ABSTRACT A subset D of the vertex set V(G) of a graph G is said to be a dominating set if every vertex not in D is adjacent to at least one vertex in D. A dominating set D is a connected dominating set, if < D > is a connected subgraph of G. For a Connected Graph G, a connected dominating set D is said to be a connected eccentric dominating set if for every v Î V-D, there exists at least one eccentric point of v in D. The minimum of the cardinalities of the connected eccentric dominating sets of G is called the connected eccentric domination number gced(G) of G. In this paper, bounds for g¬ced, and its exact value for some particular classes of graphs are found.

The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) serves as one of the most effective assessment tools to evaluate candidates’ overall English language proficiency being highly accepted by organizations and educational systems. Given that reading skills is believed to be a crucial skill for academic attainment (Cochran, 1993), test takers’ attitudes on reading for such an internationally recognized test and its relationship with their reading proficiency have been rarely explored. The present study was an attempt to investigate the attitudes of candidates towards IELTS test and its impact on their reading performance. To this end, 149 Participants (76 male and 73 female) were given a standardized attitude questionnaire (Rasti, 2009) to investigate the participants’ attitudes. The questionnaire was followed by two tests: A reading proficiency and a vocabulary test. The participants were also required to take a mock standard IELTS Academic Reading test to integrate statistical information. The results revealed that there is a significant positive correlation between the test takers’ attitudes towards the IELTS test and their reading performance. Additionally, there is a significant positive correlation between attitudes in general and reading proficiency and vocabulary knowledge. The findings consistent with other research (e.g., Chemutai, 2015; Hosseini, Hosseini, & Roudbari, 2013; Malallaha, 2000; Petrides, 2006) suggest that attitude should be considered as a key element through the processes of reading acquisition which may lead to better performance in proficiency tests. In the current paper, firstly literature is reviewed and various R & D assessment models in different industries are studied and finally, an assessment model selected that can evaluate R & D capabilities with the approach to new products development in automotive industry. Meanwhile this model has been tested in that article by structural equations and AMOS software, and also it was divided into 9 main classes with 29 indexes. In this research For the research purpose, firstly face validity, and then content validity was calculated using CVR form and Cronbach's reliability was calculated for research tool. Following approval of these items, questionnaires were distributed among 40 experts in Iran Khodro Co. working in engineering, new products development, quality and other units cooperating with R & D unit. Then, scores were given to 29 indexes by automotive industry experts and final score of 29 indexes and 9 main dimensions were evaluated. Considering obtained scores it was specified this company has highest capability in financial capability (80.83%) and technology capability (80.08%) dimensions compared to other dimensions. Also, it has lowest capability in strategic capability (61.38%) and customer and market capability (62.03%)dimensions compared to others. In addition, intellectual capital (70.17%), organizational structure (71.17%), research and design (73.17%), management (73.42%), and new products development process (77.50%) capabilities are in average level compared to other dimensions. Finally, some recommendations are made regarding dimensions and indexes with lower score in the organization.

Organotin compounds have attracted global attention due to their extensive use for agricultural, industrial, medicinal, and domestic applications. These applications have made them enter the environment. This has caused environmental concerns due to the proven toxicological relevance of the compounds. Their toxic effects result in extensive damage to non-target organisms at ultratrace concentration levels (ppt) and accumulation in sediments and biota. This leads to the legislative restriction place on the uses of some of these compounds. Despite the legislative restriction, their environmental pollutions continue. Hence, this review which is aimed at providing an overview of the application of organotin compounds and their environmental toxicities.

Region V, also known as the Bicol Region, is one of the seventeen regions in the Philippines. An organization in the region known as the Bicol Autonomy Movement claims that for a very long time its people have entrusted the region’s destiny to the national government which had been perennially accused of poor governance, and relegated the region to social and economic oblivion. The movement asserts regional autonomy so that Region V can rise up from the bondage of poverty and neglect (Jimenez, 2006). This study examined the actual revenues of the cities, municipalities and provinces of the Bicol Region, and the actual and projected revenues from national taxes collected locally through the Bureau of Internal Revenue. Then it proceeds with projected expenditures of setting up new governance structures for the Bicol Autonomous Regional Government, separate and distinct from existing expenditures of local government units. As an ending note, the paper brings forward some points that may be considered by the Bicol Autonomous Movement in terms of fiscal sustainability.

This article presents a Bourdieuian reading of Isabella Whitney`s A Sweet Nosegay (1573) and offers some important insights regarding the social status of women in the patriarchal society of the Renaissance era. This study embodies two primary aims; firstly, to investigate women`s social status based on Bourdieu`s theory concerning cultural, social, and economic capital and secondly, to ascertain that both habitus and field have a central role in determining one`s social position. The research data for this study are collected using Bourdieu`s assumptions regarding women`s perspectives in society that, to some extent, are in line with theories of Hélèn Cixous and Elaine Showalter concerning “écriture féminine”. Taken together, this study confirms previous findings and contributes evidence that suggests whether or not women had experienced the renaissance of female consciousness in the sixteenth century. Thermophoresis and radiative heat transfer on the unsteady boundary layer flow of a Casson fluid past an exponentially porous stretching sheet under the influence of a magnetic field in the presence of heat source/sink and chemical reaction is analysed. The governing partial differential equations of the flow are transformed into non-linear ordinary differential equations using similarity variables which are then solved numerically employing shooting technique along with Runge-Kutta iterative scheme. The graphical results reveal that the suction and magnetic field decelerate the velocity while the Casson parameter shows an opposite trend. The thermal boundary layer thickness is increased by the Casson parameter and heat source parameter. The rate of heat transfer is enhanced by thermal radiation parameter. The thermophoresis parameter along with Schmidt number is found to reduce the concentration predominantly.

Just back from first frenzied shopping experience in the UK, a four year old ever-inquisitive daughter asked to her father, “Why do we not have a Harrods in Delhi? Shopping there is so much fun!” Simple question for a four-year-old, but not So simple for her father to explain As per the current regulatory regime, retail trading (except under single-brand product retailing — FDI up to 51 per cent, under the Government route) is prohibited in India. Simply put, for a company to be able to get foreign funding, products sold by it to the general public should only be of a ‘single-brand’; this condition being in addition to a few other conditions to be adhered to. That explains why we do not have a Harrods in Delhi.

This study was to analyze the content of the news reported in network Press TV. It studied the reflection of political events in this network. The research was performed for highlighting and emphasizing the political functions of the media and political communication using content analysis. The choice of network news, news related to political events that represent the policy of the media network, is taken into consideration. The study samples included news about the political events in Press TV network. In this study, 141 reports were selected for content analysis in terms of indicators such as induced bias or impartiality, the value of news, news items, and other news sources were evaluated. According to the results, most of the news, with only one-sided and agreeing point of view in covering news related to Iran, reflected in a few cases. The viewpoints were one-sided in favor, and opposite views were covered too. Merely the reflection of the agreeing views will manifest the orientation of the news and shows the network as biased. Thus, it is suggested to avoid declining opposite views and to cover them in a proffessional way. This will not only make audience rely more on the news, but also will help the reports to be more effective and thus, it will be easier for the audience to accept the main theme of the network.

In this work we have demonstrated an experimental study and theoretical analysis of the effect of power intensity of illumination on the SnO2/n-Si Hetero-junction devices that irradiated with 150 min. (Cs 137) Gamma ray. The (J-V) characteristic was plotted as function of power intensity of illumination (1.95, 2.88, 3.78, 5.9, and 9.5) mw/cm2. This was shown increase in efficiency of this device until reach maximum efficiency at 9.5 mw/cm2 which represent optimal case. Theoretical analysis of this processes achieve by using “Table Curve 2D version 5.01” program leading to estimate theoretical modeling equation Y= a + b x +c ex We calculate these parameters (a, b, and c) as function of power intensity and testing the equation for power intensity (4 and 8 mw/cm2). Theoretical (J- V) curves are plotted with experimental data, there is a good agreement between them and the behavior of these two curves contain linear term and exponential term.
