41 (31 females and 10 males) 50% Boer and 50% Abergelle crossbred goats were distributed to evaluate and compare their kids growth performance, farmers' perception and their survivable rate under farm management system. Housing, feeding and health care were thoroughly attended. The average BW, WW, SMW and NMW of the crossbred (25% Boer and 75% Abergelle) male and female kids were (2.68 kg, 2.62 kg),(12.17 kg, 11.95 kg)and (18.25 kg, 17.38 kg) respectively. While, the local kids average BW, WW, and SMW were (2.30kg, 2.23kg), (10.5kg,10.5kg) and (14.17kg,13.38kg) for male and female respectively. The result indicated that crossbred body weight increment at different growth stage was better than the local breed. Farmers were also perceive the crossbred goat have docile behavior which easily adopt for zero grazing, non selective and voracious in feeding and high growth rate, even though they criticize as short in body length and lowest disease resistant. The survivable rate of the crossbred kids at pre weaning and post weaning were 90.7% and 97.4% respectively which more related to low disease resistance. So that with applying of good management practice scaling up activities has to be strengthened to make farmers better benefited from Abergelle cross Boer goat breed.

Bipolar plates (BPs) are a key component of Proton Exchange Membrane (PEM) Fuel Cells with multifunctional character. They uniformly distribute fuel gas and air, conduct electrical current from cell to cell, remove heat from the active area, and prevent leakage of gases and coolant. Bi-Polar Plates also significantly contributes to the volume, weight and cost of Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cell stacks. Hence, there are vigorous efforts worldwide to find suitable materials for Bi-Polar Plates. The materials include non-porous graphite, coated metallic sheets, polymer composites, etc. This paper reviews various types of materials, in use and proposed, for Bi-Polar Plates and critically examines their physical and chemical properties.

In this works, Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) epidemic model including an eclipse stage of infected cells with latently infected cells was considered. The local and global stability of the system were established using the associated basic reproduction number .Bifurcation analysis was used to establish conditions for the local stability of the endemic equilibrium using the centre manifold theorem. The result shows that the disease free equilibrium is locally and globally asymptotically stable, when the associated disease threshold parameter is less than unity, and the system exhibit backward bifurcation. Numerical Simulations carried out for the analytical result suggest that the attack to the latently infected cells cannot be ignored because some quicker cells from this stage will move with time to productively infected class/cells. The Russell-Silver syndrome is a rare genetic disease, with various clinical presentations. Little is known about its developmental delay and methods of treatment in the literature. The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of physical therapy to treat a child with developmental delay caused by Russell-Silver syndrome. The intervention was performed over a period of one year, during 1-hour, twice a week, at the University Hospital of the Federal University of Sergipe (UFS). Motor performance and functional capacity were assessed by using the Inventory of the Pediatric Evaluation of Disability (PEDI). Data were analyzed quantitatively, comparing pre-and post-treatment measures. After the intervention, there was a significant increase in scores for analysis in the areas of self-care and social function. In the area of mobility, the scores also increased, showing an improvement of the engine and consequently higher degree of functionality of the child, but the infant kept showing a lower level of development when compared with typically developing children at the same age. Physical therapy was an efficacious method of intervention, enhancing and acelerating the motor and functional development in a infant with Russell-Silver syndrome.

This paper presents preparation, characterization and humidity sensing properties of SnO2 thin films. In the present investigations, the nanocrystalline SnO2 thin films were prepared by spray pyrolysis technique. These films were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD) measurements, and scanning electron microscopy (SEM).The humidity sensing properties of prepared SnO2 thin films were investigated in lab-built sensing unit. The prepared SnO2 thin films show excellent response to humidity changes with fast response and recovery time.

The research aims to determine the roles of school supervisors (SS) for improving teachers teaching and learning(TTL). Ministry of education (MOE) appreciates report from supervisors and recommendation submitted.Data collection was through questionnaires 16 out of 22 respondent's return.Data were analysed using descriptive and multiple regression. The findings revealed that Teachers prefer special supervision, supervisors check Teachers attendance register regularly, lesson notes and communicate teaching lapses. The findings will improve the Supervisors role and help them strengthen SS. Training and retraining of supervisors motivation, trustworthy and collaboration of MOE. The novelty of research focus on supervisors’ role and improvement of TTL.

This study examines the relationship between workplace ethics and employees involvement practices in Lagos and Rivers states. Research questions and hypotheses were adduced to test, the hypothesized relationship between workplace ethics and employees involvement practices. The quantitative research data was orchestrated with the aid of a five point Likert Scale questionnaire distributed to 278 employees of in maritime firms in Lagos and Rivers states. The sample size of 278 were obtained from a population of 963 employees using the krejice and Morgan Table of Sample Size Determination on the reliability of the instrument of the study, they all met the Coronach Alpha of 0.7 and above. The validity of the instrument was determined by the experts in the field. The statistical package for social sciences (SPSS version21 ) and the Spearman Correlation was utilized to test the research hypotheses. The result of the study indicates that workplace ethics has relationship with all employees’ involvement practices. The study also found that the institutionalization of workplace ethics has beefed up productivity in maritime organizations. This study therefore recommends that maritime firms should ensure the institutionalization of ethical values and norms in order to improve employee involvement practices in maritime organizations in Lagos and Rivers states. The aim of research is to determine the most important role of teachers teaching and learning (TTL). The instrument of data collection was a questionnaire, the sample 243 teachers. The data were analysed using descriptive /multiple regressions. The findings shown that teacher collaboration, share resources, teachers’ monitored, Student progress carefully monitored and working for improvement. Teachers constantly monitored by supervisors /principals for purpose of improving (TTL). The research has implications for teachers’ to be effective. The novelty of research has covered all parameters of teachers’ roles. This will contribute to improving teachers’ in educational system for the future research.

The roots of common beans ( Phaseolus vulgaris) were collected fresh by uprooting carefully from a garden soil in Bori, in Khana Local Government Area, Rivers State, Nigeria. The root nodules were prepared using the Gwyn and Handelsman,(1989) technique, and analyzed by the spread plate method upon Yeast Mannitol agar, for the Isolation and Identification of nitrogen fixing bacteria (Rhizobium), obtained from the leguminous plant. Rhizobium japonicum, R. leguminosarum and R.aggregatum were isolated and identified. Rhizobium japonicum and Rhizobium leguminosarum were the most regular isolates, whereas, Rhizobium aggregatum were scarcely isolated. The frequency of occurrence of the microbial colony forming units were in order of 6.7, 20, 26.7, 33.3 and 13 for the sample plates,T1, T2, T3, T4 and T5 as assay of root nodules formicrobial concentration of isolates were found, in the legume plant.

The main objective of this paper was to look at the effect of Organizational Culture on Organization’s Economic Performance. The discussion was based on series of empirical studies of Organizational culture and Organization’s Economic performance. The research findings no doubt have validated the synerginous relationship between Organizational culture and Organization’s Economic performance especially, the long-term financial performance was highest for organizations with an adaptive culture while strength and fit perspectives were partially supported. They also recommended that there can still be more room for improvement and consequently better economic performance if proactive adaptability is enhanced, which requires senior leaders to cooperate and collaborate among themselves, leaders must create and implement a business vision and associated strategies that fit the organizational context( a vision represents a long-term goal that describes” what an organization wants to become”) , if adaptive culture is promoted over time by a combination of organizational success and specific leadership ,leaders must get employees to buy into a timeless philosophy or set of values that emphasizes service to the organization’s key constituents-customers, stockholders, and employees-and also emphasizes the improvement of leadership, and creating infrastructure to preserve the organization’s adaptiveness by consistently reinforcing and supporting the organization’s core philosophy or values of satisfying constituency needs and improving leadership by management.
