The Sm3+doped Y2O3 phosphor has been prepared by using combustion technique. The visible frequency upconversion emission has been observed from the developed phosphor under excitation with a 980 nm diode laser excitation. The upconversion mechanism involved in the Sm3+ doped Y2O3 phosphor has been explained on the basis of excited state absorption (ESA) process.

Cloud computing can be observed as the transition of a long held dream called “Computing as utility”, into reality. This is a next generation platform that provides dynamic resources pods, virtualization, and high availability. The success of cloud lies in the terms “pay per use” and “multi tenancy”. But these two major advantages bring some disadvantage with them. The “pay per use” facility requires proper scheduling of tasks for proper utilization of the cloud. And the “multi tenancy” brings some major security threats as all the different organizations use the same physical infrastructure. Many researchers have concentrated in both the fields. In this paper authors have studied various security solutions, scheduling algorithms and their issues related to cloud computing.

The effect of family and its structure on delinquency, in particular juvenile delinquency, has been the object of a wealth of notable research, all of which suggest that family is by far the most important factor in individuals’ law abiding behavior and delinquency in a society. Surveying two samples i.e. juvenile delinquents and well-behaved minors in Shiraz, the present study examined this very issue and yielded results supporting, to a great extent, those obtained by previous research. In this study, 19 independent variables as the family structure variables influencing youth crime were tested using a questionnaire. The research hypothesis holds that these variables are significantly correlated to juvenile offending. The results indicated that, on the one hand, there is a significant relationship between delinquency among the samples and variables including place of birth, disability, adherence to religious values, parental monitoring, maternal employment, home ownership, family breakdown, and drug and alcohol abuse among family members, which supported the hypotheses. On the other hand, delinquency, the results suggested, is not significantly related to variables including household income, paternal employment, satisfying economic needs, parental education, family intimacy, stuttering, family dysfunction, and contact with friends, rejecting the corresponding hypotheses.

Identification of influential factors of firms has always been one of the main concerns for both academics and practitioners in the realm of finance. The aim of this study is to identify the role of managers of the firms on this issue. Statistical society of this research is all the public equity firms of Tehran which are registered in Tehran Stock Exchange. The sample is 61 of those firms in different industries. Results show that those registered firms who have board of managers with more independency have reported more profit at the end of their financial year. Managerial implications are presented and directions for future studies are shown at the end of this research.

The present study examines the role of religion in mental health and quality of life, is discussed. Present study is based on descriptive research method, is correlational. The population of all male students, city Sarpolezohab the academic year 2014/2013, are studying samples with 280 people, according to a random sampling method, is considered. Instruments used in this study, the questionnaire Baraheni religious attitude and mental health questionnaire (28 - GHQ), a global health and quality of life are. Results from the study showed that between negative religious attitudes, and mental health. students, there was a significant negative relationship. Negative religious attitude, the quality of life for students, there was a significant negative relationship. Religious attitude, positive mental health of students, there was a significant positive relationship. Between positive religious attitude, the quality of life for students, there was a significant positive relationship. Thus, religion can be, on all factors have an important role in the pathogenesis of stress and situational evaluation, cognitive evaluation of a person, action, advocacy and resources.... may diminish mental.

This study aimed to investigate the relationship between personality characteristics, based on the Five Factor Model of personality, mental health, Azad University of Chaloos, was performed. The present study, the type of non- experimental or descriptive More specifically, the project was correlation. Population, all students, Azad University, Chaloos, in the academic year 2014/2013, were enrolled, the formed, numbering 2,500, respectively. samples 330 through Morgan was chosen. instrument used in this study, two standardized questionnaire, features five big personality factors McCrae and Costa (1985 ), and health Questionnaire, 28 - GHQ is used. Our results indicate that, between physical symptoms, personality characteristics (extraversion, accountability, consistency and Welcome ), a significant positive correlation, and between social functioning, personality characteristics (extraversion, responsibility flexibility, adaptability and Welcome ), a significant positive correlation, and between anxiety symptoms, personality characteristics (extraversion, accountability, consistency and Welcome ), a negative relationship, and the symptoms of depression, personality characteristics (extraversion, accountability, consistency and Welcome ), a negative relationship, and the personality trait of neuroticism, positive and significant relationship, and the total score of mental health, personality characteristics (extraversion, accountability, consistency and Welcome ) there is a significant positive relationship. The present study investigated the relationship between Unknown emotional, interpersonal problems, in high school students' knowledge Sarpolezahab district, is at 2012-2013 years. Research method was descriptive, correlational, population of this study, all high school students Sarpolezahab district boys and girls in the age group 14-19 years, a total of 5435 people. using simple random sampling, a statistical sample of 360 students (180 girls and 180 boys) were selected by Morgan. instrument used in this study, the scale of emotional Unknown Toronto (FTAS-20), and the scale of interpersonal problems (IIP-60), has been used. methods of data collection, data analysis, the index and methods of descriptive statistics, including frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and inferential statistics including the Pearson correlation coefficient, t the independent variable in the regression to predict criterion has been used in research. The results showed that the students have difficulty describing feelings, interpersonal problems, positive correlation is, and the difficulty in identifying feelings, and externally oriented thinking with interpersonal problems related to students there. Despite the strides made over the course of the past decade to address the barriers present for women to overcome in order to progress in the work place, it is still relevant and necessary to assess the degree of transformational and effective change within the workplace in general, and within the Control Instruments Group in particular. Firstly, to establish whether these barriers till exist; and secondly, what can be done to overcome those that still remain. The various problems addressed within this research included whether the position of women and their rights within the greater context of the working environment have improved since the new dispensation which became effective following the 1994 election, and the level of transformational change within the Control Instruments Group was assessed to identify what barriers still exist, and how can these be overcome.

Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) have important roles in employment and GDP. One of the success pillars of SMEs is brand management improvement. This study evaluated the strategic performance of brand management in foods sector’s SMEs based on Keller’s Brand Report Card (BRC) in Iran. The research design of this paper is descriptive- survey type. The data gathered from 100 managers of 50 SMEs by using a 37-items questionnaire from 6 provinces. Results indicated that however the overall brand management performance has a good score but the performance in sub-categories are not equal. Freidman test indicated the priorities of brand performance in 10 sub-categories. Kruskal-wallis test showed that priorities of four sub-categories performance among different sectors of food industry.

The leaves of Sida acuta “Broom Weed” (Family: Malvaceae) was analysed for its proximate, anti-nutrients and mineral elements composition using standard methods. The proximate analysis showed the results to be (%) moisture 54.82, ash 7.94, crude protein 17.85, crude fat 2.70, carbohydrate 6.21, crude fibre 5.30, and caloric value 360.54 Kcal. The concentration of anti-nutrients (mg/100g) was observed to be oxalate 140.8, hydrocyanic acid 98.3, phytate 210.1 and tannin 603.7. The mineral element contents (mg/100g dry weight) were Na (81.90), K (117.40), Ca (44.32), P (1.15), Fe (1.01), Zn (1.07) and Mg (14.40). The study showed that the high concentration of anti-nutrients in Sida acuta Burn.f. obtained from this locality might cause health hazard if consumed in large quantity over a long period of time.
