Primary lymphoma of the prostate is rare. It represents 0.09% of prostate neoplasms. The authors report the case of a 76-year old patient presenting urinary obstruction and renal failure due to primary lymphoma of the prostate. we present a case of non-Hodgkin lymphoma of the prostate managed with six cycles of rituximab-based chemotherapy, and review the related literature.

The intradiverticular bladder carcinoma (IDUCB) is a rare and poorly known entity. To analyze diagnostic and therapeutic features of urothelial carcinoma within the bladder diverticulum. Twenty eight men with an average age of 65 years were included. The main reason for consultation was hematuria. The intradiverticular tumor was suspected by radiological assessment in 11 patients. All these patients underwent an endoscopic resection of the tumor. The histological study concluded to a pTa stage in 10 patients, pT1 stage in 11 patients and invasive tumors in 7 patients. A complementary endovesical BCG-therapy and cystoprostatectomy were performed in patients depending on the stage, grade, recurrence and multifocality. With an average follow-up of 31 months, seven recurrences were found in the group of superficial tumors, including 5 cases of progression to invasive stage and 2cases of nodes invasion. Intradiverticular bladder tumors are rare and more common in elderly. They are distinguished from conventional bladder tumors by a triple specificity: pathological specificity with high frequency of ?T3a tumor, diagnostic specificity with a risk of under-staging of the extent and tumor multifocality, therapeutic specificity linked to a worse prognosis than conventional tumors which encourages a strict limitation of the indication of conservative treatment.

This study investigates empirically the effect of investment decision on financing decision. To obtain the objectives, the data required, ranging from 2004 through 2013 were collected from the financial statements of all the banking firms listed in Karachi Stock exchange. Investment opportunity and actual investment were used as proxies of investment decision. Profitability and firm size were used as control variables. Multiple regression models were used to estimate the variables of interest. It was concluded that investment opportunity had significant effect on financing decision; however, the effects have no particular pattern. Furthermore, actual investment had no impact on financing decision.

Translation of literary texts in general and poetry in particular as a distinctive type of translation has been of great importance since the early appearance of translations. On the one hand, the difficulty of translating the metrical pattern and on the other hand the nature of poetry itself has turned the poetry translation a very controversial issue and there have been done many investigations on its different aspects. When it comes to rendering the very spirit of masterpieces like Shahnameh, poetry translation becomes so much trickier. This study aimed to analyze the story of The Seven Stages of Esfandyar in Shahnameh in terms of figures of speech to realize that how the figures of speech are transferred or lost in the English translation of Shahnameh. To this end, First 10 verses of the story of The Seven Stages of Esfandyar which were selected according to the degree of frequency of figures of speech and also the translation of the selected verses were studied, each of them were analyzed separately by identifying figures of speech. Then the type and number of figures of speech in the source text were compared with those of the target text. The findings indicated that there was about 50% loss in Warner & Warner's Translation of Figures of speech in the selected verses of the story of the seven stages of Esfandiyar in Shahnameh.

The Ganges basin is the largest river basin of India. It is one of the geologically youngest and tectonically active drainage regimes of the world. The sediment load of the basin consist of fine sand, silt and clay and mineral assemblage is dominated by quartz, feldspars, illite and kaolinite. For the present study of Ganges river basin middle Gngetic plain was chosen because of its immense cultural and economic significance. It covers the Bihar plain and entire Eastern Uttar Pradesh on either side of Ganges and Ghaghara rivers within Himalaya and peninsular ramparts on the north and south respectively. The sediment samples were collected from three locations, viz., upstream at Varanasi, midstream at Ghzipur and downstream at Patna, twice once in pre-monsoon period (April, 1999) and other in post-monsoon period (October, 1999). The sediments were analyzed to understand the distribution and biogeochemistry of C, N and P. The Organic Carbon (Corg) was found to be decreasing with depth due to the age of the sediment and extent of anaerobic decomposition. The post-monsoon concentrations were lower than pre-monsoon due to conducive environment for decomposition of organic matter. Total Carbon (Ctotal) was found to be comparable at all these three locations. The substantial part of Ctotal is found to be inorganic in origin. Nitrogen contents were very low decreasing with the depth due to mineralization of organic matter, as more than 90 % of nitrogen is organic in nature. Phosphorous content in all these three locations were comparable. The phosphorus content was decreasing with the depth due desorption of Fe-bound phosphorous under anaerobic condition formed by burial and compaction of the sediments. A distinct spatial pattern was obtained in the distribution of phosphorous. Corg/N ratio was found to be increasing with depth by mobilization and leaching out of nitrogen, due to its mineralization.

The world is sitting on a keg of gunpowder that is neglected in pursuit of non-nuclear proliferation, nuclear accident and nuclear war. Already, there are global warming and climatic change wars raging all over the planet. Let us develop and share data and information that can warn the government and citizenry on scientific and technological dangers of the world that are similar to nuclear holocaust. It is a problem of developed and undeveloped worlds as nature knows no boundary akin to territory boundary protections.

This study presents the application of geophysical wireline logs for porosity and permeability characterization of “AHO” field, Eastern Niger Delta, Nigeria. The main objective of the study is to understand the effects of petrophysical parameters on reservoir quality of the field. A suite of wireline logs (gamma ray, resistivity, and density logs) from seven wells of “AHO” field were analyzed. Gamma ray log motif was used to delineate lithologies, delineate the top and base of reservoir units, and consequently determined petrophysical parameters using standard relations. The reservoir properties evaluated include porosity, permeability and fluid saturation. The study identified six (6) reservoir sand bodies (A, B, C, D, E, and F) delineated from their tops and bases at depth 3000ft – 5280ft. Petrophysical evaluation computed across the reservoir shows porosity ranging from 32.08 % to 37.47%; permeability 3067.72md to 4051.06md and average hydrocarbon saturation of 71.1% to 77.6% for reservoirs A-F. Plots of depth versus porosity shows that porosity decreases with increasing depth, and porosity versus permeability shows that permeability increases as porosity increases. From the analysis, the reservoirs show excellent porosity and permeability. The reservoirs in AHO field are of high quality to enhance hydrocarbon accumulation and production.

To success in work environments and in response to challenges that organizations are facing, it is essential to combine knowledge, skills, experiences, and views of all employees of an organization, Only by doing so organizations could hope to have the ability of solving problems, meanwhile teamwork is one of the cases that has many things to do in order to achieve the goals of an organization, because it is by team working and the use of various expertise to carry out a project that organizations can survive in the present tempestuous world. Also the presence of individuals with knowledge and wisdom who help organizations to achieve their goals is obviously a matter of great importance. This study is carried out with the aim of answering this question: Do the employees character strengths of wisdom affect teamwork? For this purpose, the medical staffs of Zanjan hospitals were chosen as the statistical population. Group-random sampling method was used to take samples from this population and 200 persons were chosen to collect data through questionnaires. Before distributing the questionnaire its validity was confirmed by the content validity and its reliability was confirmed through Cronbach's alpha which was equal to 0.83. In this study inferential statistics were used to analyze data and review questions, also every individual parameters and their importance were evaluated by confirmatory factor analysis. And finally, the proposed questions and model were investigated according to the research objective using factor analysis and Root Mean Square Of Approximation(RMSEA), absolute fit indices and relative indices of model and the results showed that the considered wisdom characteristics, including love to learning, perspective, judgment, originality and curiosity affect teamwork .

Research on food science and technology is necessary to fuel food industries, it will leads to generation of employment, growth of agriculture, increase in export and improvement of economy. During last five years, Indian food processing sector show 8.4% growth but country is dependent on import of technologies. India needs domestic technologies for agro-based rural industries, value addition, food preservation and processing, nutrition enhancement and management of food wastage (Economic Survey 2013-2014).

The goal of this paper was to investigate the effect of using Leitner’s learning box in studying inter-mediate to advanced vocabularies among first year students at the Islamic Azad University-Parsabad Moghan Branch in Parsabad Moghan City, Iran. This research was carried out in a class with diversified students from engineering to humanitarian fields. The participants were haphazardly assigned into two homogeneous groups each consisting of twenty five students. The test was performed in fall semester 2012. The control group received the conventional treatment while the experimental group received the Leitner’s learning box to use it for learning vocabulary. Before initiating the treatment, two similar tests were prepared as the pre-test and post-test to discover the vocabulary knowledge of the students at the initial and final stages of the study. The analysis of obtained results in the post-test manifested significant differences between the two groups such that the students in the experimental group outperformed the students in the control group in terms of their vocabulary knowledge. Thus, it was concluded that the use of Leitner’s learning box in studying vocabulary for first year students at the university led to a higher level of vocabulary improvement.
