In this paper the temperature distribution and thermal stress analysis of multilayered composite circular rod is discussed by finite element method and the result temperature and thermal stresses has been computed numerically and illustrated graphically.

Companies must remain consistent in the development of human resources will be obtained on a periodic basis so that human resources are more qualified again so it will be able to contribute to employee motivation. As well as the placement of human resources should be made of companies with selective as possible so that staffing will be right in place and will make a major contribution to the work motivation.

Functional properties and anti-nutritional factors of five wild seeds (Borassus aethiopum, Bombacopsis glabra, Entada africana, Entada gigas and Myrianthus arboreus) were carried out using standard methods. Functional properties of` the flour showed that the least gelation concentration for B. aethiopum, B. glabra, E. africana and M. arboreus were 10%, 6% 6% and 18% respectively. E. gigas flour however did not gel at 20%. B. aethiopum had the least foaming capacity 1.85% while B. glabra had the highest 27.27 %. Water absorption capacity ranged between 3.00% in M. arboreus and 30.0% in E. africana. Oil absorption capacity was between 13.00 % in M. arboreus and 22.00% in E. africana. Protein solubility increased with increase in pH in acidic medium and reached the peak at pH 7 (E africana exempted) before solubility began to decrease with further increase in pH at alkaline medium. Antinutrient content showed that saponin ranged between 0.29% in E .africana and 0.42% in B. glabra. Phytate was between 0.14mg/g in E. africana and 6.56mg/g in E. gigas. E. gigas had tannin content of 0.45mg/g, while M. arboreus had 4.87mg/g , B. aethiopum had the lowest oxalate 2.25mg/g while M. arboreus had the highest of 7.19mg/g.

In the present study, the objective was to study the synthesis and analyse the zinc oxide nanoparticles from Anisochilus carnosus leaf extract. The study revealed that the plant extract possessed significant phytochemicals. The nanoparticles were synthesized using the leaf extract and analysed using UV, FTIR, SEM and XRD. Different functional groups were found to be present indicating the presence of diverse compounds in the extract. The zinc oxide nanoparticles also possessed potent antibacterial activity against many pathogenic organisms.

In this paper fixed point theorems on fuzzy soft normed linear space are discussed in a different way. Also the concepts like mapping using set of all soft points, fuzzy soft contraction,contraction, R-weakly commuting, etc are defined.

In order to increase the ultrasonic trapping efficiency of bioparticles, a new cylindrical acoustic cavity with a concentric stainless cylindrical steel reflector for trapping and separation of bioparticles was designed and constructed. The resonant modes in this cavity were estimated by theoretical modeling and verified experimentally. For all bioparticles under study (RBC's, yeast and E-C0li), the simulation and measurement results were well agreed. Results obtained indicated that trapping efficiency reached 94% for RBC's at ultrasound intensity of 3 w/cm2. Acoustic contrast factor changed according the density of bioparticles and suspended medium. So it is possible to separate particles with different densities.

In the context of today's socially-networked-society and the rise of social media applications like Facebook , new perspectives need to be considered. The present research explored social media by examining their potential as new venues for political participation. This research seeks how using social media (e.g Facebook) for free time affects political participation (in Chandigarh, Panchkula, Mohali and Zirakpur areas). A sample of 200 males who were staying with and away from their families in the age group of 19-23 years were administered scales of Facebook usage and political participation. Correlation and descriptive analysis were applied. Results revealed a negative correlation between Facebook usage for free time and political participation. Significant difference also emerged between the males staying with and staying away from families on using Facebook for free time.

The effect of cassava peel ash on Lateritic Stabilized with Bitumen was investigated. The lateritic solid was collected from Umuma-Isiaku in Ideato South LGA of Imo State. The Bitumen was collected from New Idea Construction Company Ltd in Owerri. The Cassava peel was collected from Ohaji in Egbema LGA OF Imo State. The Cassava Peel was burnt in a furnace and sieved with 150% sieve to obtain the ahs used in the experiment. The lateritic soil was classified as A-2-7 on AASHITO classification chart. The percentage replacement level of soil by Bitumen and Bitumen/cassava peel ash 0-10% by weight of dry soil. The investigation was carried out with respect to compaction Characteristic and California Bearing Ratio (CBR) tests. The result obtained indicated a decrease in maximum Dry Density (MDD) when the soil was stabilized with bitumen and increases when cassava peel ash was incorporated for 0-10% replacement level of soil with bitumen and bitumen/cassava peel ash respectively. The result of the optimum moisture content (OMC) increases when bitumen was used in stabilizing the soil and decreases when cassava peel ash was incorporated. The result of the MDD when bitumen was used in stabilizing the soil ranges from 2.16-1.76gkmcm3 for 0-10% replacement of dry soil with bitumen and 2.16-4.20g/cm3 when cassava peel ash was incorporated. The results of OMC ranges from 11.20 -21.90% and 11.20-8.80% for 0-10% replacement of dry soil with bitumen and bitumen/cassava peel ash respectively. The result of CRR text ranges from 22.66-85.75% and 22.66-18.10% for the same replacement level of bitumen and bitumen/cassava peel ash respectively. These results shows that the high shear strength of soil which was achieved by stabilizing the soil with bitumen was reduced by the incorporation of cassava peel ash.

Topology is a branch of geometry concerned with the properties remains unchanged when the figure is deformed. The significance of topology is which will help to develop light weight components which are used in manufacturing of two wheeler carts, etc., the result is we get better automobile fuel efficiency. This in turn results to energy conservation and global environmental preservation. In industries several attempts are made to produce lightweight designs. In order to manufacture light weight component our first step is to decrease the weight of the wheel rim. The wheel is designed using CATIA and Imported CATIA 3D Model into Altair Hyper Mesh V13 for doing Pre-processing and ALTAIR Optistruct Software for doing optimization and structural analysis of the wheel rim. The aim of this work is to develop an optimization procedure in order to reduce the weight of rim component. The focus of this project has been the weight reduction of an aluminium wheel by means of a topology analysis.
