An attempt has been made to survey biodiversity of arbuscular mycorrhizal (AM) fungi associated with five xerophytes from Ghodnadi area Dist. Pune, Maharashtra. The xerophytes surveyed were Argemon Mexican, Linn., Aristolochia bracteata, Rrtz.,  Chlorophytum tuberosum, Baker., Scilla indica, Baker., Tribulus terestris, Linn., Soil samples and roots of these plants were collected from four different localities. Five genera with twenty one species were reported from Ghodnadi area. The genus Glomus was dominant with 13 species. It was followed by Acaulospora with 4 species, two species of Scutellospora  were reported.  Whereas one species each of Gigaspora and Sclerocystis was reported from above area. The maximum number of AM propagules per 100 gm soil was 1980 and minimum was 4 per 100 gm soil.  The percentage root infection was ranging between zero and 90 percent.

Corrosion inhibition efficiency of newly synthesized Schiff’s bases viz. N-(4-N,N’ dimethyl amino benzal)-1- naphthyl amine (SB₁), N-(4-methoxy benzal)-1-naphthyl amine (SB₂) and N-(4-methoxy benzal)-2- amino pyridine (SB₃) for aluminium in HCl solution was studied using weight loss, potentiometric and thermometric  methods. Inhibition efficiency was found to be increase with increasing concentration of inhibitor as well as with acid strength. Results obtained by all methods have been found in good agreement with each other. Results revealed that SB₂ is better corrosion inhibitor than SB₁ and SB₃. Maximum efficiency was found 99.23% in 2.5N HCl solution for 0.4% concentration of SB₂.

The purpose of research was to study the most important factors that are causing growth of industry and then suggest a plan of action that could be followed in response to the existing decline Of textile growth in Pakistan. The Pakistan textile industry contributes more than 60 percent (US $ 9.6 billion) to the country’s total exports. However, currently this industry is facing great decline in its growth rate. The major reasons for this decline can be the global recession, internal security concerns, the high cost of production due to increase in the energy costs etc. Depreciation of Pakistani rupee that significantly raised the cost of imported inputs, rise in inflation rate, and high cost of financing has also effected seriously the growth in the textile industry. As a result neither the buyers are able to visit frequently Pakistan nor are the exporters able to travel abroad for effectively marketing their products. With an in-depth investigation it was found that the Pakistan’s textile industry can once again be brought back on winning track if government takes serious actions in removing or normalizing the above mentioned hurdles. Additionally, the government should provide subsidy to the textile industry, minimize the internal dispute among the exporters, withdraw the withholding and sales taxes etc. Purchasing new machinery or enhancing the quality of the existing machinery and introducing new technology can also be very useful in increasing the research & development (R & D) related activities that in the modern era are very important for increasing the industrial growth of a country.

In spite of its popularity, the Big Five Personality has been criticized for being too descriptive to provide a theoretical model of personality. The current study aims to investigate the extent to which personality and demographic variables contribute to motivation, competitiveness and job satisfaction as defined by measuring their personality, work motivation and satisfaction. This paper shows that conscientiousness and job status were both significant predictors of job satisfaction. All acknowledgement that individual differences can affect the success of an intervention, may contribute to the design of effective work reorganisation schemes that are better suited to the employees they seek to benefit. Originality. The value of this paper was that it looked at how personality and demographic factors may influence work motivation, level of competitiveness and work satisfaction.

The success of every organization is highly dependent on how it attracts recruits, motivates and retains its quality workforce. In the current scenario, the organizations need to be more proactive to ensure the development of their workforce and commitment. Hence the organizations necessitate adopting the strategy to improve the employee’s Quality of Work Life (QWL) to satisfy both organizational objectives and employee needs. Quality of work life is the degree to which work in an organization contributes to material & psychological well-being of its members. The present study attempts to measure the level of level of perceived quality of work life among the employees of private manufacturing companies in the state of Tamilnadu, India. An attempt is also made to find out if the quality of work life has any significant relationship with job related variables and with demographic variables. The work related factors are combined in nine categories: Adequate & Fair, Compensation, Safe & Healthy Working Condition, Opportunity for Development, Opportunity for Growth & Security, Social Integration, Constitutionalism, Work & Total Life Space, Social Relevance & Working Life, Quality of Work Life Feelings and Overall Quality of Work Life.

This paper aims to examine the key drivers for employee engagement within an organization. It seeks to answer the question: what are the keys to improving the level of employee engagement? A case study illustrates a strategy for employee engagement that was based on research on the key drivers of engagement. The paper presents practical case study material from Kia Motors – the South Korean automotive manufacturer. It shows how Human Resources (HR) worked to develop a strategy to address very poor levels of employee engagement. A clear set of engagement measures was developed to assess the impact of the engagement strategy. This paper ascertains some of the key drivers of employee engagement as illustrated by the case study. It demonstrates a number of practical tools HR professionals can utilize to build employee engagement within their organizations.

In this paper, we define a new algebraic structure of an anti Q-fuzzy normal HX group and lower level subset of an anti Q-fuzzy normal HX group and discussed some of its properties. We also define anti Q-fuzzy normalizer and establish the relation with anti Q-fuzzy normal HX group. Characterizations of lower level subsets of an anti Q-fuzzy HX subgroup of a HX group are given.

Research in common parlance refers to a search of knowledge. It is also defined as a scientific and systematic exploration for pertinent information on a specific topic. It is a movement from the known to the unknown and a voyage of discovery. It comprises defining and redefining problems, formulating hypothesis or suggested solutions; collecting, organizing and evaluating data; making deductions and reaching conclusions and at last carefully testing the conclusions to determine whether they fit the formulating hypothesis. Research is thus, an original contribution to the existing stock of knowledge making for its advancement. It is the pursuit of truth with the help of study, observation, comparison and experiment. The purpose of research is to discover answers to questions through the application of scientific procedures. The main aim of research is to find out the truth which is hidden and which has not been discovered.

Frequent pattern mining algorithms are designed to find commonly occurring sets in databases. This class of algorithms is typically very memory intensive, leading to prohibitive runtimes on large databases. A class of reconfigurable architectures has been recently developed that have shown promise in accelerating some data mining applications. In this paper, I propose a new architecture for frequent pattern mining based on a systolic tree structure. The goal of this architecture is to mimic the internal memory layout of the original pattern mining software algorithm while achieving a higher throughput. We provide a detailed analysis of the area and performance requirements of our systolic tree-based architecture, and show that our reconfigurable platform is faster than the original software algorithm for mining long frequent patterns.

This research gives an account of influence of cultural factors on consumers eating habits. Food carries religious, sexual, political and social connotations. The contents of a consumers grocery cart, table setting, serving rituals, time of consumer meal reveals the consumers political preferences, class, gender, religion and nationality. The objective of this study was to find out the role of demographics and psychographics cultural factors, also to study the transition of consumers taking place from local to foreign food. To explore the reasons of consumers to eating out behavior their taste preferences and changing trends in food consumption. The sample included 150 respondents, which included children and students, businessmen, salaried, housewives. Convenience and purposive sampling was used. The tools used were multiple regression, cross tabs and frequency distribution. They were applied and the data was analyzed and interpreted. The survey revealed the findings that there is a significant relationship between age and income on food preferences, Respondents’ in spite of opening up of foreign eateries prefer the food offerings in their local outlets and opening up of new outlets, the greater the capacity of consumers to eat out. Food products offered by the foreign eateries must have a blend of both local and foreign touch to increase their sales in the Local market .A good quality of food plus an entertaining environment by the out must also be provided.
