In the present study the test was carried out for the screening of antimicrobial activity of clove oil extracted from clove. Screening was done using agar well diffusion method against Bacteria and Fungi. 4 Bacterial and 10 fungal species were taken. According to the result clove oil was effective against Bacteria as compared to Fungi in particular concentration. We can conclude by our work that clove oil is better for antibacterial. It has also been noticed that by increasing concentration of clove oil the growth of fungi has decreased.

This paper describes an approach for formulation of approximate, generalized field data based mathematical model (FDBM) for the process of PVC pipe manufacturing at some industries. The present work is aimed at establishing mathematical relationship between the responses and inputs at the operation of PVC pipe manufacturing process using single screw extruder. For this purpose various small scale PVC pipes manufacturing industries are visited. The operation of PVC pipe extrusion is studied. The study is focused on an extrusion line starting from its electric motor, extruder hopper, barrel, extruder screw up to the extruder die. First of all the various dependent variables in form of responses and the independent variables in the form of inputs are decided. The categorization of these variables are made in terms of pi terms viz. ?1 ?2 ?3 as independent and ?D1, ?D2, ?D3, ?D4 as dependent variables. Then the field observations are taken and accordingly data collection process is completed. After this step, an approximate, generalized field data based mathematical models are developed. This work presents an approach to check the reliability of models, which is executed by comparing error frequency graphs of various mathematical models formed. After that the influence of the various independent pi terms in the models are studied by analyzing the indices of the various pi terms. Through the technique of sensitivity analysis, the change in the value of a dependent pi term caused due to an introduced change in the value of independent individual pi term is evaluated. The ultimate objective of this work is not merely developing the mathematical models but to find out the best set of independent variables, which will result in maximization or minimization of the objective functions. This is achieved by applying the technique of optimization. Thus the objects of these models are tested to optimize the inputs required for satisfying the various responses. The comparative analysis is made of the outputs of the network with observed data and the data calculated from the mathematical models. This modeling and simulation approach enables entrepreneur of small scale PVC pipes manufacturing industries to get system wide view obtained by deliberately making local changes in their manufacturing system. They can predict its impact on performance of their machines. With the help of the models, one can find a method to improve the productivity of the industry. The results obtained from experiments are also analyzed by the development of different polynomial mathematical models and its related graphs. Recommendations with respect to improvement in the current operation are suggested and future changes are proposed.

The effect of temperature dependent viscosity and thermal conductivity on magneto hydrodynamic flow, heat and mass transfer of an incompressible micropolar fluid past an accelerated infinite vertical plate is studied where the viscosity and thermal conductivity are assumed to be inverse linear functions of temperature. The partial differential equations governing the flow, heat and mass transfer of the problem are transformed into dimensionless form of ordinary differential equations by using similarity substitutions. The governing boundary value problems are then solved numerically using shooting method. The effects of various parameters viz. viscosity parameter, thermal conductivity parameter, mass transfer parameter, coupling constant parameter, Prandtl number, Schmidt number, Grashoff number, Reynolds number and magnetic parameter on velocity, micro-rotation, temperature and concentration field are obtained and presented graphically. The Skin-friction, Nusselt number and Sherwood number are also computed and presented in table.

Image processing is widely applied in various area of applications such as Medical, military, agriculture, etc.. The problem which generally occurs in image processing is the removal of noise generated due to various sources. In this paper a new approach based on neural network technique is proposed for the removal of noise. This technique follows three levels. This technique combines the advantages of filtering, neural network and bayes shrinkage technique. The noisy image is first passed through a bilateral filter and neural network is applied to the filtered image and the output of NN is then applied to bayes shrink. The proposed method outperforms other methods both visually and in case of objective quality peak-signal-to-noise ratio (PSNR) and MSE. Proposed method is verified for additive white Gaussian noise.

This paper presents a photovoltaic array (PVA) simulation model to be used in Matlab-Simulink GUI environment. The model is developed using basic circuit equations of the photovoltaic (PV) solar cells including the effects of temperature changes and solar irradiation. This PVA model is used with boost converter to analyze its output and usage for various constant DC operations efficiently. Further an applications of solar panel of low output voltage is shown in which the panel is simulated with boost converter and then its output is given to an SVPWM fed inverter which provides 3 phase AC supply for 3 phase induction motor, which is feeding half of the industrial world. The advantage of using PID controller with closed loop converters is also shown in this paper, which provides constant DC. The simulation of closed loop converter with solar panel is done and the results are presented

Peer-to-peer (P2P) botnets are the modern and most resilient bot structures which are harder to take down and stealthier to detect their malicious activities, because of which these are adopted by many of the recent botmasters. In this paper, we propose a novel botnet detection system which is capable to identify resilient P2P botnets. Our system initially identifies the p2p communication hosts present in the network. It then derives p2p traffic and further distinguishes between the botnet generated traffic and legitimate generated traffic. The parallelized computation makes scalability a default feature of our system. High detection accuracy and prodigious scalability are the extra features of our proposed system.

Automated Fruit Grading System is challenging task in ICT in agriculture. This paper presents a new fruit grading system using artificial neural networks (ANN). The classification systems are based on features extracted from fruits obtained from image processing feature extraction methods. Two different types of classifiers as multi-layer perceptions (MLP) with back propagation and radial basis function (RBF) networks. The objective of this study are to define a optimistic set of external quality features of fruits from the primitive features like color, texture and shape of fruits and to examine the effectiveness of the model. In this experiment, the performance of the system achieved 87.5% and 91.1% respectively for MLP with back propagation and RBF.

In this paper we are study on time minimizing transportation problem for Albert David Company. The object of this problem is minimizing the transportation time of goods which supply from one source to another source. In this paper we are using zero point method [6,7] to solving time minimizing transportation problem and compare the obtained results with the regulars with the regular methods, which is solve by tora software to get feasible solution and we find that zero point method is best from another method.

A small size low profile microstrip patch antenna with different shape configuration like L, U and E- shape is presented here. Slot insertion causes size reduction which increases the bandwidth and return loss. So here we will see the performance of bandwidth enhancement and return loss by graphical analysis of different value. This paper reviews the performance analysis of compact and small planar monopole antenna with symmetrical L and U- shaped slots for wireless local area network (WLAN) and worldwide Interoperability for microwave access (WiMAX) (2014). Circularly polarized arrowhead shaped slotted microstrip antenna (2014), small UWB Planar Monopole Antenna with Added GPS/GSM/WLAN Bands (2012). Application of characteristic mode to commonly used circular polarized U-slot and E-shaped patch antenna (2012). Bandwidth enhancement of a polarization reconfigurable antenna with stair slots on the ground (2014). This paper also discusses the technology incorporated in order to bring about the required change in terms of improved performance. The performances of the antenna are compared along with measured and simulated result.

Abstract Quality of Education and training is a major consideration worldwide. It is even a more crucial issue in the technical vocation Education and training (TVET). The determinants of the quality of education and training include among others the quality of teachers, learners, the learning environment, facilities for learning and the curriculum. This paper articulates briefly the historical development of the TVET and TVET teacher training in Kenya with a view to highlighting how quality of education and training may be promoted. It looks at the organisation of education and training and lessons that may be advanced. It is based on literature review for historical developments and an analytical survey that was carried out to establish the views of presently serving TVET teachers in Kenya. The paper concludes that there is a need for continuous reform and upgrading of teacher skills, that the facilities for training should be as close and similar to the facilities found at the workplace, and that the institution–industry links should be strengthened and be made more mutually beneficial.
