The purpose of this study was to assess the level of job satisfaction of library professionals as it affects the organizational productivity in selected academic libraries in southwest Nigeria. The descriptive research design was adopted for this study. The study population was made up of 94 librarians drawn from the six selected university. The questionnaire instrument was used to gather relevant data. The data were analyzed with descriptive and inferential statistics using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS). The findings revealed that job satisfaction positively affects Organizational productivity of the professional studied. This study thus concluded that job satisfaction has great impact in the overall Organizational Productivity of Library Professionals in academic libraries in Nigeria.

Internal organizational communication plays an important role in facilitating effective and efficient library operations and service delivery. However, over the years, the University of Nairobi library system, scattered across six campuses, has registered many complaints, both from the Library staff and users of information services due to poor internal organizational communication. The aim of this study was, therefore, to analyse the existing internal organizational communication at the University of Nairobi library system with the view of suggesting ways in which it can be enhanced. The objectives of the study were: to determine the effectiveness of the used forms and channels of internal communication on the execution of library operations and services; to establish the internal communication policy framework governing internal communication at the university library system and to suggest ways of optimising the use of forms and channels of internal communication to enhance library operations and services. The study population was composed of various cadres of University of Nairobi Library staff stationed at the six campuses. Out of 167 members of the library staff, 45 were purposefully and randomly selected to form the study sample. Data was collected using face-to-face interviews and documentary reviews. Data was analysed thematically and presented by use of descriptive statistics. The findings of the study revealed that internal organisational communication was largely inadequate due to variations in communication practices in the various branches of the Library and an inefficient internal communication policy. The study subsequently recommends a review of the existing communication policy and streamlining of the internal communication practices to improve library operations and Services.

The study area Afikpo and its environs lie between longitudes 7?45'E and 8?15' E and latitudes 5?45'N and 60?00'N. Structural interpretation over the area was carried out using Remote Sensing technique. The objectives of the analysis were to identify the lineament and drainage patterns associated with the study area, identify the structural pattern/trends and correlate the relationship of such structures with groundwater exploration in the area. The image was acquired with an Enhanced Thematic Mapper (ETM) and processed using Integrated Land and Water Information System ILWIS 3.2. Lineament and drainage pattern maps of the same scale as the original landsat imagery were generated and visually analyzed. The orientation of the lineaments in the study area was analysed using a Rose diagram. The result revealed that the area is drained by several rivers observed to be striking NE-SW, NW-SE, N-W and S-E directions, with NE-SW being the dominant trend. The lineament analysis revealed that the drainage observed in the area is structurally controlled and also the trend of the tectonic activity that previously acted in the study area. The regions where the lineaments intercept each are prospective areas for groundwater exploration.

Lately in educational organization, voluminous studies accentuate the momentous of leadership in mobilizing creativity. Creativity skill is seen as one of the important skills required for the 21st century leadership, which is also known as the tool for creative leader’s mind in engaging and stimulating ideas to execute outcomes. Hence, leaders should create an opportunity by involving every employee and stakeholders in schools to contribute their ideas towards developing creative solutions to enhance school productivity. The focal point of this article is to offer a conceptual framework on creative leadership practices among school leaders towards collaborative school culture. Intensive reviews of literature will be used in the fields of creative leadership and school culture with the aim to nurture leaders into better leaders and encourage collaborative school culture. The framework contributes a new shed on the implication of creative leadership practices and collaborative school culture. It also will contribute a new theory development and offered suggestions for follow up research.

Data mining is a technique that utilizes a range of data to provide valuable information. Customer relationship management through data mining can be a powerful tool for attracting, retaining, and promoting customers in today businesses. Banks, financial institutions, and insurance institutions are of those business that collect and storage many data from their customers on a daily basis. This research on one of private banks in Khomein city was accomplished in September 2012 in which 5939 customers with 7199 transactions were studied. These transactions were modeled using four demographic characteristics including age, gender, education, and occupation. At first, data was preprocessed which was the most time-consuming part of the study. After that, using visualization technique, graphic display of customers' demography was obtained. And then, the customers' transactions were predicted based on their transaction volume and probability, and it was checked whether the customers accept the bank's new service (i. e. instant card issuance) by using decision tree algorithm. Finally, the customers were clustered by conducting the two step algorithm and the result was that the cluster of 2543 transactions (cluster 1) is comprised of target customers. The characteristics of customers in target cluster are the age of 25~40, often having a bachelor degree, and be self-employed.

The inorganic compounds often consist of relatively small number of broad bands compared with the spectra of organic compounds. Giant cell tumor (GCT) of the distal radius poses problems for reconstruction after resection. Several reconstructive procedures like vascularized and non-vascularized fibular graft, osteo-articular allograft, ceramic prosthesis and megaprosthesis are in use for substitution of the defect in the distal radius following resection. Most authors advocate wrist arthrodesis following resection of distal radius and non vascularized fibular graft. Here we have used a self-grafting by iliac crest the results are very satisfactory

Environmenatal factors such as climate change, gradual decrease in water resources and threatened habitants prompted the need to monitor our environment and implement better policies to protect it, thus monitoring soil pF (potential factor) values become increasingly important for environmental monitoring. The commonly available instrument(tensiometer) do not measure the range of available moisture in all soil types rather measures soil water suction. The need to measure the range of available moisture in all soil types with accuracy led to the modification of tensiometer for satisfactory laboratory results. Due to the shortcomings associated with tensiometer readings, the pressure membrane apparatus is an important instrument for optimizing irrigation and erosion prediction models.This pressure membrane with extractor has two main components:a porous plate with air entry pressure and a sealed pressure cell. The soil from which pF value was to be determined was placed in a chamber in which the pressure increased above atmospheric pressure. The side of the chamber which supports the soil consists of a pressure relief valve supported on a pressure hose. This is to ensure that the extractor chamber was not over-pressurized. The soil water potential with the corresponding mositure contents of four soil samples: A (clay soil), B(loamy soil), C (sandy soil) and D (silt) obtained from different locations were determined using pressure membrane apparatus. At a potential of 104hPa, samples A,B,C,D showed moisture content of 0.05,0.25,0.30, and 0.45cm3/cm3respectively. From the obtained results, at potentail close to zero, sandy soil is close to saturation and moisture held in the soil, primarily by capillary forces. From the laboratory analysis, moisture content decreases with high moisture cohesion.

Wireless sensor networks are generally deployed in inaccessible terrains for monitoring certain physical parameters like temperature, pressure etc. Sensor nodes sense the event and send the sensed data towards sink nodes using multi hop path. Since radio communication is expensive in terms of energy consumption, the sensor nodes typically spend most of their energy reserve on communication during data dissemination and retrieval. Storing data in-network at specific locations within WSNs that minimize packet transmissions reduces the energy consumption, and hence extends its lifetime. Considering limited storage space, limited energy and other constraints of sensors, a data caching mechanism for multi sink sensor networks is proposed. The proposed scheme Data Caching for query optimization in multi sink sensor networks (DCQOM) extracts the common sub tree of the networks first and then forms two caching zones: One from source node to common root and other from common root to sink nodes. The sensor nodes in the caching zones cooperate among themselves to form a larger cumulative cache. A token-based cache admission control scheme is devised, which ensures proximity of cached data closer to sink(s). Simulation results show that DCQOM provides substantial energy saving and data availability as compared to other caching schemes.

This article discusses the self-consciousness of youth in co-curricular activities forming their personality. In addition, this article also discussed the core curriculum which has been outlined by the Ministry of Education (MOE) to adolescents who are still studying in higher education institutions as well as the effectiveness of the curriculum in shaping the personality of adolescents including studies that have been done in connection with extra-curricular activities. This article also touched on the education system nowadays.
