Furniture is a must have product that everyone would have it. There are many types of furniture makes from various types of materials and need some working skills to produce them. Furniture industry is a well-known industry all over the world and contributes to the increasing of Malaysian economic growth. High workforce demand in furniture industry can give a future career option towards graduates’ students of Vocational College in Furniture Operation and Manufacturing Course. By TVET, students can learn the proper skills in furniture industry so that they can adapt and getting involve with the industry.

Co-curricular is a group activity where the planned activities more advanced than teaching and learning in the classroom that provide the opportunity to add, strengthen and practice the knowledge, skills and values learned in the classroom. It is a physical, emotional and spiritual construction platform in line with the aims of the National Education Philosophy aimed at forming a balanced generation. Hence, referring to the Letter of Professional Circular No. 1/1985 dated 2 January 1985, each student either government or non-government school is required to take at least one activity of the Uniform Body Team, an association or club activity and a sports or game activity. The main goal of co-curriculum’s implementation in education is to achieving the National Education Philosophy in distributing awareness of religion and belief in god. Balancing spiritual, physical, intellectual and emotional development and also strengthening relationships and interactions among students; Build and increase interest and talent; Building and improving discipline; Creating a healthy school culture; Building and improving cooperation and create a school of character. The curriculum plays an important role in education. Among them is the importance of cultivating the character and the unity of creation. This is in line with the second core of the Education Development Master Plan (PIPP), namely Developing Human Capital. Participation in co-curricular activities can also increase the level of student’s discipline. Based on some studies, it found that the co-curricular activity was able to reduce the disciplinary problem to a minimum level. However, in this effort, teachers, parents and communities need to work together and strengthen relationships with one another. Negative perceptions of co-curricular implementation in schools should eradicated. Schools and parents need to be more open-minded.

‘Change’ is the campaign strategy Alhaji Mohammadu Buhari used in emerging the winner in the March, 28, 2015 Presidential election in Nigeria. Recently, Nigerians took to the online media to discuss the nature of the ‘change’ the president promised during his election campaign. This article explored the online discourse on the ‘Change’ agenda based on the context of Public Sphere Theory. The study used survey with a questionnaire as the instrument for data collection to sample 300 academic staff in the South-East geo-political zone in Nigeria to determine if their use of online media induced their participation in the discourse on ‘Change’ agenda and the credibility of the discourse. The study found that exposure to online media discourse is associated with political participation. online media platforms did not only provided avenues for political interaction but also effective in persuading participation in the discussion of matters of public interest like the ‘Change’ Agenda of the government. The study, therefore, recommends that citizens should utilize the opportunity presented by the online media platforms to present public service agenda which can attract attention to the essence of participating in governance and holding people in the position of authority accountable.

Gluteric aciduria type 1 , a rare autosomal recessive genetic disorder which is caused by deficiency of Glutaryl CoA dehydrogenaseleads to progressive neurological damage. 75% of the cases of gluteric acidemia type 1 present with macrocephaly and is the earliest and most consistent sign of the disease (1). Here we report a case of gluteric aciduria type 1 in a one year old male child without macrocephaly but typical clinical spectrum of the disease.

In the present paper, we have selected the sponge iron industry in Chhattisgarh which uses iron – ore as the main raw material for the purpose of analysis of the iron-ore suppliers, Six important criteria have been considered and four suppliers are taken into account. In this paper MCDM (MultiCriteria decision making) is used for determining order preference with the help of the parameter related to Supplier selection. MCDM refers to making decisions in the presence of multiple, usually conflicting criteria. These criteria are compared using AHP and their weights are found. Using these weights, Topsis is applied to find the ranking of the suppliers and to choose the best among them. Result shows supplier S3 is best alternative supplier.

Information on social media platforms suffers from a relative lack of professional gatekeepers to monitor content. Therefore, credibility and privacy on social media platform has become important issues for today information consumers. This study aims at exploring Saudi Youths' trends toward some social networking issues which are credibility, and privacy and how their awareness of these controversial issues affect their use of social media. The study is based on a survey with a sample size of 300 young people from Saudi university. The findings indicate that Saudi students reported that the information found on social network sites are not credible, and they are worried about their privacy when using any social network sites.

Concentration of Cd, Cu, Pb, Ni and Zn were determined in the surface water of Usuma Dam and in the treated drinking water from the same source using Atomic absorption spectrophotometry. The concentrations of Cd, Cu, Pb, Ni and Zn in the surface raw water were 7.0, 17.0, 24.1, 14.0 and 43 µgl-1 respectively. While their concentration in the treated drinking water were 5.0, 10.0, 18.0, 9.0 and 25.3 µgl-1 respectively. The trend of the concentration is in the order of Zn > Pb> Cu> Ni> Cd in both the water samples. The result shows that the metal concentrations in the treated drinking water are lower than the metal concentration in the raw water. This may be attributed to water treatment processes and distribution.

This paper attempts to explore the relevance of the Yoruba belief in divinities towards local government reforms in Nigeria. It further argues that elements of traditional cultural imports embedded in the Yoruba belief in divinities can be used to advance democratic development in Nigeria. The paper also looked for relationship between moral value and other socio-philosophical dimensions as the ‘philosophem’ for the study. The paper establishes that the idea of harmonious interaction, mutual cooperation and partnership between the divinities in traditional Yoruba metaphysics can be used to curb the problems of dictatorship, ill-distributive justice and other undemocratic practice battering the path of local government reforms and democratic development in Nigeria. In its contribution to knowledge, the paper emphasizes the practical relevance of the belief in divinities in traditional Yoruba metaphysics as means for understanding, regulating and sustaining democratic development in Nigeria

The study focused on the modelling of a candle flame using CFD modelling technique. Governing equation which formed the basis of a CFD modelling using SolidWorks flow simulation was developed, and the simulation result was compared with an existing experimental result. Modelling results show that the heat flux is maximum at the wick base and minimum at a distance of 0.1m from the wick tip, where it maintains averagely a constant value of 55.23kW/m2. This implies that the heat flux generated by a typical candle is large enough to ignite secondary objects such as wood materials located even 100 mm above the wick of the candle as they are capable of auto-ignition at heat flux above 40kW/m2. However, nearby objects that are not directly over the candle base can also be ignited, but must be located much closer for ignition to occur.

Communication is a complex phenomenon. The attitude that some students have a natural gift for these skills, while others do not, may impede effective curriculum development. Without specific attention, communication skills may actually deteriorate as student’s progress through training. 1.To develop good relationship ( Rapport ) between students and patient.2.To make the B.P.Th students good communicator and good listener,3.To train the students for verbal and non verbal communication skills. The study is conducted at SKNCOPT, Pune .IV B. P.Th (n=20) students participated in the study. Master’s students participated as observers (n= 4) and ( Sp’s )Standardise patient (n= 5). OSCE Checklist was prepared for COPD and validated from senior faculty members of the institute. And also the station for history taking were prepared. In the interpersonal skills section, the pre values are showing statistically significant 95% confidence interval for difference: 9.336 to 13.33 t = 13.087 with 8 degrees of freedom; P < 0.001, highly significant. In History Taking Pre values showing statistically significant. But post lecture results shows 95% confidence interval for difference: 5.724 to 8.836t = 9.656 with 24 degrees of freedom; P < 0.001 highly significant. Thus the study concludes that the Communication skills have a central role in clinical practice and in treating the patients.
