High Performance Concrete (HPC) is that concrete which meets special performance and uniformity requirements that cannot always be achieved by conventional materials, normal mixing, placing and curing practices. The grade of concrete selected was control mix (CM) of M80. Investigation was carried out on mixes of partial replacement of cement with metakaolin (MK) 10% and silica fume (SF) 15%. Regression analysis equations were developed for each type of curing based on compressive strength and age of concrete (7, 14, 28 and 56 days). In this study the effect of various curing conditions on compressive strength of HPC were studied. The various curing conditions adopted were normal curing (NC), wet cover curing (WCC), membrane curing (MC) and accelerated curing (AC). Normal water curing includes immersion of concrete cubes in water. Wet cover curing includes covering concrete with burlap. Membrane curing includes application of wax coating on concrete cubes. Accelerated curing includes application of heat at ordinary pressure. The overall finding of this study suggests that concrete should be cured by water curing to achieve a better compressive strength.

This paper focusses on the flow behavior of quaternary blended HPC using modified slump cone test. 49 HPC mixes including control mix were developed incorporating mineral admixture combinations of metkaolin, slag and fly ash up to 92.5% replacement levels. Semi-empirical models were proposed for yield stress and plastic viscosity as the function of the slump and slump time. It was found that the fluidity of concrete increased moderately and the plastic viscosity and yield stress decreased noticeably, when mineral admixture combinations were substituted partially for cement. Out of 49 HPC mixes, the quaternary HPC mix developed with 57.5% cement, 7.5% metakaolin, 25% slag, and 10% fly ash, gives a minimum yield stress of 878 Pa and plastic viscosity of 179 Pa.s.

This study presents an experimental investigation on self-compacting concrete with two mineral admixtures such as silica fume and fly ash. With low water-binder ratio, we had achieved higher grade of self-compacting concrete. The water-binder ratio was maintained to 0.36 for all the SCC mixes. This research includes the following studies: (i) Develop a suitable design mix for SCC that would satisfies all the acceptance criteria of EFNARC (ii) A study has been made for the rheology properties of SCC.The main requirements of fresh properties of SCC are filling ability, passing ability, and high segregation resistance, which can be investigated by slump flow, T50 slump flow, J ring, V-funnel, L box test. (iii) concrete samples were casted and tested for its compressive strength and Young’s modulus. The results show that SCC with 10% of SF gives higher values of compressive strength than those with 15% of FA.

This paper is concerned with the provision of Article 142 for the Constitution. Here attempt has been made to explore the expensive knowledge through the latest decision of the deliberately Supreme Court in the case of Devendra Singh Nagola vs Minakshi Nagia (2012) SC. The Constitution of this article made in "varying judicial responses to dissolution of marriage by mutual consent under the Hindu Marriage Act under article 142 S.C. can make order to do complete justice.

IEEE 802.16 family of standards (also known as WiMAX) is a broadband wireless access technology that is designed to offer high-speed connectivity. Broadband access to Internet is currently dominated by wired technologies like DSL and cable. WiMAX technology provides wireless alternative to broadband access and need to support various Internet traffics and applications. In this paper focus is to simulate and transfer of different traffics with different error correction techniques implemented in MAC layer and provides the comparative analysis of the throughput and end-to-end delay characteristics. Channel error rate is varied to observe the performance differences. Simulation results show that the error control techniques at MAC layer provides substantial improvements in end-to-end throughput and delay characteristics at lower error rates. Hybrid ARQ mechanism outperformed all other error control schemes even at significantly high error rates.

This research work deals with analysis of simply supported rectangular plate under two different types of loading viz. centrally applied point load and uniformly distributed load (UDL). Four different sizes of plates were considered depending on the shape of material that allowed in the experiments. These plates were assumed to be constructed by isotropic material and subjected to point loading & UDL. The plates were supported under standard simply supported conditions at the two ends (left & right end views from the operator) so that the moment singularity is assumed at the tip of internal line support. Plate deflections were measured for all the plates under different loading conditions. These values were then validated using the ANSYS software. The results then compared and error was found out. The physical quantities of the plates and the extent of contact related to the level of loading in the case of free contact are provided in the present work.

Microalgae are considered to be the world’s future energy reservoir and various aspects have been followed for optimizing the algae growth for large scale production of biodiesel. For the same, selection and screening of microalgae strain for its lipid productivity is much more important. Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy was used in this study for the analysis of lipid extract from natural isolate of Chlorella vulgaris. In order to evaluate the strain productivity the reference strain was obtained. Both the cultures were grown in a chemically-defined media under photoautotrophic culture conditions. Lipid extraction procedures were standardized for both strains based on Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy .The extracted lipid samples were analyzed. This study reveals that the natural isolate identified as Chlorella vulgaris strain is suitable for further optimization procedures and found with high percentage of residual lipid proportions. Also the results show that FTIR technique can be applied for determination of single cell biomass composition from phytoplankton communities.

Polycrystalline bulk samples of La_0.5Ca_0.5MnO₃ were synthesized by solid state reaction method to explore their structural, electrical and magnetic properties. The Rietveld treatment of the X-Ray diffraction (XRD) profiles clearly indicated that the XRD patterns are well fitted with Orthorhombic structure. Raman peaks revealed their finger print positions and irreducible representations at the Brillouin zone center as presented by the group theory. Resistivity ‘?’ measurements revealed that  ? first increases as temperature ‘T’ decreases, exhibits a peak at T = Tp (Tp is the temperature corresponding to the resistivity peak), which is around 150 K in the present compound and then decreases as T is further reduced below Tc (Tc is the ferromagnetic curie temperature). For T > Tc, the resistivity shows activated transport as in an insulator. Magnetization study revealed that both a paramagnetic to ferromagnetic transition and an antiferromagnetic transition are involved. Possible mechanism contributing to these processes such as activated transport and Zener double exchange has been discussed.

Proteases are one of the major causative agents used in the biological systems for the inter conversion of protenacious matter. This fact has led to the exploitation of especially bacterial proteases for their use in various industries and in such scenario, the present study explored the potential of the newly isolated soil bacterial isolates, B1, B3, B4 & G2 for the production of proteases using protease specific broth media at 30oC & 120rpm for five days by shake flask culturing method. In the results, the bacterial isolate B3 has emerged as the best protease producer strain with ~52U of enzyme activity by 48Hrs of cultivation and this B1strain was identified as Pseudomonas sp. SPSU B3, the other bacterial strain B4 was found as species with an extended period 72hrs of non-growth associated protease production (~45U) and this strain was identified as Aneurinibacillus migulanus sp. SPSU B4. The other two bacterial strains B1 & G2 were also found to be of comparable protease activity and hence deserve further studies on optimization and production of protease along with the strains of B3 & B4.

The purpose of this research is to classify sentiment of Twitter messages. We present a novel approach for automatically classifying the sentiment of Twitter messages. These messages are classified as either positive or negative. This is useful for consumers who want to do research on the user sentiment for products before purchase, or companies that want to monitor the public sentiment of their brands. Known supervised learning algorithms as support vector machines and Maximum Entropy are used to create a prediction model. Before the prediction model created, the data has pre-processed by using some properties of data such as username, hyperlink, and multiple occurrence of character in order to reduce feature space and achieve high accuracy.
