The purposes of this research were to study the influence of social media on customer’s perception, case study PTT Public Company Limited (PTT) in order to measure the performance and propose the development approach. The sample were 400 customers living in major provinces around Thailand, aged over 18 years old and used social media in daily basis. Both quantitative and qualitative research methods were conducted. For quantitative method, data was collected by simple random sampling through questionnaires. Frequency, percentage and chi-square test were applied as statistical analysis tools. Statistical significance levels were set at .01 and .05. For Qualitative method, both in-depth interview and content analysis of online news about PTT were conducted by descriptive method. The study indicated that PTT's social media had the potential to provide relatively positive information at a moderately high level. This was good for the image and business. (products and services) of PTT both In terms of public relations and clarification. As for the suggestions for improvement included: 1. It was new media that did not cover all users. Therefore, it should be used in conjunction with traditional media. 2. It should be organized collected and integrated to be convenient to use. 3. There should be strategies to present it in a timely manner and be able to create a sense of togetherness. And 4. There should be a good content creation process to increase the positive impact and reduce the negative impact in order to enhance the customers to get good value from PTT.

This paper focuses on the experimentally investigating the impact of ambient temperature on the discharging efficiency of the battery of a sensor node of the wireless sensor network (WSN). Experimental results have shown 5.137% improvement of battery lifetime at 15oC when the sampling interval is 0.2 seconds with data compression, but the improvement is 16.679% when the sensor node is operated at the optimum sampling interval of 0.62 seconds with data compression. However, the maximum improvement in the battery lifetime is recorded when the sensor field temperature is 35o C with optimum sampling interval.

In the global economy of the 21st century, international trade will be a key source of economic growth and development. Recent surveys conducted in several countries by the National Foundation of Women Business Owners (NFWBO) indicate that women-owned firms involved in the global marketplace have greater revenues, are more optimistic about their business prospects and are more focused on business expansion than women-owned firms that are domestically oriented. Obviously, expanding into international trade can pay off for women-owned firms. However, it is not clear that smaller enterprises are benefiting from these potential as much as larger firms. In connection with the above here an attempt has made to study the role of women entrepreneurs in economic development.

Teachers are the back bone of society. Public and private schools are directly related with student achievements. A good school uses different strategies for student achievement. If the teachers are competent and teach students in better way, then they can achieve their goals in every field of life. This paper attempts to study the comparison of students’ achievement between public and private schools. This study shows that students’ achievement is based on quality education. Some factors affect the students achievement such as parent background, involvement of parents, low income, environment of a school and physical facilities.In this way this study shows that what influence the academic difference of public and private schools on students achievement. This study will be descriptive in nature therefore descriptive survey method of research will be used. The population of this study will comprise of all the secondary school students of distric Vehari. The sample of twenty secondary (private & public) schools will be selected from tehsil Vehari. Out of 1000 students 280 will be selected by using simple random technique. Questionnaire will be used to collect data from respondents. The collected data will be analyzed statistically by using (SPSS) software.

Corrosion is one of the most damaging and costly naturally occurring events seen today. The most common kinds of corrosion result from electrochemical reactions. It can be prevented if the metal is coated with something which does not allow moisture and oxygen to react with it. It can be controlled by either alloying or by anti rust solutions. The naturally occurring plant products are eco-friendly, compatible, nonpolluting, less toxic, easily available, biodegradable and economic to be used as corrosion inhibitor.Euphorbia caducifolia has been selected to study its corrosion inhibition efficiency. It is easily available in any season. It is native to Thar Desert of India and located on rocky terrain, hills. It is used for treatment of bleeding wound, cutaneous eruption, urinary problems, kidney stones, rheumatic pain, bronchitis, jaundice, diabities, stomach pain, hernia etc. It is also called “Thor” and “Danda-thor”. It contains caudicifolin) norcycloartane type triterpene, cyclocaducinol, triterpenes euphol, tirucallol and cycloartenol. Corrosion inhibition efficiency of arial parts of Euphorbia caducifolia was studied for aluminium in HCl. Maximum inhibition efficiency was found 99.47% in 1N HCl acid with 0.8% leaf corrosion inhibitor whereas it was 94.21% for stem and 90.51% for flower with same concentration of inhibitor i.e. 0.8%. Inhibition efficiency was studied in different concentration of acid (1N, 1.5N, 2N and 2.5N) with different concentration of inhibitor (0.2%, 0.4%, 0.6% and 0.8%). Weight loss and thermometric methods were used. Inhibition efficiency was found to be increase with increase in concentration of inhibitor and decrease with increase in acid strength.

Economic sanctions can result in more than a 70% decrease in business activities in a sanctioned country. The purpose of this qualitative single case study was to identify the strategies import and export small business owners use to sustain businesses under economic sanctions. The population for this study was import and export small business owners in the state of Khartoum, Sudan. General systems theory served as the conceptual framework and underpinned the study. The data collection included semistructured interviews and government financial reports. Adhering to an interview protocol, conducting transcript reviews of participants’ interviews, member checking, and methodological triangulation represented the measures to ensure dependability, trustworthiness, creditability, transferability, and confirmability of the research. The thematic data analysis involved data cleaning, uploading the transcribed interviews into qualitative data analysis software, reorganizing the data, coding relevant information, and methodological triangulation against financial reports from the Central Bank of Sudan and the World Development Bank Indicators. The results from the thematic data analysis led to the identification of some major themes, notably, innovative strategies to secure funding and increase business sustainability despite the unfavorable economic climate consequent to the prevalent economic sanctions. The consensus among participants denoted that creative strategies presented the only choice to overcome the adverse business climate. The study findings may contribute to positive social change as the knowledge from it may aid in the improvement of employment, the living standards, and the prosperity of small businesses and societies in Sudan.

The study aimed at designing an efficient low cost poultry feather plucker with the main objective of ensuring that the machine improves the hygiene, food safety and defeathering processes in poultry meat production. The machine is made up of four main parts viz: the frame, prime mover, plucker drum, and plucker fingers. The study reveals that for the aim to be realized, an electric motor of 0.5hp with 2300rpm is needed to transmit a torque of 1226.25Nmm through a mild steel shaft of 10mm diameter to a plucker drum of mass 2.5kg which has 24 polypropylene plucker fingers mounted on it. The study estimated the cost of producing the machine to be $98 and considers the design safe since the FoS of the drum has a minimum value of 8 and a maximum value of 56; shear strength of the drum falls below the shear stress of Aluminum

This work focused at designing and fabricating of an aluminium mould for the production of motorcycle brake lever. The pattern making, sand mould and the casting are the major step used to achieve the work. The thermal stress exerted on the mould stood at 0.67GPa which did not exceed the permissible thermal stress for aluminium. In the design of the motorcycle brake lever, it was discovered that a force of 0.58N is required to operate the lever at an effective length of 9cm from the motorcycle head. It shows that the production of motorcycle brake lever can be done locally since aluminium is largely available in the country and hence recommends that more effort should be put in by the Nigerian government for sustainability and development in this area.

This paper presents the precolonial Nandi marriage system and household relationships upto the colonial epoch. The study examined the indigenous Nandi family, polygamous Nandi household setup, extended family, the clan, incest, and sexual relationships, responsibilities and rights of household members. It also analyzed the relationships of production, reproduction and distribution, and an analysis of their built forms and settlement.

The extraction from the agricultural waste like coconut shell using sulfuric acid and the identification of furfural in the extract treated as corrosion inhibitor. Extracted furfural was characterized by Fourier Transform Infra-Red (FTIR) spectroscopy and High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC). The inhibition efficiency of extracted furfural was studied on the corrosion of mild steel in 0.5M H2SO4 with different concentrations by weight loss method and Tafel plot techniques. The inhibition efficiency increases with also increase in the extract concentration. The effect of temperature on corrosion behavior was also studied over the temperature range of 30–45°C. The results indicate that the inhibition efficiency increases with increase in concentration of inhibitor and decreases with rise in temperature. Electrochemical polarization (Tafel plot) data explores the mixed mode of inhibition. The extracted Furfural follow Langmuir adsorption isotherm. Adsorption mechanism involves both physisorption and chemisorptions. The surface study of inhibited mild steel was performed by scanning electron microscopy (SEM).
