The feasibility of activated carbon prepared from Jatropha Curcas stem waste to remove Reactive Blue 2 from aqueous solution was investigated through batch mode contact process. The effect of various experimental parameters, such as initial dye concentration (20mgl/L), pH 6.5, adsorbent dosage 50mg and Temperature 30 °C was investigated in a batch mode-adsorption technique, the optimum condition for removal of Reactive Blue 2 Dye was found to be pH 6.5. The equilibrium data were best represented by the Langmuir isotherm model, with maximum mono layer adsorption capacity. The kinetic data were fitted to pseudo first order, pseudo second order and intra particle diffusion models and it was found to follow closely the pseudo second order kinetic model.

Family caregivers play a major role in providing care giving assistance to ill persons and their families. Families are an integral part of the care system for persons with a chronic mental illness. Mental health professionals need to be aware of and address the stress borne by the family in caring for patients with mental illness as they treat the patient. The aim of the study was to assess the burden of caregivers among mentally and physically ill women. This is a cross sectional study. The sample size consisted of 65 caregivers of women with mentally ill and 50 caregivers of women with physically ill attending the both OPD (Psychiatric and Gynae & obstetric OPD) of Sir Sunder Lal hospital. Caregiver burden of women with mental illness was more than of physical illness. There was significant difference found in both groups of caregivers. Keeping in view of the findings of study, the following recommendation were made. There is a need for teaching skills in the form of problem solving and communication is also needed to promote the coping abilities.

International Trade relations of each nation can be effective on their economic growth. These relations can lead to using the production factors on economy sectors that have more advantages and leads to improvement in efficiency of production factors and Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of each nation. In recent years many studies have been done by using different econometric modules and methods in order to answer the question that is export growth will lead to the economic growth? In this study the effect of the export value (Oil & Gas) on the national production growth (Economic Growth) had been examined through 1961 to 2011 by Johansen Test that the result shows a strong positive correlation between the value of Oil & Gas Export and Iran Economic Growth. In fact if the value of Iran Oil & Gas Export increases in 1 unit, the Economic Growth will increase 2/301 units.

The speech parameters are identified which characterize the disorder and correction system is designed to improve the speech quality. The speech signal samples of people of age between five to eighty years are considered for the present study. These speech signals are digitized and enhanced and analyzed for the Jitter, Shimmer, HNR, Pitch variations Tx graphs , Normalized Percentile fo characteristics and % Close Quotient EGG graphs using MATLAB, PRAAT, SFS and EXCEL platforms

Slums are the expression of poverty, group inequality and social exclusion (Slums of the World-2003). Slums are distributed throughout the Srinagar city. Clustering was done to study the socio-economic attributes of slums in Srinagar city. These clusters show inequality in social and economic conditions due to marginalized location. The present paper attempts to examine the socio-economic setting of slums in Srinagar city.

A design of experiment is a plan to collect measurement or observation according to a pre arrange plan in such a way as to provide the basic for valid inference. This work was carried out to examine the research station effect on the yield of Cowpea varieties. The station are four locations in Nigeria (Kaduna, Shika, Mokwa and Kano). Eight different varieties of Cowpea were considered (Tg 1910-8F, Tg 1844 – 1E, Tg1019 – 2E, Tg1904 – 6F, Tg1910 – 2F, Tg1448 – 2E, Tg1908 – 1F, and Tg1740 – 2F). The data are secondary data, collected from International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA) Ibadan, Oyo State. The result showed that research locations has no significant effect on the yields of cowpea varieties. The use of Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) design in Kaduna station, Shika station, Mokwa station and Kano station had 27.2%, 109.9%, 63.04% and 53.7% gain in experimental precision respectively.

Stock market is a mechanism through which the transaction of financial assets with life span of greater than one year takes place. Financial assets may take different forms ranging from the long-term government bonds to ordinary shares of various companies. This study was carried out to examine the role which the stock market plays in the growth process of the Nigerian economy. The Co-efficient of Determination (R2) was used to measure the goodness of fit of the model. The F-statistics was used to test the overall significance of a model. The Student t-test was used to determine the statistical significance of parameter estimates. Jacque-Bera Residual Normality Test was conducted to assert if the error term follows a normal distribution. The result of the t-test revealed that the coefficient for market capitalization, investment rate and real exchange rate are all statistical significant at 5 percent level of significance. But the coefficients of real interest rate were not statistically significant at 5 percent level of significance. The R2 which is the coefficient of multiple determinations also revealed that 99 percent of the variation in the dependent variable is caused by the variation in the explanatory variables. The F test result showed that the model is fit.

Waste plastics are one of the most promising resources for fuel production because of its high heat of combustion and due to the increasing availability in local communities. Unlike paper and wood, plastics do not absorb much moisture and the water content of plastics is far lower than the water content of biomass such as crops and kitchen wastes. The conversion methods of waste plastics into fuel depend on the types of plastics to be targeted and the properties of other wastes that might be used in the process. Additionally the effective conversion requires appropriate technologies to be selected according to local economic, environmental, social and technical characteristics. In general, the conversion of waste plastic into fuel requires feedstocks which are non-hazardous and combustible. In particular each type of waste plastic conversion method has its own suitable feedstock. The composition of the plastics used as feedstock may be very different and some plastic articles might contain undesirable substances (e.g. additives such as flame-retardants containing bromine and antimony compounds or plastics containing nitrogen, halogens, sulfur or any other hazardous substances) which pose potential risks to humans and to the environment. Pyrolysis is the thermal disintegration of carbonaceous material in oxygen-starved atmosphere. When optimized, the most likely compounds formed are methane, carbon monoxide, hydrogen carbon dioxide and water molecules.the yields of different products depend very much on the process variables. The pyrolytic oil can be blended with the conventional liquid fuels. The pyrolytic waste disposal will also mitigate the problems of environmental pollution.
