Oncoba spinosa is traditionally reputed for its medicinal potential particularly in southwestern part of Nigeria for the treatment of diabetes and cancer. 500 g of the leaves were extracted with 70 % aqueous ethanol and sequentially partitioned with hexane and chloroform. The various extracts were tested for the presence of secondary metabolites and subsequently screened for ?-glucosidase inhibitory, radical scavenging and cytotoxicity activities. Alkaliods, flavonoids, tannins, sterols, and anthraquinones were detected in various extracts while saponin was absent in all the extracts. The crude and aqueous extracts showed better activities than the standard antidiabetic drug (acarbose) in concentration dependent manner. The aqueous and chloroform extracts had antioxidant activities comparables to ascorbic acid at concentrations 125 and 250 µg/mL. The brine shrimps lethality assay indicated the cytotoxicity of the crude, chloroform and hexane extracts, this was further established using cervical (HeLa) and Lung (A549) cancer cell lines. The results support the folkloric use of the plant as antihyperglycemic and antineoplastic.

The job- employed fit is one of fundamental issues in human resource management. It has been improved that, this fit is an organizational necessity for the human source profitability. So, the main aim in this research is to investigate the job- employed fit and the effects on female personnel's emotional intelligence among governmental organizations in Kermanshah. This research is conducted based on descriptive and surveying method; the instruments to collect data include queries; the Salovey & Mayer standard emotional intelligence query is used to investigate the emotional intelligence; and the knowledge, skill and ability queries from international Occupational Information Network (O*NET) are implemented to investigate the job- employed fit, and each query includes, in average, 21 questions. The perpetuity was 0/79 for emotional intelligence query and 0/81 for job- employed fit query and because the Cronbach ? is more than 0/7 for both queries, therefore both queries has enough perpetuity. The considered statistical society includes 300 female personnel from governmental organizations in Kermanshah. Based on random sampling method, some category was selected as statistical sample, and 156 queries were collected, finally. We used Colmogrov- Smirnov test to determine the data normality and the results gained from the test supported it; the research theories were tested using absolute T-test and some positive and considerable effect was demonstrated. The results show that in considered society, the job- fit personnel gain higher emotional intelligence scores. Another result gained in this research indicated that just 40% of female personnel are completely job- fit and therefore these organizations have an unstable situation.

The tribal populations are is recognised as socially and economically vulnerable. Their lifestyles and food habits are different from that of their rural neighbours. They depend on minor forest produce and manual labour for livelihood. They may not have adequate income. Their food consumption pattern is dependent on the vagaries of nature and varies from extreme deprivation (in the lean seasons) to high intakes (in the post-harvest period). This leads to the health and nutrition problems. The health and nutrition problems of the vast tribal population of India are as varied as the tribal groups themselves who present a bewildering diversity and variety in their socio-economic, socio-cultural and ecological settings. The objective of the present paper is to examine health and nutritional status of the tribal population in India. The collected data reveals that Primitive tribal groups of India have special health problems and genetic abnormalities. The malnutrition is high among the tribal population. The tropical disease like malaria is still widespread in the tribal areas. The tribal population has a much lower Infant Mortality Rate (IMR) as compared to the scheduled castes but moderately higher than the other population. No specific precautions are observed at the time of conducting deliveries which resulted in an increased susceptibility to various infections. Services of paramedical staff are secured only in difficult labour cases. Vaccination and immunization of Infants and children have been inadequate among tribal groups. In addition, extremes of magico-religious beliefs and taboos tend to aggravate the problems. Lack of medical facility is another problem for them. Hygiene problem is very common in rural as well as in tribal areas. Hence proper methods should be developed to tackle the problems.

In all kinds of forums communication takes place. These forums could be social, academic, political, cultural, and technological. In a communication setting, information, messages and the whole array of ideas and suggestions are exchanged by groups of people. This paper will use “presenters” and “listeners” for these two groups of people. A further clarification in this realm of communication is production and reception. The production realm of communication will emphasize the oral skills, which necessarily imply speaking, and forms of Non-verbal Communication. The reception will include reading and listening. Currently however, in the communication spheres, it has become difficult to draw lines among the 4 basic communication skills of Reading, Listening, Speaking and Writing. It is not clear whether reading lies wholly on reception or whether it can also be considered a production aspect of communication. The situation being referred to here is where one reads out aloud to an audience. The basic question we would need to consider is when reading, is one engaged in producing or receiving as the listeners do? The field of psycholinguistics discerns these differences. They are not the specific focus of this paper. Likewise, in a writing session when one generates ideas as one writes can one be termed to be receiving or producing? The confines of this paper will be productive skills and the emphasis will be on presentation skills in the jurisdiction of speakers. The paper stakes its claim on the issue that the person who gives information orally has others listening to him/her. The presenters use Language or words in speech and Non-verbal cues to get their messages across. These cues are categorized as gestures, facial expressions and expressive movements. As the presenter manifests these communicative acts, certain impressions form in the mind of those at the receiving end and these in turn affect the presenter and create an impact on the listener/recipient of the information. The objective of this paper will be to discuss the paradoxes of the impact of oral presentation. It is a known fact, albeit subtly, that those who listen to a presentation affect the presenters. The impact of the listener on the presenter determines the level of communication. This is the focus of this paper.

With the advent of OFDM for WLAN communications, as exemplified by IEEE 802.11a, it has become imperative to have efficient and reliable synchronization algorithms for OFDM WLAN receivers. The main challenges with synchronization deal with the delay spread and frequency offset introduced by the wireless channel. In this paper, research is done into OFDM WLAN synchronization algorithms, and a synchronizer implementation is presented. This synchronizer performs packet detection; frequency offset estimation, and time synchronization.

The main aim of this study is analysis Employees’ involvement and quality improvement in Iranian small and medium enterprises (SMEs). This research is conducted based on descriptive and surveying method; to collect data, was chosen through questionnaire. For research’s purposes, a distinction was made between small firms (fewer than 50 employees) and medium-sized ones (between 50 and 250 employees), questionnaires was mailed to 600 Iranian SME randomly selected. The questionnaire was pre-tested and validated with the help of a panel of two academics/researchers on quality management issues and two quality managers in SME. Out of the sample, a total of 95 questionnaires were completed and returned. Data gathered through questionnaires were submitted to a set of statistical analyses tools, using SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Sciences), and punctually, some of Microsoft Excel’s statistics and data bases tools. In accordance with research purposes, univariate analyses were performed on issues strictly descriptive, while bivariate analysis tools were used on issues based on means comparison (Student’s T test and Chi-square test). Showed that in considered society, most SME developed training programs specifically focused on quality improvement, suggesting that, beyond fostering quality improvement awareness, SME supply their employees with tools necessary to develop their skills and(or acquire new insights needed to improve their performance. These evidences may indicate that top management is aware about the importance of training and development focused on quality improvement, for effective employees’ participation in quality continuous improvement initiatives.

The authors present unusual case of isolated fracture-dislocation of medial cuneiform bone in a 22-year old after falling from the horse with midfoot taken by the stirrup .The plain x-rays is not likely to reveal a fracture-dislocation on this part of foot .Computing tomography (CT scan) can useful in determing the nature of the injury in such a case. The fracture was treated surgically by performing a through debridement and an internal fixation using kirshner wire after reducing .Ligaments were repaired and a prevention antimicrobial and physiotherapy were instaured. At the end of three months, we obtained a painless foot, stable and the patient was returned his activity.

The present study examines the relationship between individual characteristics and effectiveness of human resources staff of the University of Kermanshah focuses light. This descriptive study based on survey and is branching out. Inventory data is collected. In order to measure the individual characteristics of human resources At standard questionnaire "Bass, and AldryjValnzy" and part of the questionnaire has been developed based on the model used is Talkut Parsons The reliability of individual features 0.85 and the reliability of the 0.87 was obtained Both the questionnaire and Cronbach's alpha over 0.7 are thus the reliability of both questionnaires were required. Statistical volume of about 470 employees Glider (non-faculty members) are Based on the sample was selected as the Morgan Dujy 270 finally 291 questionnaires were collected. For the normal data obtained from the Kolmogorof test - Nuf smear was normal and the test results confirmed the data. Spearman correlation test research hypotheses, were approved And normal test results confirmed the data Hypothesis test of solidarity with my Speer, were approved and they proved positive and significant effect This means that the individual characteristics of human resources is stronger The study population will increase the effectiveness of staff.

The rationale of the present research is to understand how and to what extent a particular leadership style can affect the climate of the organization. And further to find out the most popular form of leadership on the basis of data collected from both public and private sectors respectively. The real leadership is measured by its impact on others and in creating organizational climate which focuses on employee wellbeing. The questionnaire was conducted on 105senior personnel in education sector to determine their leadership style and further to study the effectiveness of each style on the climate of the organization. Results: There is a difference in leadership styles of different educational institutes and in turn their impact on climate of the institute. The leadership styles prominently emerging are participative and catalytic. Implication: Success of the organization depends on its leader. Participative leaders are those who involve other people in the process, including their subordinates, peers, superiors and other stakeholders. The Catalyst Leaders are visionary, they have facilitative, innovative, inspiring vision and empower people to transform the vision into reality. The paper reports that the different leadership styles create different type of climate which is responsible for the over all wellbeing of the employees and the institute. In today’s world successful leaders are those who provide opportunity and training to everyone to develop to the next level.

A representative government is always understood as a limited government for the reason that the representatives are mere delegates under special orders. The Sovereignty in such forms of government lies with the people and is expressed in a Constitution, written or unwritten. India has adopted a representative form of government under a written Constitution operating as a limitation on governmental action. The framers of Indian Constitution came up with a written Constitution in order to ensure that there was some sort of rigidity in the Constitution. Also the power to amend was given to the Parliament under Article 368 in order to overcome the difficulties which may encounter in future in the working of the Constitution. However, the extent of flexibility embraced by a Constitution has to be balanced by a need to preserve its normative character as a higher law that restrains temporary parliamentary majorities of the nation. Article 368 of the Constitution does not prescribe any express limitation upon the parliament’s amending power, however the Supreme Court in Keshavananda Bharati v. State of Kerala (1973) declared that Article 368 did not enable parliament to alter the ‘Basic Structure or Framework’ of the Constitution. With the intention to preserve the original ideals of the Constitution, the Supreme Court pronounced that the Parliament could not distort, disfigure and mutilate the basic features of the Constitution which are sacrosanct to the ideals of the Indian society. The doctrine of Basic Structure is an expression of a much deeper notion of democracy where the sovereignty of the people in a republic is retained by the people even against its own representatives. Vigorously debated since its inception, the doctrine continues to be a central feature of recent institutional contests over Constitutional identity and change. This paper examines the development and the scope of the doctrine of basic structure as a Constitutional safeguard and its reflection in the jurisprudence of some other countries.
