An important social impact assessment of an intervention is the extent to which the project/intervention has impacted positively on the welfare of the beneficiaries. To this end, a comparative assessment of the impact of National Fadama Development Project (NFDP) - 11 on the beneficiaries and non – beneficiaries was conducted. Two local governments (one each from benefiting and non – benefiting) state was selected into the study. Internationally acceptable measures (age for weight, age for height of children (girls) of 0 - 3 years) were collected from the benefiting and non – benefiting farmers. Questionnaires were administered on 100 purposively selected fadama famers from each of the local government to elicit information on their NFDP – II benefits and fadama practices. Average weights and heights of the sampled children and their respective standard deviations were: 13.56 ± 3.45(kg); 78.9 ± 0.99(cm) and 9.93 ± 2.54(kg); 61.6 ± 1.31(cm) for the benefiting and non - benefiting farmers. Statistical analysis of the data indicated that there are significant differences in the heights and the weights of the children of benefiting and non – benefiting farmers. When sampled data were compared with the modeled data from FAO, 2006, the results indicated that there is no significant difference in the weights and heights of all the children. The increased income and improved standard of living of the benefiting fadama farmers could be attributed NFDP - 11 interventions. While the findings of this study should be applied with caution, it has however provided the scientific basis for the continuation of the programme in the benefiting areas and the initiation of the programme in the non – benefiting areas.

The increasing viability of 3D silicon integration technology has opened new opportunities for chip architecture innovations. One direction is in the extension of 2D mesh based chip multiprocessor architecture into three Dimensions. We present an efficient architecture to optimize system performance, power consumption, and reliability of stacked mesh 3D NoC is proposed. Stacked mesh is a feasible architecture which takes advantage of the short inter-layer wiring delays, while suffering from inefficient intermediate buffers. To cope with this, an inter-layer communication mechanism is developed to enhance the buffer utilization, load balancing, and system fault-tolerance. The mechanism benefits from a congestion-aware and bus failure tolerant routing algorithm for vertical communication.

Stress Management involves controlling and reducing the tension that occurs in stressful situation by making emotional and physical changes. The degree of stress and the desire to make the changes will determine how much change takes places in work environment. It is beneficial when employees feel challenged and stimulated, but negative if employees feel overloaded or under stimulated. Stress in the workplace reduces productivity, increases management pressures, and makes people ill in many ways, evidence of which is still increasing. Workplace stress affects the performance of the brain, including functions of work performance; memory, concentration, and learning. The Main Objective of the study is to find outthe level of stress among the employees, to determine the cause and perception of the employees about his work life. This research paper gives a comprehensive coverage of the facts and figures related to stress with the help of research analysis using hypothesis test and applications gives the clear status of Apollo hospital, Bangalore.

The present study area (Cauvery river basin) lies between 77o 43’ 54’’ E to 79o 35’ 55’’ E longititude and Latitude 10o 10’ 0’’ N to 11o 10’ 6’’ N. The basin area is demarcated from the survey of Indian topographical map No.58 I/2 (1:50,000,1972) and it covers the area about 3397 sqkms. Morphometric analysis and their relative parameters have been quantitatively carried out for the Cauvery basin, Salem district, Tamilnadu, India. Digital elevation model (DEM) is used to determine the features of drainage networks and slope of drainage network and to determine the characteristics of basins. The foregoing analysis clearly indicates some relations among the various attributes of the morphometric aspects of the basin helps to understand their role in sculpturing the surface of the region.
