L1-minimization solves the minimum L1-norm solution to an underdetermined linear system. It has recently received much attention, mainly motivated by the new compressive sensing theory that shows that under certain conditions an L1-minimization solution is also the sparsest solution to that system. In this paper an L1 minimization algorithm is proposed for solution of Dual Tone Multiple Frequ-ency (DTMF) reconstruction problems. In the method of Compressive sensing, a raw signal or image can be regarded as a vector which can be represented as a linear combination of certain basis functions. The discrete cosine transform (DCT) has been used as the basis function in the proposed algorithm. This algorithm considers only 500 samples and reconstructs the original signals exactly without any distortion. The compressed DTMF signal is estimated using DTMF decoder with the help of Goertzel algorithm, the popularity of which lies in the small number of points at which the DFT is estimated. We compare with the existing algorithms such as FFT and Goertzel algorithms. The results show the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.

The purpose of writing the current paper is to survey employees’ empowerment on their job satisfaction in Iran insurance. To measure empowerment, competency, trust, meaning, impact and self-determination and to survey job satisfaction nature of work, salaries and income, leadership style, relation with coworkers and promotion systems were applied. 2 separated questionnaires in empowerment and job satisfaction distributed among statistical society after proving their validity and reliability. The results of applying Spearman and Friedman tests show that empowerment and its dimensions have positive and meaningful influence on job satisfaction in which the influence of competency is more than other variables. Also there are positive relationship between employees’ educational level and job experience with their satisfaction. Finally the results of applying Binomial test show that all variables were placed in high levels.

Employer branding is a long term strategy to manage perception and awareness of employees, potential employees and related stakeholders in regards of a particular organization. Employee brand is an organizational image which is in the mind of the current employees as a ‘great place to work’. Now the Employer Brand is a brand management in HR perspective to attain, attract, engage and retain employees of the firm. Employer brand is a strategy which helps to retain the employees and try to minimize the employee attrition in the organization.

This study presents a comparison of the themes associated with the phenomena of birth and death in Pakistani and British English fictions i.e. PEF and BEF in the vast framework of several varieties of Englishes around the world. As culture of Pakistan differs entirely from that of Britain, so are the themes which are associated with birth and death in their fictions. Different words have different associative meaning in different societies (e.g. meaning and usage of ‘dear’ or ‘clever’ is quite different in Pakistan and in England. Truly representative corpus of English fiction, comprising various genres from both the varieties of English has been analyzed and processed through AntConc 3.2.2w (windows) 2008. The study has investigated PEF as well as BEF thoroughly on the basis of Dixon’s Semantic approach to English grammar (2005) and elaborated that the adjectives used with birth and death in both fictions are entirely different besides the universally common psychological incidents of birth and death in all human beings. The study reveals that the rituals and customs associated with birth and death are entirely different in BEF and PEF. It establishes that Pakistani variety of English uses entirely distinctive linguistic norms as compared to British variety of English.

Studies on orange production in Mazandaran province are necessary due to its potential for production and large cultivation area. In this study energy input-output, economic analysis and econometric modeling of energy input for orange production in Sari region of Iran were carried out. From a total of 86 farmers considered for the analysis, the total input and output energy were 54.2 and 59.2 GJ ha-1, respectively. Diesel fuel, fertilizer and water had the highest energy values per hectare, respectively. Results showed that the overall energy ratio (Energy use efficiency) was calculated as 1.09. The relationships between various energy sources and yield were found using Cobb-Douglas production function. Econometric models showed that among all energy sources chemical fertilizer, farmyard manure and water for irrigation had the most significant impact on orange yield. Additionally, economic analysis was carried out with results showing that the bene?t to cost ratio and net return for orange production were 10.6 and 16420.4 $ h-1, respectively.

Wiener systems identification is studied in the presence of possibly infinite-order linear dynamics and nonparametric nonlinear element. The latter can be noninvertible and of arbitrary-shape. Using simple constant and sine excitations, and getting benefit from model plurality, the problem identification problem is made. All estimators are shown to be consistent

Neurological researchers have recently revealed their findings about increasingly common and sophisticated role of Artificial neural networks (ANNs). That applied for systematic realistic modeling of interdisciplinary discipline incorporating neuroscience, education, and cognitive sciences. Accordingly, ANN Models vary in relation to the nature of assigned brain functioning to be modeled. For example, as human learning takes place according to received stimuli that is simulated realistically through self-organization paradigm by artificial neural networks modeling. This piece of research adopts the conceptual approach of (ANN) models inspired by functioning of highly specialized biological neurons in reading brain based on the organization the brain's structures/substructures. Additionally, in accordance with the prevailing concept of individual intrinsic characterized properties of highly specialized neurons, presented models closely correspond to performance of these neurons for developing reading brain in a significant way. More specifically, introduced models concerned with their important role played in carrying out cognitive brain function' outcomes. The cognitive goal for reading brain is to translate that orthographic word-from into a spoken word (phonological word-form). In this context herein, the presented work illustrates via ANN simulation results: How ensembles of highly specialized neurons could be dynamically involved in performing the cognitive function of developing reading brain.

Kidneys play an important role in control and regulation of homeostasis. It is also known that many heavy metals are nephrotoxic as kidney concentrates them before excretion. In order to assess the nephrotoxic effects of nickel chloride, the present work was under taken to observe histopathological changes in kidney of mice by oral administration of different doses of three nickel salts (NiCl2). Histopathological studies with light microscopy were made on the kidney of control and experimental groups of mice. Histopathologically, the density of Bowman’s capsules and tubules decreased as compared to control. The Bowman’s capsules were damaged and contracted badly. The pacts (Proximal convoluted tubules) showed more necrosis than dcts (Distal convoluted tubules) necrosis.

ABSTRACT:Iron deficiency anemia is highly prevalent. Dietary improvement by including iron-rich green leafy vegetables is one of the best options for increasing the iron content of the diet. Saravallai (Trianthema portulacastrum linn was used to formulate Saravallai dhal powder (SDP) and incorporated at three, six and ten percent in traditional Indian recipes. The energy, protein, fat ,calcium and iron content of SDP was 450.64±17.78 kcal. 23.74±0.53, 7.94±2.52 g percent. 589.33±8.14 and 27.16±0.76 mg. Ten percent incorporation of SDP did not alter the sensory qualities of rice, murukku, galagala, onion chutney, tomato thokku, potato fry and dhal sambar © 2014 Elixir All rights reserved

This research paper suggests a load balancing algorithm using fuzzy logic methodology so that maximum Quality of Service can be attained. Avoidance of jamming of packets is one of the key performance objectives of traffic management in MPLS networks. Load balancing can avoid the congestion caused due to inefficient allocation of network resources. Another feature of the network performance is Quality of Service (QOS). QOS in telecommunications jargon, is a measurement used to determine how well that network is satisfying the end user's requirements. The Mean Opinion Score (MOS) is an important feature in determining the QOS. MOS is a measurement of the quality delivered by the network based on human observation at the destination end. Precisely we can tell average opinion score (MOS) provides a numerical indication of the perceived quality of received media after compression and transmission.
