A data acquisition system is a device designed to measure various parameters. The purpose of the data acquisition system is generally the analysis of the data and the improvement in accuracy of measurements. The data acquisition system is normally electronics based, and it is made of hardware and software. The hardware part is made of sensors, signal conditioners & data acquisition card and computer. The data acquisition system increases efficiency of measurement and lowers the cost for test, through easy to integrate software like Visual Basic. With this system, Engineers can use graphical representation to meet their specific needs – very different from the conventional and traditional measurements. Additionally, data acquisition system capitalized on the ever-increasing performance of personal computers. In test, measurement, and control, the system experiences up to a 10 times increase in efficiency at a fraction of the cost, in a fraction of time, of traditional measurement system. This Dissertation work involves testing of internal combustion engine using data acquisition system . For this the data is acquired from internal combustion engine and send to computer after required conditioning. The parameters of internal combustion engine which can be measured are speed, load, temperature and vibrations . The graphical display on the computer screen can be made by using any software like Visual Basic . This is an attempt to develop a Computerized Test Rig for measurements of Speed , Load & Temperature, Vibrations using Software like Visual Basic , Hardware PCI 1050 Card with Signal Conditioning using INA128 IC and Sensors like Proximity Sensor, Load Cell and RTD .

In this paper, we present a design and implementation of a calculator software which applies the Microsoft visual studio and C-sharp (C#) for effective performance of some operations like polynomial solver of degree 10, simultaneous equation solver up to five systems of equations and evaluating the numerical integrations of some selected functions. It is expected that this application will help students and teaching staff in their daily doing of some mathematics related tasks.

The tourism as a Scanner industry and incomet generation has an important role in many economic, social and cultural aspects. Today, many counties are based in economic structures from tourism development supporting, and develop their economies by reliance to it. The aim of this study is to assess tourism Socio-cultural and environmental effects of Tang Ganje recreational camps. Data were collected by interview and questions of the people then were analyzed using SWOT model. So development of tourism can have widespread effects on the indigenous people lives, and through the influence on all aspects of indigenous life, and develop their economic and socio-cultural condition. According to the findings of sample groups showed that tourism in all its dimensions has more positive effects and creating appropriate infrastructure for the organizations can help attract more tourists to the area. It also became clear that the development of this industry in the region could cause economic growth; reduce migration to urban areas and increasing the welfare of the indigenous people. The cohesive zone model (CZM) can be regarded as a computational model which provides valuable insights in the prediction of crack initiation and propagation. The concept behind this model considers the process of fracture as a gradual phenomenon in which separation takes place between two adjacent virtual surfaces across an extended crack tip. The role of the CZM in analyzing the crack propagation in different materials and variations in the traction separation law(TSL) are covered in a detailed manner in this paper.

The present paper is an attempt to illustrate the direct formula for calculating total number of similar rectangles present, when any rectangle is sub divided into congruent rectangles. Subdivision of any rectangle into congruent rectangles means sides of the rectangle divided into n equal parts and points are joined in a sense that it forms number of congruent rectangles.

Nitrate is a major pollutant of groundwater in semiarid, agricultural dominated areas. An attempt has been made to understand the level, distribution of nitrate in the groundwater in parts of Vellore district, Tamil Nadu. Thirty three groundwater samples were collected and analysed for major physic-chemical as well as nitrate concentration. Nitrate concentration exceeded the permissible limit of 45mg/l in Thirty nine percent of samples. Spatial distribution diagram of Nitrate shows a higher concentration in the southwest and central part of the district. Fertilizer as well as the failure of proper sewage systems is identified as the major cause for nitrate contamination.

ABSTRACT Suitability of growing media or substrates is essential for production of quality seedlings for transplant. It directly affects the development and later maintenance of the extensive functional system. A good growing medium would provide sufficient anchorage of support to plant, serves a reservoir for nutrient and water, allow oxygen diffusion to the root and permit gaseous exchange between the root and atmosphere outside the root substrate. In the present of study different growth media were used to germinate the seed of white yam (Dioscorea rotundata) under a controlled growth chamber to identify which among the tried media is best for yam seed. The growth media tested were Cocopeat, Peat pellet, Carbonized rice husk, Top soil, Cocopeat + Top soil and Carbonized rice husk + Top soil. Each treatment was measured into a nursery seedling basket, arranged in randomized complete block design, and replicated four times. Daily minimum and maximum Temperature and Relative humidity records were recorded throughout the experiment. At 60 and 90 days after seed sowing, growth response parameters were recorded and were subjected to analysis of variance and treatment means were separated using least significant difference at 5% probability level. Highest germination of 71.65 and 88.65% at 60 and 90 days after sowing respectively were recorded from yam seed planted in Cocopeat and the same trend was observed in respect of growth response parameters observed. Top soil had the least influence as growth medium, which was not significantly different from response from its mixture with other growth media.

English occupies a place of prestige in the whole world simply because it is the lingua franca. In Saudi Arabia, though it can never replace Arabic yet becoming popular in younger generation for educational/economic growth and development. The way English has been taught in most of Asia including the gulf region, is to a great extent responsible for the deterioration of the standard of English for various reasons. The issue of falling standards of English in KSA in particular in the past is very much due to the curricular aims and objectives of English language Education. The main cause for the students learning difficulties and poor achievement especially in speaking skill is that teachers themselves have a very limited exposure of reasons of difficulties and appropriate instructional strategies.

This study examined the effect of bank credit to the private sector on economic growth in Nigeria using data on Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and bank credit to private sector (BCPS). Inflation and interest rates were included in the study as control variables. All data were obtained from Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) statistical bulletin and span across 1981 to 2010. Data stationarity were ensured using the Augmented Dickey Fuller (ADF) statistic, while the OLS were applied to ascertain the impact of bank credit to the private sector on economic growth. Results of the analysis showed that bank credit to private sectors has a statistical strong positive relationship with GDP and that as expected, bank credit to the private sector has statistically significant effect on economic growth. The paper recommends that the CBN should lower its minimum rediscount rate to a moderate level that will enable banks fix low interest rates on their loanable funds while adopting direct credit control to favour preferred sectors like Agriculture and manufacturing. Finally, monetary authorities should through monetary policy reduce legal reserves requirement for banks to enable the banking sector to create more credit for the economy. This will enhance investment, job and employment opportunities which on the other hand will boast economic growth in the country.

Along with the expansion of the municipal structure of the Chairman is elected directly by the local population is of particular importance.
