning, demotivation has not got much attention in general and particularly in Iranian EFL context. As Dörnyei (2001: p. 5) postulates "Demotivation is a salient phenomenon in L2 learning" and "much further research is needed to do this important motivational factor justice". The aim of the present study is to find out what the main demotivating factors in speaking skills among gifted students at SAMPAD schools are. In order to achieve this goal, 571 students who are secondary students in SAMPAD schools in Tehran were selected. The sampling was convenient sampling, and both male and female students participated in this study. A questioner which was validated and reliable was distributed among participants, and 68 students were interviewed. The findings of both quantitative and qualitative data reveal that five demotivating factors hindering learners in speaking classes are, teacher, material and content, facilities, attitude and teaching learning context. The findings can be applied for teacher development courses in which mentors can shed light on the importance of motivational factors in EFL classes. The aim of present study is to investigate the impact of metacognitive strategies on the improvement of Iranian EFL learners? listening comprehension skill. In order to achieve the goal of present study, a sample test of KET was administered to 70 students to check whether two groups are homogenous or not. Their ages varies between 12-15, after doing language test, participants were divided into two groups as experimental and control groups. The experimental group received listening tasks through metacognitive strategies in three phase ( pre-listening, listening, and post-listening). The Metacognitive Awareness Listening Questionnaire (MALQ) was developed by Vangrift et al. (2006) is used for both groups. A pretest was chosen from Cambridge Practice Test was given to the participants that ensure there were no significant difference between experimental and control groups, and they belong to the same population.. The experimental group had 16 training sessions, two hours each sessions; twice a week .used same materials were used for both groups. The students were asked to answer 7 questions of self-report after listening and 16 questions of checklists. After the treatment all participants had Cambridge test as post-test to check possible differences between treatment group and control group.
